“Thank you for taking excellent care of Plum!! It was a big help knowing she was in great hands with people who care about her. She’s looking forward to returning! Thank you!”

“Laila was responsive, sent videos and pictures, and was super kind and friendly to our pup Miyagi. She was also very accommodating when our flight back was canceled and our dog had to stay with her longer than we originally planned. She was great with him and we would absolutely reach out to her again to watch our dog.”

“Tu helped me with a last minute boarding request, thank you for accommodating and being flexible The communication during the stay could have been more prompt, I was expecting updates from their side as they posted in their profile but I had to ask for an update every time and during the first day of boarding I received a reply 4-5 hours after leaving me extremely worried.”

“My dog couldn’t have had more fun than Martha’s house. She’s a spunky loving puppy who clearly thrived in Martha’s care, and made my first experience having to board a family pet for the first time so easy.”

“Having your pup stay with Jennifer is amazing. I really appreciated the meet and greet prior to setting up time with her. Then we booked a practice day before leaving her overnight for a long weekend. We have never left our dog with anyone before and we felt really comfortable she was in a cozy spot. There were little dog beds all over the living room and Jennifer said it was okay for her to sleep in her bed too. She sent some cute photos while we were gone. And the second time we came, our little one was happy to go in. Now we feel more flexibility to leave our dog while we take a trip in future!”

“Malvika & her family were fantastic sitters! They were very attentive with her schedule & medication & provided ample photos (all whole album worth!) + lots playtime & company for her. Highly recommend & can’t wait to have Momo stay with them again!! 🥰”

“Molly was great! We got plenty of updates and pictures throughout the day. One of our boys is slow to warm up and can be grumbly/barky with new people and she was very patient with him and both dogs seemed to have a great time!”

“Sarah is an excellent sitter! We got daily and frequent updates on our pup and our pup got so cozy with Sarah that she felt at home and was happy to see us when we picked her up.”

“Leio and Leah and their family were amazing! They poured so much attention and affection to our dog and it's clear he loved every minute of it. They were communicative and provided great photos during our trip which we really loved as well. Would definitely return to for future sittings!”

“Daisha and her husband were amazing!! My dog Xena does best in a household where she is the only dog and I’m so glad we found Daisha! We did a first introduction about a week or two before the dates booked so they could meet and get familiar with each other which went well. While Xena was boarded they sent pictures and updates at least once a day explaining how she was doing and adjusting. Thankfully Xena was comfortable and there were no problems but I’m certain if there was, we would be able to find a solution. Overall I am extremely happy I booked with Daisha and her husband and would definitely book again!!”
“Elise and James have boarded our girls twice now and we’ve booked them again for an upcoming trip. They take great care of them, send daily updates, and clearly love dogs. Couldn’t ask for better sitters!”

“Our dog Ely stayed with Maureen over the long President's Day weekend. We've boarded our pets with the vet before and this is the first time we've used Rover. We were very happy with Ely in Maureen's care! She sent us daily pictures of Ely with reports on how she was doing. This made us feel at ease while we were away, knowing our little girl was being well taken care of. We will definitely book with Maureen again!”
“Maria is caring, intuitive, and very knowledgeable about dogs. My baby boy, Weegee, is almost 15 years old. He’s a chihuahua mix. His hearing isn’t great anymore and neither is his eyesight. He was welcomed into an active house of small dogs his size. Maria gave him his meds diligently while I was gone, and even took him to the vet while I was gone for blood in his urine. She did this on her own because I was camping with no cel service, WiFi service, internet, email, texting or communication of any kind. (She asked me through the Rover app what to do, but I didn’t get the messages.) She got him on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds, and made a VERY positive impression on my vet. She is a caring person who loves dogs. She even gave me some pill pockets to give him his meds at no charge. Highly recommended if you have a small dog. Be aware that she may be sitting other dogs as well.”

“This was first boarding experience at sitters home for my pet and Kenny took real good care and made sure to provide updates almost everyday and also provided good insight into my dogs behavior especially with another dog. Kenny also made sure to go one step above and made sure to accommodate my last minute pickup and drop off changes. I definitely recommend Kenny !!”

“Kirsten was such a wonderful and responsive sitter for our dog Winston. She returned him safe, healthy, and exhausted. He had such a great time playing with all the other dogs over at her place. We will definitely be using her again, I can't recommend her enough!”

