I work from home in a very flexible job, so I have the time to look after your dog's unique needs. My goal is for your dogs to be as comfortable here as they are in your own home. They are welcome on furniture and have easy access to come in and out as they please. There is a big fenced in back yard to play in. If your dog needs a home away from home, we've got you covered!

Safety, trust & environment
You are the expert on your dog's unique needs, and I will follow your lead to provide your dogs with the care they need. I have a spacious, fully fenced-in back yard, and the dogs have free reign to visit the yard as much as they like each day. Dogs will also have free reign inside the house. If your dog's safe place is a crate, I'm happy to work with that. I have a crate I can set up for them, or you can bring your own. There are lots of cozy dog beds, sofas, blankets, and toys.

Information Meredith C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs that I should be aware of (diet, meds, behavior challenges, etc.). I will work with you to accommodate those needs or let you know if I think I will be unable to meet your dog's needs. My highest priority is the safety of all the dogs in my care, and communication with you is an important part of that!
A typical day
We start the day with going into the back yard so the doggos can potty and sniff. When they are ready to come inside, I will give them breakfast. I can separate the dogs during meals if needed. After breakfast, the dogs can play inside or outside together while I'm working - I usually leave the door to the back yard open for them to come and go at their leisure unless its too cold out. I usually take a break sometime during the work day to go outside with all the dogs and throw balls for fetch or play another game. I have AC to keep all of us cool on hot days, and I sometimes set up a sprinkler in the yard for them to play in. After my work day ends (usually by 4pm), we walk in the neighborhood or visit the dog park if your dog enjoys that. Then dinner, then a little more time outside before bed.

Your Dog's Home Away from Home
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, I have been a dog parent to two sweet puppies in my adult life, and I have fostered many sweet puppies over the years. To me, they're all sweet puppies, regardless of their ages. My 5-year old dog Edgar loves to hang with other dogs - he's never met a person or dog he didn't like. When your dog visits us, they become one of the pack, enjoying all the things that make this house a home.
Reviews

My two dogs, Coco and Coors, stayed with Meredith for five days of boarding at her home. I reached out less than 12 hours before leaving town, and she replied within minutes and accepted our request. She made everything super easy. I loved getting photo and message updates while we were gone. Meredith clearly loves dogs, and her home is perfect for them, with comfy dog‑friendly furniture and a big yard. When I picked up my pups, they were relaxed and clearly well cared for. I’d absolutely book with Meredith again and recommend her to anyone looking for care for their dogs.

We have used Meredith multiple times - she takes great care of Izzy, is super responsive and communicative, took Izzy on short notice and was flexible to extend the booking when our flight was delayed! Highly recommend Meredith!

Meredith was absolutely a wonderful fit for our dog, Shadow! She sent multiple pictures of Shadow, and shared messages updating me with how he was doing. Meredith was fun to talk with and Shadow was very happy when I picked him up. I look forward to the next time Meredith watches our little Shadow :)

Meredith was a wonderful help watching Hazel for me for a weekend away. Hazel came home calm and played-out, ready for a nap and some snuggles.
