“Laila, fit us in at the last minute and was absolutely wonderful! My chihuahua is a bit much for a lot of people and he has a very strong bond to me. He liked Laila right away and I was able to leave him with a peaceful heart. She sent me so many pictures and videos that I never had to wonder if he was being cared for and happy. She showed me without me ever having to ask. I have never picked him up from a sitter when he did not run to me and jump in the car ready to go home. But, when Laila brought him outside to go home he wanted to go on their usual walk and was genuinely sad to leave. 11 out of ten! He is so calm and happy I’m so glad Laila was able to watch him for me this weekend!”

When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”

About: Previous Rat Terrier owner. Ready for daily dog dose. Care occasionally for neighbors dog, random sitting over the years. Prefer small-medium, house trained please. Cuddles! Work from home and have fenced yard near dog park and lake for walks. Morning busy and afternoon flexible. I follow instructions and won’t go rogue. Work from home and have time for breaks/walks. Solo preferred so will get all the attention aimed towards your pup! Quiet dead-end block near lake.
