Braxton was an absolute gem of a house and dog sitter! From the moment we left, we had complete peace of mind knowing our home and Pixel were in such caring hands. He sent regular updates and photos, and it was so heartwarming to see Pixel thriving with his pack of dogs — she was in her element! We loved knowing she was getting so much exercise and social time rather than just waiting around for us to come home. We returned to a happy, well-loved pup and a house in perfect order. We’d welcome Braxton back without a second thought and recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter they can truly trust.

Schedule
I am working weekdays at Puget Sound Energy in a hybrid work environment. Although my schedule is mostly remote, I am sometimes expected to come into the office during team meetings or collaboration days, but these dates are almost always planned at least 2 weeks in advance. This gives me flexibility on timing (e.g. I can provide 4-6 hour potty breaks as needed for house sittings on in-office days). On other days of the week, I am free to work from your home all other days, so a home office setup is always appreciated if you have one! Weekends are open apart from other Rover clients :)

I always keep a watchful eye on cats and dogs when opening doors without an external fence. I always try to keep dogs entertained when they’re around me. I also know when a cat does or does not need attention and will work with them to provide the most stress-free environment.
Pets
A typical day
Depending on the type of stay (drop-in, walk, sitting) the day will vary. I enjoy taking various routes throughout the neighborhood and playing with dogs in their favorite ways (fetch, tug-of-war, etc). I also pay special attention to cat behavior and am very aware of their attitudes and quirky behavioral needs (I love making them flop over for belly rubs and picking them up, if they like it)
