I have also lived with cats throughout my life and have spent more than five years caring for two special-needs cats of my own. One of my cats has one eye and some spatial sensitivities. About: Hello! I have been dog and cat sitting for at least 20 years and have several active clients in Seattle currently. I have previously worked for a dog walking and sitting business in Maryland. I have cared for puppies from 6 months through to senior, special needs pups. While no one enjoys it, I am comfortable giving pills, injections, and other medications to both cats and dogs. In my dog walking business I have walked up to four pups at the same time. I love to go on long walks, even in the rain and wind, and can throw a ball for hours! I will take care of your home and your pup with the utmost respect and love. I am a home owner with two kitties and a toddler. We are working on getting them all comfortable with dogs but for the time being we can only subject them to guests for 4 days in a row max (or they may never forgive us). While I haven't found the perfect pup for my life yet, I am very excited to be able to share my house with dogs of all ages for short stints while I'm searching. I work from home and can let pups out to go to the bathroom as needed. I love a lunch walk to get me ready for the afternoon. I have a fenced yard and a patch of grass for regular bathroom breaks. The staircase is gated so we’re always within eyeshot of any canine visitors.

About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.

I am familiar with administrating medicine, pill and oral syringes. I ensure it is easy and stress free for your fur baby. I love to be outdoors and get my steps so why not have a buddy to tag along! I also have experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, and adapting my care to meet special needs. Whether your animal needs gentle reassurance or playful companionship, I am here to offer compassionate, personalized care that respects and supports their unique journey. Pet care is a significant part of my life, and I have set aside time in my schedule to provide attentive and compassionate care on weekends, Mondays, and Tuesdays. I am available Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For an additional fee, I am also available to work on Wednesdays through Fridays starting after 9:00 a.m. I offer flexibility on weekends if extra care is needed, as well as overnight stays and holiday care upon request. By focusing my care on these specific days, I can give each animal my full attention, patience, and love, ensuring a positive and supportive experience every time we are together. Every pet deserves to feel safe, respected, and comfortable in their environment. Whether I'm caring for pets in my own home or in a client's home, I prioritize creating a calm, structured, and positive space tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets enjoy enrichment activities such as lick mats, playtime, and plenty of cuddles throughout the day. I have a fully fenced backyard with 6+ foot tall fences for safe outdoor play and private areas where dogs can rest undisturbed if they need a break from other animals. Every animal is welcome on the couch for snuggles and is encouraged to feel at home. I utilize gentle, positive reinforcement and maintain clear, consistent routines to help pets feel secure. For animals with fear, anxiety, or a history of trauma, I prioritize slow introductions, patience, and fear-free handling to build trust at their own pace. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, ensuring that pets' surroundings remain familiar and stress-free. I follow instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and behavior protocols closely, maintaining consistency and safety. I am also attentive to environmental safety—checking gates, securing leashes, and removing hazards—and I communicate regularly with pet parents to provide peace of mind. My goal is always to provide gentle, reliable care that fosters trust and confidence in both pets and their humans.

“We gotta say, we’ve had rover sitters before (some good, some not so good) but Gregg by far has exceeded all of our expectations. We asked him beforehand if he was okay with one of our reactive and pulley dogs, and he said he was. We set up a meet and greet before booking and both our dogs took to Gregg immediately. He just had such a kind, warm demeanor to him, and although we had other meet and greets scheduled throughout the week, no one even came close to Gregg. The booking itself was exactly what we thought it would be — amazing. Gregg was very communicative, with constant updates/photos/videos throughout the day, was very attentive towards both of our dogs needs, kept them engaged throughout their stay, followed all instructions on feeding/walking times, and even kept a close eye on one of our dogs paw chewing. When we came to pick them up, it was very clear they had a blast with Gregg, and even bonded with him as well!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and because of that, we are just so grateful to have found him!!! He is going to be our go-to sitter going forward, and we know our dogs can’t wait for their next adventure with Gregg!!!”

When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

“Elle and fam were wonderful, they kept me updated on their goings-on with texts and photos, and she’s got a sense of humor in her captions! I was relieved to know that they were very familiar with elder dog care and had two cutie furbies of their own. My eldest dog hadn’t been displaying much of an appetite when I returned from my last trip during which they stayed at a kennel, this time he had increased his daily intake to nearly pre-kennel levels while in their care. My dogs showed no signs of distress and my lab made himself at home as soon as we walked through their front door. I highly recommend them to anyone regardless of your dog breed or age. Plus, you can’t beat the attention provided by someone who works from home. It was an all around excellent fit!”
