“Millie had another fantastic sleep away camp experience with Nikko and co. She truly did not want to leave at the end! The videos and photos we always receive makes me 100% confident that she is so loved during her time with Maria and Kalyan. And she LOVES Nikko and all the other daycare visitors she gets to meet. A big thank you as always!”

“Maria was amazing with my dog Comet! He had such a good time with her and her dogs! He was wagging his tail both when I dropped him off. I look forward to having him stay with her again!”

Upon coming home, I could tell Biscuit was really relaxed and himself straight away, which is always a great sign. We are looking forward to Biscuit’s next stay!”

“Daisha and Tam did a fantastic job caring for Arthur. We received daily updates and photos, which we loved seeing during our travels. Daisha was always available if we had questions, which gave us extra peace of mind. It was clear from the start that Arthur was in very capable hands, and we look forward to booking with her again for future traveling. Arthur had the best time, a true home away from home!”

“Colleen was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was warm, kind, and sent lots of updates. I felt safe leaving my fur daughter with her and would definitely go back. Thanks, Colleen! ❤️”

“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”

“Brenda took wonderful care of our dog, Zelda, during our 4 day trip. Zelda can be a finicky eater and also chews up paper, so leaving her with a caring and attentive Rover really helps us be able to travel with ease. Zelda did great under Brenda's care, and came home happy and healthy. I definitely recommend booking with Brenda and will rebook in the future! Thank you so much!”

“Kirsten is amazing, she is super accommodating, actually cared for our needs and wants and was super quick to respond and provides photo updates. Our dog has separation anxiety and it isn't easy finding someone we think would be a good fit. 6 stars if I could, we have already booked again!”

“Our dog had a great time during his stay with Miriam. She sent pics every day. Our fur baby also enjoyed hanging out with his new friend Betty (Miriam’s dog)! He was all puckered out when we picked him up. We will definitely reach out to Miriam in the future and highly recommend her!”
“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

“Rich is such a wonderful sitter. I know that my pup will be loved and cuddled as much as he needs (which is ALL THE TIME). We got lots of updates and Rich was very attentive to medications and medical needs. Can’t recommend him highly enough.”

“Valerie was awesome and kept me updated with cute pictures and thorough updates on how my cat was doing. Very trustworthy and diligent, I’ll book again when I need cat care!”

About: My affinity for felines began when I was just a wee kid. I was always fascinated by them and strived to learn about them, which helped me be at the forefront for my friends and family to take care of their young ones if they ever had to leave for vacation or whatever life has to throw at you. I've had the pleasure of taking care of antisocial cats, the shy and curious cats, and the snuggly and affectionate cats, whichever kind of cat will feel respected and safe as they are under my supervision and care.

“I've always had a great experience with Maura. She is punctual and takes care of my cats really well. Both my cats are very comfortable around her (even my introverted and scared cat). I love that she sends a detailed message about the cats along with pictures after every check in.”

“Haley was wonderful and I felt that from our first meet and greet. The cats seemed to trust her immediately, which is great. I didn’t have any issues when I came home, and my cats were happy and healthy. Highly recommend Haley, and I am so glad to have found my new go-to sitter!”

About: I have cared for cats since I was eight years old, when I began helping neighbors with their pets. I have also lived with cats throughout my life and have spent more than five years caring for two special-needs cats of my own. One of my cats has one eye and some spatial sensitivities. With patience, consistency, and gentle encouragement, she has grown from a very shy cat who hid whenever she could into a confident, playful, and wonderfully talkative companion. I genuinely enjoy earning a shy cat’s trust, learning their boundaries, and allowing them to become comfortable at their own pace. My other cat has diabetes, so I am experienced with administering insulin injections twice a day and carefully following an established feeding and medication schedule. I am also comfortable giving pills and liquid medications by syringe. I have experience caring for kittens, adult cats, seniors, and cats with additional needs. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, litter-box habits, mobility, and overall comfort. I follow each cat’s individual routine closely and provide regular updates so their family can feel reassured while they are away. Whether a cat wants playtime and conversation or prefers quiet companionship and plenty of personal space, I will meet them where they are and help them feel safe and comfortable in my care.
“Katherine did a wonderful job of letting me know when she was on the way to my place and gave me phenomenal updates while there. Took care of my cat exceptionally well and followed all of the care instructions. My cat felt comfortable with her without me there too! 10000/10 will be booking again. :)”

“Aaron was easy to work with, communicative, and sent great photos of playtime with our cat. Our dog was home for the meet and greet and also decided he was a friend. :) would highly recommend to cat or dog parents alike!”

