“Mandy is amazing!!! Truly cannot say enough great things, she was so sweet to my cats which made me feel more comfortable being away. You can tell Mandy genuinely cares for pets, my cats looked so happy and at ease in the adorable pics and videos sent after check ins. Highly recommend, thank you again Mandy!”

About: As for most of us, we’ve had animals grow up with us. They were there when it was our first steps as babies or at our prom night. These things aren’t what makes a pet, but what makes them family. The love and respect to these furry babies is something that will forever be in our hearts I work morning to afternoon, throughout the evening or early morning and over nights I am available to give love and care to your pets I believe respect and communication are an essential care for your pet. Reliable and very open minded and willing to help out in any way I can
“We’ve utilized Laurel’s pet care a couple of times now, and she is wonderful! She has been reliable, great with communication, and gives our dog plenty of love/walks/playtime. We’d totally recommend Laurel! 🙂”

“Anais has watched our cats multiple times while we were travelling and every time has been wonderful. She takes great care of their needs and send lots of fun playtime pictures and videos. She is also very quick to respond to any communication. Overall, I would strongly recommend Anais for any catsitting you require!”

“Shanna took amazing care of our two cats and sent us some great photos along with a note with every check in. It was great to see them and know they were well taken care of! The visits were longer than expected, which I’m sure our cats appreciated too. Great care, communication, and consideration from Shanna! Would absolutely recommend!”

About: I have extensive, hands-on experience across the entire developmental spectrum, from neonate kittens requiring specialized feeding to the patient care required for senior dogs with mobility challenges. I'm comfortable administering oral/topical medications for both cats and dogs. I move at the pet’s pace. Whether a pet is shy, high-energy, or slowing down with age, I tailor my approach to their unique comfort levels and temperament to make sure they stay happy and healthy. As a full-time professional in an office Monday through Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), I provide highly structured and reliable care. I treat my sitting schedule with the same level of commitment as my career. Monday – Thursday: Full availability for walks, feeding, and playtime starting at 6:00 PM. Overnights: I am happy to provide overnight care for pets that are comfortable being home independently during a standard workday. Friday – Sunday: * Full-Day Availability: My schedule is completely open for adventure walks, multiple drop-ins, or more specialized care. My approach is centered on maintaining your pet's comfort and routine in the environment they know best—their own home! My evenings and weekends are dedicated to whatever your pet needs most—whether that’s an playtime, a precise medication routine, or just hanging out together on the couch! I'm comfortable administering various medications and am prepared for emergencies with my CPR training. Beyond keeping your pets safe, I treat your home with respect, ensuring it stays tidy, secure, and exactly as you left it.

About: Adaptable to all dog personalities and age ranges. My service tailors to your dog's needs. Fully fenced, locked, and secure backyard. I have two rescue dogs Jasper and Phaedra. They are both terrier mixes and are both ~20lbs. Jasper had a history of abuse and was quite aggressive with new people coming to the house. We worked carefully with a trainer and greatly improved his apprehension towards strangers. He's very good with other dogs. When we rescued Phaedra, her nickname was Bumpy due to the sever dermatitis she was suffering from. I spent a lot of time applying medicated shampoo, administering oral medicines, and conducted an elimination diet to pin point her food allergies. She is a sweetheart with so much love to give. I've had Jasper for 11 years and he is a very healthy 13yo dog. He gets along well with other dogs and is very playful We have had Phaedra for 8 years and she is very healthy but we do manage a few prescriptions for some of her chronic conditions. So if your dog requires daily medicine, no problem! I'll be home on a regular basis when caring for your dog. I have a futon in the room I'm usually in that the dogs can hang out on while I am in my room. But they will also have free roam of the rest of the house. In addition, there is a fully fenced backyard with a dog door. You doggo will also have free access to the secured gated yard I have a lot of love and patience for dogs. I will follow your care instructions to the letter. Your dog will be part of our pack, and receive affection from myself, Jasper, and Phaedra. Jasper, Phaedra, and I also love to play keep away, fetch, and tug of war. In case of emergencies: I am a two minute walk from my veterinary office (Four Paws) and a 25 minute drive to Blue Pearl's 24 hour care center. But let's please discuss if you have another care provider you want me to use in case of emergency In preparation for your dog's arrival I will: wash/dry all dog blankets, clean the water bowl, put fresh sheets on the dog futon, and get a few fresh toys out. If I am ever not in the house (will never be longer than 3 hours), guest dogs as well as my dogs will be separated into separate climate controlled rooms with water, bed, blanket, and toy. I do this for safety reasons but please let me know if your dog would adversely react to this and we can arrange an alternative. I'm happy to discuss any special requests I work from home and will be home most of if not all of the day. If I leave the house, it will be for 3 hours at most. In my home your dog is part of the pack. They will receive scratches, get playtime, and have access to a securely fenced and locked backyard. Your dog will be under my constant supervision, if i haven't seen them in a bit I'll be off to see what they're up to. If I leave the house, I usually like to crate or contain in a room w/bed for safety.
“Carla came over for a meet and greet in advance and was accommodating with our timing given we had just moved. She was communicative and even brought over her own treats for our cats, one of whom was being scared in our new house so she calmed my nerves by spending extra time searching for him! She’s very friendly and clearly has a lot of experience with cats.”
“Stephanie was great! She was able to do a last minute visit which we appreciated. Her updates about our puppy, Banks, were so sweet! It sounds like Banks really liked her too!”

