“Tassia has taken care of our four pets on three occasions and we plan on continuing to hire her. She’s incredibly quick to respond, doesn’t hesitate to ask questions about care instructions and reads our really long instructions throughly. I know this because she read them the day before the pet sitting date and followed up quickly. That really brings me a sense of relief since we have an older geriatric dog that needs a lot of pills, diaper changes and help going down the stairs. Our pets love her too. When she came by to return the keys once our dog Izzy immediate recognized her and couldn’t contain herself. If you are a pet owner with a lot of anxiety leaving your pets alone for vacation, you will be in good hands with Tassia.”

“Sol was wonderful. They communicated well each day and gave regular check ins. Our pup looked happy and well cared for while we were out of town. They were also very respectful of our home and left it better than they found it. Will definitely book with Sol again.”

“Michelle was great house sitting for our two dogs while we were away for a long weekend. She was communicative, caring, and left the house super clean! Trustworthy and will use again!”

“Natalie is awesome. She watched our senior cat and gave him meds and he even came out of hiding to greet her. Plus kept our crazy doodle happy. Lots of feedback and pictures. Booking her again before someone else beats us to it!!”

“Jade was awesome, she stayed the weekend at our place and took care of our senior golden lab while we were away. I was a bit apprehensive since this was our first time leaving him with someone we had just met but Jade put us at ease and did a great job taking care of the Colt and the house, will book again!.”

“Dale is amazing! She's dependable, asks great questions in preparation, respected and took care of my place while she was here, sent photos of walks, was communicative about eating and toileting, and does a great job with working with Bentley even though he is leash reactive.”

“Diane was so wonderful house sitting with our two dogs for the weekend. Our dogs are truly a handful and she was great at minimizing their shenanigans and communication throughout the weekend. One of our dogs takes several pills and she was very comfortable helping with that and meeting his needs for some extra walks during the day. We are so thankful to have an extra helper in the area. Thank you Diane!”

“Becca took amazing care of our 5-year old female basenji while we were away. She communicated regularly and left the apartment in perfect shape. Would hire again without hesitation!”

“Natalia is a fantastic housesitter and cat whisperer! She handled my brave troublemaker and shy old lady with ease, sending pictures and comments every day. We were vacationing several time zones away in a place with limited cell phone service, and when things came up and we couldn’t connect immediately she just figured it out and handled it beautifully. We returned to a clean home and happy kitties. A++++++”

“Highly recommend Noah for housesitting. He took such great care of my pup and was very attentive to his needs. Sent lots of pictures and updates, which I love. And he left the apartment nice and clean when I came home!! Will definitely be booking with him again.”

“I had a great experience having Victoria watch my boy Ash. Her communication was excellent, she arrived on time, and took great care of Ash. I would happily have her watch him again!”

“Josh was awesome with Hunter. He’s a big scaredy cat but he seemed pretty normal and happy when I got home, so he must have bonded well. Thanks so much and I’ll be booking again this summer!”

“So glad we found Laura for our recent trip! She did such an amazing job with our senior dog and sent plenty of updates and pics. She was very professional and trustworthy!! We will definitely contact Laura again any time we need a sitter!”

“Allie was absolutely fantastic! She catsit my three cats in my home and was incredibly communicative and good to my cats. The cats had recently been introduced each other, so she had to perform additional work to get them to get along with each other. I came back to my cats getting along even better than before I left, and that's all due to how good Allie is with cats. She clearly has a lot of expertise from working with so many pets, and I couldn't recommend her more. I received so many cute photos of the cats while I was away.”

“Primrose was a great sitter! She took time out of her day to meet with us before our trip so we could introduce her to our dog, Jack. This was our first time having someone outside our close family and friends stay with him, so we were a bit anxious, but Primrose kept us updated throughout the whole weekend by sending photos and reassurance. We would definitely book with her again!”

“Sol was absolutely amazing. Our Dachshund can get very sad when we leave but I was happy to see Sol step in and immediately be so attentive towards him. She played with him till his heart was content, she sat down with him to feed him so he did not feel alone. Sol sent so many pictures as well as huge updates to let us know how he was doing. Sol is so patient and kind, and truly would be the best pet sitter for you.”

“Elise stayed at my place for five days to watch my cat. She was very responsive to my questions throughout my trip. She also came by beforehand to meet my cat who is usually shy but he quickly warmed up to her. She took good care of him and left my place very clean. Would happily recommend her!”

Central District pet parents share their Rover experiences
My old man-child who I have loved and cared for for over 20 years usually takes a few days to warm up to people. He immediately fell for Kennedy. She is a cat Mama, herself, and it is as if he instinctively knew that about her. She has that chill, peaceful vibe naturally that cats are drawn to. I am so thrilled with the way the two of them hit it off, and really....how much he trusts her is truly the most important thing. I can't recommend her highly enough!
Egor watched our two young aussies in our home for 7 days as they have never been away from my retired husband. He patiently worked them through their anxiety at their own pace, eventually getting them back into their regular routines. He sent honest updates each day, letting us know the challenges and wins. He followed our instructions and left the house looking clean and tidy. I would definitely have Egor watch our pups again in the future. Thank you for taking on the challenge of winning-over these two opinionated pups!
Mason was absolutely stellar with a large, grumpy dog! I am always hesitant about who I let watch Salem. He’s a big, somewhat particular dog, who doesn’t understand the concept of personal space. He can be inadvertently intimidating. But Mason was incredible with Salem. He was attentive, sent pictures throughout the night, kept me clued in throughout the evening, and was a perfect house guest on top of everything else. I look forward to inviting Mason back to watch Salem again, many more times! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Stephanie was an absolute delight to have stay with our pets. We had a sitter fall through last minute and she was quick to respond and set up a meet and greet. Our dog and cat liked her right away! She was highly communicative and sent lots of photos - she also spoiled our dog! And she even spotted our “hider” cat even on just a one-night stay which is rare. I felt completely at ease knowing she was watching our pets and I will definitely be booking her again when we need help.

Adrian was amazing with our 2 pups who struggle with new people! He was patient and very sensitive to their needs while we were traveling for 2 weeks and they now love him as if he was part of the family. Highly-recommend for anyone with shy or sensitive doggos!

Levi took great care of my kitten, Ghibli, while I was overseas. This was the first time I’d left Ghibli with someone else, so I was a bit nervous, but Levi made it easy. He sent photos and updates, communicated well, followed all my instructions, and left my place tidy. You can tell he genuinely loves animals, and Ghibli seemed to really like him. I’d definitely book Levi again and would happily recommend him to others.

Mandy was wonderful and we are very happy with our experience. She was very communicative throughout, and shared several updates including photos while we were away. As a first time sitter, Mandy took the time to truly get to know our dog, spent lots of quality time with her, and did not leave her alone for long. Finally, she left our home spotless and in great condition. We’d highly recommend Mandy to anyone looking for a caring, responsible pet sitter.