“Alexis is a fantastic cat sitter! She was even able to get our super shy cat out of hiding a few times which most cat sitters are unable to do, especially the first time they watch him. She clearly has a passion for animals so I knew our cat was in great hands while we were gone. We will definitely book Alexis again - she was an absolute pleasure to work with! Thank you, Alexis! 😸”

“Brandi did an amazing job with our two young ragdolls. I would give her 10/10 in literally every category - communication, updates, photos, cleanliness, directions - everything was amazing. I am usually very anxious about leaving them, but Brandi put us at ease entirely. Would book her every time if I could.”

“Lisa was amazing! She took such wonderful care of Luna while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Luna had someone kind and attentive checking in on her. Luna was happy, relaxed, and clearly enjoyed having the company. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely book with Lisa again. Highly recommend!”

About: I have cared for my own pug for over 13 years, so I understand the daily needs of dogs at different stages of life, including senior care. Our home environment is calm and comfortable, which works well for dogs that enjoy a relaxed setting. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so dogs staying with us receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. We also have a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed. Because we have a gentle senior pug at home, we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable place where dogs can relax and feel cared for while their owners are away. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so we are around throughout the day to give dogs attention, regular potty breaks, and walks. This also means dogs are rarely left alone for long periods of time. Our schedule is generally flexible, and we are able to accommodate regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, and walks throughout the day. Because we are home most of the time, we can keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure they are comfortable and well cared for. We provide a calm, safe home environment for dogs. We have a gentle senior pug who is very used to sharing space with other dogs, so we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. Our house has a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed, and we also take dogs out for regular walks. We usually host only one guest dog at a time so we can focus on their comfort and make sure they feel relaxed and well cared for during their stay.
“They were excellent hosts, clearly our lil guy had such a nice time with them, I’ll definitely reach out to them if I were in town again, and need someone to take care of Olaf! The entire family engaged with Olaf and kept him company, can’t recommend them enough!”

“Elle and Scott are amazing, and really made my life so much easier when I started working. My dog is nervous and timid around new people and they really took the time to make him feel comfortable. My dog loves to go to their house and gets to play with other dogs all day. By time I pick him up he is ready to go straight to bed.”
“Pepe always loves hanging out with bowser, Tien and Jeanyee. They send frequent photos/videos and updates throughout the day too. It’s great to know he’s so well cared for while I’m at work”

“Maria was wonderful with my senior dog! She was great at communicating and was so thoughtful with how to make my dog as comfortable as possible in her home. Will definitely work with Maria again!”

About: Hello! I have been dog and cat sitting for at least 20 years and have several active clients in Seattle currently. I have previously worked for a dog walking and sitting business in Maryland. I have cared for puppies from 6 months through to senior, special needs pups. While no one enjoys it, I am comfortable giving pills, injections, and other medications to both cats and dogs. In my dog walking business I have walked up to four pups at the same time. I love to go on long walks, even in the rain and wind, and can throw a ball for hours! I will take care of your home and your pup with the utmost respect and love. I am a home owner with two kitties and a toddler. We are working on getting them all comfortable with dogs but for the time being we can only subject them to guests for 4 days in a row max (or they may never forgive us). While I haven't found the perfect pup for my life yet, I am very excited to be able to share my house with dogs of all ages for short stints while I'm searching. I work from home and can let pups out to go to the bathroom as needed. I love a lunch walk to get me ready for the afternoon. I have a fenced yard and a patch of grass for regular bathroom breaks. The staircase is gated so we’re always within eyeshot of any canine visitors.

“Chris has been absolutely amazing. I just moved from across the country with one of my three dogs, and he has been having a hard time adjusting to apartment life (aka screaming his head off). After I got an email from my property manager after my first day of work I was frantically looking for a sitter for the next day. Chris was not only able to accommodate Casper the following day after my request, but also last minute on a weekend for an event I was hosting. I cannot thank Chris enough for his help and for putting up with some of Casper’s antics.”

“Tu was absolutely fantastic with my girl Reggie. After drop off she sent me an update to let me know how she was adjusting to a new place and throughout the day I got pics of my bestie having her new adventure. Would 100% book again!!”

About: I cared for my own two cats for over 5 years (they’ve since passed), and I’ve always loved being around animals. I’ve lived with dogs (thanks to dog-loving roommates and family) and I’ve dog-sat for friends for many years. I’m an expert cuddler, feeder, walker, and all-around caretaker. Whether your pup loves playtime or prefers a calm, cozy environment, I’ll treat them like family. I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company, we make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. I’m especially great with affectionate dogs and seniors who need a little extra care and patience. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs while you’re away! (Additional note: I’m happy to board larger dogs, as long as they’re older and super mellow. As a short woman, I just want to make sure I can stay in control on walks, and with small kids at home, I’m mindful about dogs who won’t jump up or accidentally knock them over.) I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company and they will get lots of love & attention. We make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. Overnight Stays: We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. Doggy Daycare: Happy to host your dog during the weekdays, and provide plenty of cuddles, company, and walks. In my home, your dog will be treated like family! They’re free to roam the house, lounge on the furniture, and cuddle up with us. We have a large, almost fully fenced yard with plenty of space to explore and play (while we keep a close eye during outside time just in case). We also have great walking paths nearby for daily strolls. Whether it’s playtime, nap time, or cuddle time, your pup will get lots of attention and love throughout the day.

