“Maria is a superb sitter! She took excellent care of my little Tanner. She adheres to a daily routine including feeding and walking, is super responsive with communication, and has a safe home. I felt very much at ease that Tanner was in good hands, was safe, had fun, and was well cared for. You can tell she loves what she does!”

“Another fantastic stay with Maria and Kalyan! We were hosting a large gathering with friends and wanted to avoid the food temptations for our pup, Murphy. He got extra TLC with Maria and Kalyan while we were able to host a stress free evening. It was a win for everyone! Many thanks to Maria and Kalyan for their 5 star care. 🙏🏻”

“Kirsten was wonderful! She was calm, experienced, and reassuring from introduction to pickup—everything an anxious dog mom needs. I could tell my girl had a great time meeting new friends and was well cared for! She’s a social pup, so it was comforting to know she had a whole pack (dog and human) to be with. Thank you!”

“Richard took care of our dog for a week. He sent us pictures and videos of our dog everyday and she looked very comfortable and relaxed at his house. We were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying :)”

“Thank you. So. Much..... Jeremy. For. Having." Pomp " & sending me pictures. "Pomp" looked so at home. As he was at your house.. hope " pomp " can visit you Again. ??”
“Daisha and her husband are kind and welcoming! I knew my dogs were safe and comfortable. It was so helpful to have them stay with her. I loved the picture updates. I would highly recommend Daisha to friends and family who need a great home for their dogs to receive excellent care.”

“Molly was great! We got plenty of updates and pictures throughout the day. One of our boys is slow to warm up and can be grumbly/barky with new people and she was very patient with him and both dogs seemed to have a great time!”

“Colleen was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was warm, kind, and sent lots of updates. I felt safe leaving my fur daughter with her and would definitely go back. Thanks, Colleen! ❤️”

“Jennifer was one of the best hosts we’ve used on Rover. She was flexible and responsive when it came to organizing a meet and greet with her Junebug. She responds instantly, there’s no waiting to hear back from Jennifer. She’s got a great fenced backyard for the dogs. We will definitely rebook with her again!”

“Kimiko was the best dog sitter we have ever had for our dog. She sent lots of updates with both text and photos. Our dog clearly had a great time! We will definitely hire her again.”

“Gregg was wonderful at caring for our dog Koda over the weekend! He was easy to communicate with prior to Koda's stay -- we set up a meet-and-greet to make sure they were a good fit, and he took notes to make sure he understood Koda's needs and quirks. During her weekend at his home, he sent great photos and updates to show they were both enjoying each others' company. Koda seemed really happy and well cared-for, and we would look forward to having Gregg watch Koda again in the future. Thanks so much!”

“We contacted Tamar & Amy with short notice and with tentative boarding or daycare needs. They accommodated us with patience and helped us navigate changing schedules. Our dog Murphy is a little shy so it was great to get regular picture updates to see she was enjoying her time away from us! We really appreciate this option knowing our dog is safe and happy (and being so close to the airport is great)!”

“Brenda is awesome. She gave our two pups the BEST weekend while we were gone. Brenda goes above and beyond, and we will 1,000% be calling her again. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Brenda!!”

“Meredith is super sweet! Her and her dog Edgar made sure my dog Scrappy was comfortable. My baby had a blast playing with Edgar and cuddling with Meredith! She is a great communicator and would send me pictures! I will definitely be leaving scrappy with them again!”

“Our pups looked perfectly at home in the many photos we received of them. Their hosts did a wonderful job of taking care of their needs and braving the cold weather to make sure they got plenty of exercise. Thanks again!”

About: I've loved and cared for dogs for 20+ years — and it's the senior and high-needs ones that have shaped me most as a caretaker. I've worked professionally as a dog walker and sitter, volunteered on a farm tending to sheep, pigs, and cows, and have logged years of animal care across a wide variety of contexts. My focus and true passion is senior and high-needs dogs. I currently care for Momo, my 11-year-old mini poodle rescue, who requires daily medication, mobility support, and consistent patience with separation anxiety rooted in past trauma. I'm fully comfortable managing medication schedules, specialized diets, and the kind of attentive, adaptive care that older or more complex dogs require. I also guided my previous dog, an Old English Sheepdog, through her full senior journey — including dementia-informed reactivity, significant mobility challenges, and all the nuanced day-to-day care that came with loving a big dog through her final chapter. I share my home with two poodles: Momo, and Stormy — a big, friendly 7-year-old standard who loves meeting new dogs and is equally happy to give them space if that's what they need. Stormy splits his time between my home and family nearby, so his presence varies by stay. I now work from home in a different field, and pet care is my way of staying connected to the animals I love. Your dog gets calm, present, unhurried attention from someone who is genuinely home — and genuinely invested. Senior dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs who need a little extra are especially welcome here! I work from home the majority of the week, so I'm present and available throughout most days. I'm typically in office one to two days a week — usually Wednesdays and/or Thursdays — for roughly 8 hours. Outside of those days, I'm home and attentive during business hours and fully available on evenings and weekends. I have a fully fenced yard, a one-story layout with no stairs to navigate — especially important for senior or mobility-limited dogs — and gate separation available so visiting dogs can be in the mix while still having their own space. Crates are available if needed. I keep pet cameras throughout the home so I can monitor remotely on the rare occasion I'm out. All dogs have dedicated feeding stations and I'm happy to accommodate varying meal times and dietary needs. Animal CPR documentation is posted in the home, an emergency vet is less than a mile away, and I have reliable transportation should anything come up.

