I am working weekdays at Puget Sound Energy in a hybrid work environment. Although my schedule is mostly remote, I am sometimes expected to come into the office during team meetings or collaboration days, but these dates are almost always planned at least 2 weeks in advance. This gives me flexibility on timing (e.g. I can provide 4-6 hour potty breaks as needed for house sittings on in-office days). On other days of the week, I am free to work from your home all other days, so a home office setup is always appreciated if you have one! Weekends are open apart from other Rover clients :)

I always keep a watchful eye on cats and dogs when opening doors without an external fence. I always try to keep dogs entertained when they’re around me. I also know when a cat does or does not need attention and will work with them to provide the most stress-free environment.

Information Braxton G. would like to know about your pet
My absolute favorite breeds of dogs are Frenchies, Samoyeds, and mountain dogs and my favorite cats are Scottish Folds and Orange Abyssinians. But in all seriousness, I love all animals and just would love to hear about their behavioral tendencies or special needs ahead of time.
A typical day
Depending on the type of stay (drop-in, walk, sitting) the day will vary. I enjoy taking various routes throughout the neighborhood and playing with dogs in their favorite ways (fetch, tug-of-war, etc). I also pay special attention to cat behavior and am very aware of their attitudes and quirky behavioral needs (I love making them flop over for belly rubs and picking them up, if they like it)

Growing up, I had three cats, a Pomeranian, and three Guinea pigs at various points of my childhood. After 3 years operating on Rover, I can confidently say that these experiences early in life have made this job very easy and most importantly, fun.

Braxton was an absolute gem of a house and dog sitter! From the moment we left, we had complete peace of mind knowing our home and Pixel were in such caring hands.