About: I have cared for my own pug for over 13 years, so I understand the daily needs of dogs at different stages of life, including senior care. Our home environment is calm and comfortable, which works well for dogs that enjoy a relaxed setting. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so dogs staying with us receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. We also have a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed. Because we have a gentle senior pug at home, we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable place where dogs can relax and feel cared for while their owners are away. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so we are around throughout the day to give dogs attention, regular potty breaks, and walks. This also means dogs are rarely left alone for long periods of time. Our schedule is generally flexible, and we are able to accommodate regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, and walks throughout the day. “Brenda was a wonderful sitter for Penny! She was responsive, detail orientated, sent the best pictures, and I could tell she really cared about Pennys wellbeing! Would highly recommend.”

“Josh is hands down the best dog sitter we've ever had! He took incredible care of my dog, Moose, and treated him like his own. Josh was patient, attentive, and genuinely loving—it was clear from the start that he truly cares about animals. I got regular updates, photos, and could tell Moose was having a great time. It’s such a relief to know my dog is in such good hands. Can’t recommend Josh enough and we are stoked to have him dog sit in the near future!”

“She was amazing! She was so sweet to clean the litter box and litter genie. She also was very responsive and timely with photos of my Frubbles 🥰. My cat was so calm around her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Georgetown
Malvika and her family were absolutely amazing. This was without a doubt the best rover experience myself and my dog have had. She was very accommodating, responsive, and sent many pictures. My dog is very clearly missing her and her family. Could not recommend highly enough!!!

Nam provided excellent service. He was attentive and responsible. He followed all the instructions and showed genuine care for my dog. He sent lots of pictures and videos and my dog seemed happy to be there. Will definitely pick him first if I need to board my dog again!

Adejia took such good care of my dog while I was away on vacation - Rumi is a high energy dog and not the best on the leash and she was kind enough to take her to the off leash park a bunch. Her and Kona got along great and made great playmates! I got pictures everyday and was confident my dog was in good hands :) Thanks again!

Jennifer was awesome from start to finish with Ginkgo!!! We were a little nervous leaving Ginkgo for two weeks as she had some separation anxiety in the past. But Jennifer made sure this didn’t happen as she had her dog and a few other visitors keep Ginkgo occupied during that time. Jennifer was so nice to send us pictures almost every day showing how happy Ginkgo was. We were so fortunate to have Jennifer take care of Ginkgo and would absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants the very best care for their dog.
Jonathan is a fantastic sitter who took such good care of our old special needs pup, Newton. Newton poses challenges and Jonathan was polite and courteous even after some soiling occurred. I really couldn't ask more of a sitter and Newton was relaxed and joyful when he came home. H8s boarding space for pups is lovely. Highly highly recommended!

Leio and Leah and their family were amazing! They poured so much attention and affection to our dog and it's clear he loved every minute of it. They were communicative and provided great photos during our trip which we really loved as well. Would definitely return to for future sittings!

Alexis is truly the best dog sitter on Rover!!! She took the best care of our boy Huey, sent us 10+ photos a day of him living his best life at dog parks, long walks, hanging at their place, and everywhere else they went together. I can't reccommend her enough, truly the best dog sitter around. Feel like our dog was genuinely sad to leave.

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Miriam and her sweet pup, Betty! Her communication was prompt and clear, her demeanor calm and caring, and she clearly loves animals. From the moment Rocky met her, he felt comfortable and safe (and he is an anxious boy)! Miriam sent pictures and ensured we knew Rocky and Betty were having a good time together.

Stephanie was so so great!! We had to leave out of state last minute for a funeral and were caught in a tricky situation trying to find someone to care for our dog for an extended period of time. Stephanie was responsive, sent pictures every day, and just felt warm and caring overall. I very much appreciated her wanting our dogs to meet first to make sure it would be an okay match for everyone. Would absolutely, without a doubt, rebook with Stephanie again!! ❤️

Maria & Kalyan are always quick to respond to requests which I appreciate, as we booked a short notice day trip over a weekend! I appreciate their regular updates and pictures on how Luna is doing, especially considering that this was the first time she stayed overnight at their place. :) I truly feel like they love and care for Luna as if she were their own dog. Thank you for being so patient with Luna, making sure she is taken care of and feels safe and loved. I appreciate you going on so many walks despite the weather being rainy/not the best at times. It has been sweet to see her get more comfortable with each visit.

Isabelle was great! She attended a meet and greet ahead of our booking, was very responsive about our dog's first evening nervousness, and provided an overall low-key, relaxed experience. The yard was beautiful and had a reassuringly tall and solid fence. Our dog clearly had a great time, we would book with Isabelle again.