“Our dog Midge loved spending the day with Kirsten and her dog Bear! Kirsten was very thorough with her meet and greet and listened to us explain all of Midge's little quirks. Midge was tired and happy after a long walk and romping around the yard with her doggie pals. You can tell Kirsten and her family are total dog people and will take care of your own doggo as if it were their own. We're planning to use Kirsten for more day care and overnight stays in the future!”

About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.
“Finn loves going over to William’s house! He always has fun with the dogs that are there. I appreciate that William doesn’t take more than 4 dogs at a time Finn gets all the attention he needs…and he needs quite a lot. William is communicative, kind and reliable. He is great with dogs. I will continue to bring Finn there whenever I’m in need.”

“Nancy is great! She is clearly very good with dogs, and I appreciate that she has experience with handling large, leash-reactive dogs. She was communicative and shared pictures and an update on how the walk went. I recommend her and would definitely hire again. Thanks!”

Every animal is welcome on the couch for snuggles and is encouraged to feel at home. I utilize gentle, positive reinforcement and maintain clear, consistent routines to help pets feel secure. For animals with fear, anxiety, or a history of trauma, I prioritize slow introductions, patience, and fear-free handling to build trust at their own pace. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, ensuring that pets' surroundings remain familiar and stress-free. I follow instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and behavior protocols closely, maintaining consistency and safety. My goal is always to provide gentle, reliable care that fosters trust and confidence in both pets and their humans.

“Meredith is super sweet! Her and her dog Edgar made sure my dog Scrappy was comfortable. My baby had a blast playing with Edgar and cuddling with Meredith! She is a great communicator and would send me pictures! I will definitely be leaving scrappy with them again!”

“Audra, Andrew, and Cooper always give Bongo so much love and affection! They are wonderful sitters that treat him like their own. Their love for Bongo really shows!”

“Randsell was an amazing sitter. My dog was so well taken care of, monitored, and loved. I would absolutely recommend her to watch your dog. She clearly has a passion for dogs, and she is always keeping them entertained and sending photos and videos along the way. Thank you for taking such good care of her! I hope to book with Randsell again soon :-)”

“Jeremy was incredible with our two babies. He went above and beyond to make sure they felt welcomed, loved and comfortable while we were out of town. He took them for fun daily adventures, and when we returned they almost didn’t want to leave with us. It was clear they had the best time! 1000% recommend; and will definitely be using again! Thanks Jeremy!”
“Joshua is always so attentive to our little guy! He gives regular updates, takes multiple walks, and even had a rain jacket for our guy that we didn't pack. He is prepared for things you may have missed. This is our third time booking with Joshua, and Geddy loves him! We are so fortunate to be able to have our guy spend time with a dog lover! Thanks again, Joshua!”

“Joe was great! Cory (our dog) came back super relaxed so I know he had a great stay. Joe sent lots of videos, and had a quick response time. We had a last minute change in plans and needed to stay a day early due to covid and he quickly responded and helped us find a way to make it happen, thanks Joe!”

“Camp Matt’s was awesome.. My pups had a great week free styling with other dogs... Matt was so personable... I got a multitude of daily photos as well as really nice well wishes for the activities we were involved in for the week.. Matt will definately be our go to Rover while visiting Seattle.. If you don’t want your dog to roll with the pack, play and get a bit dirty.. he may not be for you.. but if you want your dogs to be distracted while your away and have a free play dog park experience and know that right down the street from him is a You wash Dog store for a quick clean up.. Then Matt’s the Man.. Thanks Matt for a great week!”

“This was our first time using Rover, and Elan was absolutely amazing with Yoda while we were out of town for 6 days. She provided regular picture updates, and you could genuinely tell he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. The last couple times we used traditional kennel boarding, Yoda came home very depressed and stressed. This experience was completely different. With Elan, it truly felt like he was staying with family. We came home to a happy dog, and that gave us so much peace of mind while traveling. We would absolutely trust her with Yoda again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring and dependable.”

“My dogs were cared for in a very professional manager. Sena and her son take care of the dogs together. I left my two pit bulls with them and they had the comfort of their own room for the duration of the booking. I received frequent updates on the status of my dogs and pics and videos. I was glad to get back to them but had no problem leaving them in her care! Highly recommend.”
