About: I grew up helping care for our family cat for about 10 years, and I still care for my mother’s cat when she travels. My experience includes feeding, preparing specialized diets, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, companionship, and keeping a close eye on changes in behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits. I understand that cats have very different personalities and boundaries. Some want constant attention, while others prefer to observe from a distance before deciding whether you have earned their trust. I follow each cat’s routine and let them set the pace without forcing interaction. About: I grew up with pets, from large to small. My sibling and friends always rely on me fostering their dogs and cats. I work from home and won’t leave your pets alone. My husband and I work full time from home, so your pets will always be attended to. They will pretty much hang out with us while we go about our day. My husband starts walking all of the dogs at around 8am. I will open my fenced yard at midday for a midday pee break. My husband will come back at around 6:30pm to give all of the dogs another walk. We usually feed the dogs their morning and evening meals after they come back from their walks. We will open the yard again before bed for a late night pee break.

About: I consider myself to be a loving and caring person, saving the most room in my heart for dogs and other furry friends. Dogs have always been part of the family - from my grandparents’ tradition of always having a little white dog to caring for large rescue dogs with difficult pasts. I’m always sensitive to a dog’s feelings, trying to anticipate their needs and making sure they always feel safe and comfortable. This was most apparent in my relationship with my own dog, Fille, who passed in June 2025. She was a scared and traumatized rescue that was found lost wandering the desert in Arizona, but after adopting her in 2018 and spending 7 wonderful years together, she blossomed into a confident (albeit stubborn) pup who received lots of love and support so she could explore the world with me. During our last year together, I got first-hand experience with not only senior care but disabled dog care; Fille was living with partial paralysis in her hind legs, and so I learned how to best support her mobility on walks and take care of pain management, physical therapy, and other special needs as they arose. I would love to treat your dog with the same compassion and love and look forward to many future walks and visits! I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can care for pets on any schedule. I do sometimes travel for work, but my availability will surely be updated with plenty of advance notice to accommodate any pet parent’s needs! Pets would be allowed full range of my home, and I ensure that any potential hazards (cords, garbage, etc.) are properly stowed away and cannot be accessed by any four-legged friends. About: My husband and I live in North Capitol Hill with our Malinois and German Shepherd. As the owner of a dog I trust with very few people, I understand how stressful it can be to hand someone else the leash or access to your home. I continually monitor for approaching dogs, traffic, cyclists, tight spaces, environmental triggers, and safe alternate routes. I understand that responsible handling often means preventing a difficult situation instead of waiting until one has already developed. That same awareness carries into the home. I am used to dogs who can open doors, get past barriers, jump onto counters, move large objects such as trash cans, and reach hazards that many people would never anticipate. I carefully check for medications, food, trash, unsecured doors, and anything else a curious or determined pet might access. With smart dogs, the smallest overlooked detail can quickly become a much larger problem. My experience also includes: • Puppies, including house-training routines, frequent potty breaks, consistency, and managing chewing or mischievous behavior • Senior dogs who may require a slower pace, extra patience, mobility accommodations, or closer observation • Anxious and reactive dogs who benefit from structure, space, calm communication, and predictable routines • Cats, including feeding, litter-box care, play, companionship, and following each cat’s preferred level of interaction I do not assume that experience with my own pets means I automatically understand yours. Every animal has different routines, triggers, boundaries, medical needs, and quirks. I welcome detailed instructions and honest information about behavior, anxiety, reactivity, past incidents, or anything I should avoid. That information does not intimidate me. It allows me to provide safer and more confident care. My schedule is flexible because I do not work a traditional nine-to-five job. I am currently on summer break while finishing my degree in interior design, and I can accommodate weekday and weekend walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and recurring care depending on location and timing. I also have a large SUV and reliable transportation. If urgent veterinary care is ever necessary, I can safely transport dogs of various sizes, follow the owner’s emergency instructions, and keep them informed throughout.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, starting with my family’s cat Bella and our goldendoodle Triscuit (who, yes, was just as lovable as her snack-sized name suggests). Growing up with both a cat and a dog taught me how to adapt to different pet personalities, whether that means entertaining an energetic pup or respecting a cat’s need for their royal personal space. Since then, I’ve cared for all kinds of cats and dogs. Making them feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their humans are away. Whether it's playing around the house, going for nature walks, or simply existing in each other's company, I make sure every pet gets the attention they deserve. Animals tend to warm up to me quickly, and I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away For me, pet sitting isn’t just about responsibility, it’s something I genuinely enjoy. Taking care of pets while traveling makes the experience even better, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your home and furry friends with care, respect, and maybe a little extra belly-rubbing, I’d love to help! My routine is usually quite flexible so I adapt to the needs of the pets I am with. Usually that means a walk and or play time in the morning, afternoon, and evening. At home, I keep things clean, organized, and well cared for. I bring that same level of care when staying in someone else’s home, making sure everything stays tidy, plants stay happy, and your space looks just as good, if not better, than when you left. Basically, you’ll come home to a well-kept house and a happy pet.