“There is a reason for Erica’s high reviews and frequent returning customers. This person has dedicated their life and home to providing quality care for your pet. Normally we take our dog with us on trips, but in the cases where we cannot, there is no one else we’d rather leave our little one with. Flexible, thoughtful, and easy to work with. Thank you Erica for another great service for our dog.”

“Ashley was awesome! I had major oral surgery and needed him cared for so I could heal without having to worry about my dogs care and she took such good care of my migi and sent me lots of updates and photos in the 6 nights she had him. She was very accommodating as well when we needed to change or do things differently in migi’s favor. Will def book her again in the future! Highly recommend 10/10.”

Our older dog can be anxious when she's outside of her routine, but Jennie's calm demeanor helped her to feel comfortable. Jennie's home is also very relaxing and the neighborhood is perfect for walks throughout the day. We look forward to booking Jennie's services again soon!

Daisha and Tam did a fantastic job caring for Arthur. We received daily updates and photos, which we loved seeing during our travels. Daisha was always available if we had questions, which gave us extra peace of mind. It was clear from the start that Arthur was in very capable hands, and we look forward to booking with her again for future traveling. Arthur had the best time, a true home away from home!

Our dogs had a great time with Tyler and Alexis! Tyler and Alexis sent updates twice a day along with lots of great photos. One of our dogs had never stayed with a sitter before and we weren't sure how she would do- when we picked her up, she seemed reluctant to leave! We can't wait to have Tyler and Alexis sit for us again in the future.

Jo took great care of Luna over the July 4th weekend. She was initially anxious to be left (she always is) but Jo took her for a walk to put her at ease and helped her settle in. She was in happy and good spirits when I picked her up. We loved getting the pictures and updates! We will book with Jo again!

Once again, Laissa did an outstanding job caring for Banjo while we were away for 10 days. Lots of adventures and great one-on-one care. We greatly value the peace of mind Laissa gives us while we are away, and will continue to trust her with Banjo on future trips.

Adejia took such good care of my dog while I was away on vacation - Rumi is a high energy dog and not the best on the leash and she was kind enough to take her to the off leash park a bunch. Her and Kona got along great and made great playmates! I got pictures everyday and was confident my dog was in good hands :) Thanks again!

Holly is a wonderful caretaker for our two energetic and spunky little dogs!! Birdie and Violet stayed at Holly’s for just over a week and had a fun time running around her cool yard and sunbathing outside. Holly kept us updated and shared sweet photos of our pups enjoying their time at her home. They are so cared for by Holly and we are so grateful to have connected with her via Rover. Thank you again for watching our girls, Holly!!!

Jennifer was awesome from start to finish with Ginkgo!!! We were a little nervous leaving Ginkgo for two weeks as she had some separation anxiety in the past. But Jennifer made sure this didn’t happen as she had her dog and a few other visitors keep Ginkgo occupied during that time. Jennifer was so nice to send us pictures almost every day showing how happy Ginkgo was. We were so fortunate to have Jennifer take care of Ginkgo and would absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants the very best care for their dog.
Jonathan is a fantastic sitter who took such good care of our old special needs pup, Newton. Newton poses challenges and Jonathan was polite and courteous even after some soiling occurred. I really couldn't ask more of a sitter and Newton was relaxed and joyful when he came home. H8s boarding space for pups is lovely. Highly highly recommended!

Alexis is truly the best dog sitter on Rover!!! She took the best care of our boy Huey, sent us 10+ photos a day of him living his best life at dog parks, long walks, hanging at their place, and everywhere else they went together. I can't reccommend her enough, truly the best dog sitter around. Feel like our dog was genuinely sad to leave.

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Miriam and her sweet pup, Betty! Her communication was prompt and clear, her demeanor calm and caring, and she clearly loves animals. From the moment Rocky met her, he felt comfortable and safe (and he is an anxious boy)! Miriam sent pictures and ensured we knew Rocky and Betty were having a good time together.

Maria & Kalyan are always quick to respond to requests which I appreciate, as we booked a short notice day trip over a weekend! I appreciate their regular updates and pictures on how Luna is doing, especially considering that this was the first time she stayed overnight at their place. :) I truly feel like they love and care for Luna as if she were their own dog. Thank you for being so patient with Luna, making sure she is taken care of and feels safe and loved. I appreciate you going on so many walks despite the weather being rainy/not the best at times. It has been sweet to see her get more comfortable with each visit.
