About: I have loved and cared for dogs since I was in high school. Over the years, I have helped friends, neighbors, and family members by dog sitting, walking, feeding, and playing with their pets while they were away. I’m very patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog’s needs and personality. I enjoy spending time outdoors for walks, making sure dogs get exercise, attention, and lots of care. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away. I’m available to care for pets every day after 4 PM on weekdays and I’m available for the full day on weekends. Pet care fits well into my routine because I enjoy spending my free time walking, playing, and giving attention to dogs. I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, or dog sitting during these times and will make sure your pet gets plenty of care and exercise. I live in a clean and pet-friendly apartment located close to a park, which is perfect for dog walks and outdoor playtime. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and supervised while in my care. I also have my own car, so I can easily transport pets if needed, whether it’s for a park visit, vet appointment, or emergency. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and caring environment where pets feel happy and secure.

I have a master’s degree and clinical license in social work. I would absolutely love to care for your pet(s) to bring some extra paw-sitivity into my days. I personally have had dogs and cats throughout my life. I currently have a mini goldendoodle named Storm (she truly is such a storm!) and two cats named Olive and Basil. I have watched and cared for dogs of varying breeds and sizes from as small as a chihuahua to as big as a great dane. I am very active and would love to take your furry friends outdoors for a walk and/or play both indoor or outdoors depending on your preferences. I follow instructions well, and any special physical or dietary restrictions your pet(s) may have are not an issue for me. Just keep me informed and I will do my absolute best to provide the care your pet family needs. I currently have full availability. I just recently moved to Washington State and am in the process of searching and applying for employment. As I mentioned before, I am a clinical social worker. I just recently passed my clinical exam and am in a waiting period for the department of health to make my license fully active. I would love to fill my time with caring for animals! I am super flexible on ways to care for your pets! My dog Storm loves to play both inside with her toys and outside with walks/runs and going to the dog park to socialize. For my cats, they love their scratch matts. Basil loves playing with a laser and Olive loves playing with any type of string! I always pickup after Storm goes to the bathroom outside and scoop the litterbox 1-2x daily here at home. I am also familiar with giving dogs and cats prescribed medications as well ranging from oral medications, to ear cleaning and ear drops, and topical medications. About: I’ve recently started taking care of pets in my community after losing my lovely dog, Layla, to cancer. Doing so has been healing in ways that I could not have imagined!! I am so excited to continue this journey of love, support and healing. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. I work in office during the week, but close enough to home to allow the pups restroom breaks throughout the day. And of course, spending the evenings playing and snuggling with the doggos. My weekends are free to spend all the time with them. I follow the instructions form the caregiver and also listen to what each pet is telling me. I provide a calm yet playful attitude so that everyone feels comfortable.

About: Adaptable to all dog personalities and age ranges. My service tailors to your dog's needs. Fully fenced, locked, and secure backyard. I have two rescue dogs Jasper and Phaedra. They are both terrier mixes and are both ~20lbs. Jasper had a history of abuse and was quite aggressive with new people coming to the house. We worked carefully with a trainer and greatly improved his apprehension towards strangers. He's very good with other dogs. When we rescued Phaedra, her nickname was Bumpy due to the sever dermatitis she was suffering from. I spent a lot of time applying medicated shampoo, administering oral medicines, and conducted an elimination diet to pin point her food allergies. She is a sweetheart with so much love to give. I've had Jasper for 11 years and he is a very healthy 13yo dog. He gets along well with other dogs and is very playful We have had Phaedra for 8 years and she is very healthy but we do manage a few prescriptions for some of her chronic conditions. So if your dog requires daily medicine, no problem! I'll be home on a regular basis when caring for your dog. I have a futon in the room I'm usually in that the dogs can hang out on while I am in my room. But they will also have free roam of the rest of the house. In addition, there is a fully fenced backyard with a dog door. You doggo will also have free access to the secured gated yard I have a lot of love and patience for dogs. I will follow your care instructions to the letter. Your dog will be part of our pack, and receive affection from myself, Jasper, and Phaedra. Jasper, Phaedra, and I also love to play keep away, fetch, and tug of war. In case of emergencies: I am a two minute walk from my veterinary office (Four Paws) and a 25 minute drive to Blue Pearl's 24 hour care center. But let's please discuss if you have another care provider you want me to use in case of emergency In preparation for your dog's arrival I will: wash/dry all dog blankets, clean the water bowl, put fresh sheets on the dog futon, and get a few fresh toys out. If I am ever not in the house (will never be longer than 3 hours), guest dogs as well as my dogs will be separated into separate climate controlled rooms with water, bed, blanket, and toy. I do this for safety reasons but please let me know if your dog would adversely react to this and we can arrange an alternative. I'm happy to discuss any special requests I work from home and will be home most of if not all of the day. If I leave the house, it will be for 3 hours at most. In my home your dog is part of the pack. They will receive scratches, get playtime, and have access to a securely fenced and locked backyard. Your dog will be under my constant supervision, if i haven't seen them in a bit I'll be off to see what they're up to. If I leave the house, I usually like to crate or contain in a room w/bed for safety.

About: My experience includes fostering senior dogs with special needs, raising and training our own standard poodle, walking a variety of dogs with unique traits and proclivities. During house sits I have a quiet routine and would spend most of my time sitting with your pet doing my quiet activities aside from playtime and long walks. I enjoy exploring new trails and am happy to keep to your pet’s familiar routines too. I am experienced in delivering medications and special diets at home. I leave your home cleaner than I found it, practicing ‘leave no trace’. I currently focus on pursuing interests via reading, writing, cooking, painting, and creating botanical perfumes and essential oil blends for friends and family. Playing with my 4 leggeds at home and caring for your beloved pets balances exercise and playful engagement with my solo activities.
