Hi, we’re Maria and Kalyan! We have been taking care of dogs since childhood from puppies to adults. Kalyan works from home & Maria is a small business owner with a flexible schedule so there is always someone at home full time. We started rover because it is rewarding for us and our pup Nikko-he loves having other dogs to play with during the day. We pay attention to each dog personally and make sure that we are taking care of their individual needs. We live in a pet friendly townhome in Seattle which has a small unfenced front yard and small fenced deck in the back. We are centrally located close to west crest dog park! As dog parents, we totally understand how many “specific” things can go into taking care of your pup. We would love to know all the details to make sure that your fur baby has the best time during his/her stay.

Maria and Kaylan are the perfect pup sitters . We were nervous having to leave our 5 month old Golden Retriever for 12 days for our destination wedding … but we couldn’t have asked for a more amazing couple to care for our girl ! We were able to enjoy our wedding without any worry whatsoever because we had constant pup updates , her needs as a young puppy were met and she got to socialise so much with new friends for the week. It felt like we had left her at a super fun summer camp and we know she’s enjoyed every second of it!!!!
Maria and Kalyan are absolutely wonderful! Bodhi always has the best time with them and Nikko, and we feel completely at ease knowing he’s in such great hands. They’re incredibly attentive, communicative, and always send the sweetest updates and photos. We’re so grateful to have found them and would recommend them in a heartbeat! ❤️🐾

Schedule
Kalyan works from home so the pups are never left unattended and Maria has a flexible schedule. If one of us needs to step out for an errand, the other stays at home. We do like taking the pups with us for car rides & adventures as long as that’s not an issue for them.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced back deck and an energetic Aussie to play with your fur baby and keep them company. We don’t have children or other pets in the home so it’s a safe environment for your pup while you’re away!

A typical day
We live close to several parks. We enjoy taking walks at Lincoln Park nearby and sometimes venture out to Alki to walk there. We will definitely go on some fun walks together. Our dog Nikko loves to play so you can expect your dog to get some good play sessions in during the day!