About: I’m the person who stops mid-sidewalk to crouch down and say hello to every dog I come across! I was fortunate enough to grow up with dogs, but over time I’ve learned that loving them and understanding them are two very different things. Part of that comes from my sweet girl, Remy, an aussie/border collie mix who's been with me since she was ten weeks old. We are truly the best adventure duo. We're outside constantly: parks, forest walks, swimming, camping (but swimming is her favorite). She's extremely well trained, with a calm, shy demeanor and near perfect recall. I don't say this to brag (maybe a little) but to point out that even now, at ten years old, we’re still learning together. That process taught me that knowing a dog isn’t about affection alone. It’s about paying attention. I bring that same mindset to every one of my friend's and family's dogs that I care for. Each one has their own logic and their own way of moving through the world. Fisher, a golden, craves attention, so when she’s with me we build that into the day. She even has a standing date at a local cider spot. Oakley lives for the water, so that’s where we go. And then there are the subtleties, like how Fisher will dodge you if you walk toward her mid-play, but will come straight to you if you ask for a touch. These aren’t things you pick up from a guidebook. They come from watching closely and adjusting. My goal is always the same. Figure out what makes each dog feel safe, engaged, and understood, and meet them there. There’s almost always someone home. My partner works remotely full-time, and I work from home usually 3 days a week, so your dog gets real company instead of long stretches alone if we're boarding or doing a daycare scenario. Our days have a natural rhythm. Mornings and evenings are when we’re most active, with walks, longer play sessions, and time outside (unless it's the weekend). During the day, dogs can settle, move between spaces, or engage depending on what they need. I offer drop-ins, longer walks, extended play time like hikes, and boarding. I adjust based on each dog’s energy and routine. We live on the ground floor with a fully enclosed private patio (not a yard). Dogs can move freely between inside and out through a mesh door, and I’m often outside working in warmer months. It’s a calm, private, low-stress environment. I have a high-energy dog, so we are ALWAYS outside on walks, at the park, hiking etc. despite not having a proper yard. Remy is an easy housemate. She’s well-trained, focused, and usually more interested in her ball than new arrivals. She can be protective of her toys, which I manage proactively to keep things smooth, and I've never had issues with any other dogs. For boarding, I take dogs up to about 45 lbs to keep the space balanced. Walks and hikes are open to dogs of any size.

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs. Currently, my family and I have a golden retriever! I have experience pet sitting all kinds of animals, from cats to dogs of all sizes, labs, chihuahuas, pomerainains, to pets with disabilities: anxiety, blindness, and amputees. I can maintain a welcoming demeanor and provide a safe environment for pets who aren't used to spending time away from families or those who have disabilities. I currently work part-time and can commit to walking pets 3-6 times a day and spending at least 1 hour of one-on-one time with them. I also work out every day, so if your pet needs extra exercise, I can accommodate their needs with a run or a swim! I have a fenced yard and a very friendly, harmless dog that is available to keep your pet company. I have any toy, snack, or pet paraphernalia that one can think of, as well as a home that allows pets to lie on furniture. Aside from that, I am a five-minute walk to the lake, and an eight-minute walk to a park!
“We booked with Mik a little last minute a week before our two week international trip when our initial sitter was a no show for a meet and greet, and we are so glad we did! Mik was professional, and excellent communicator, and was very flexible working together with a family member who was also caring for our pets; especially when new challenges came up (our cat was hospitalized the weekend before we left for a urinary blockage). She was awesome at interacting with our pets at the level they were comfortable with, and I could tell that they became buds by the end of our trip! ☺️ We also appreciated all of the pictures and details we were given during her home visits, as well as how Mik put in the effort to provide engagement and stimulation for our pets on a variety of ways. I would definitely recommend booking with her, and we hope to do so again in the future!”

“Kiwi recently took care of our two cats and was amazing with them! She was very thorough and took notes and asked the right questions during our meet and greet. The cats seemed to warm up to her right away! Our cats can be quite shy, so it was great to see them feel so comfortable with her so soon. Kiwi went above and beyond to care for our kitties and we were so grateful to have her! We would definitely book her again!”

About: James and I started pet sitting and traveling in 2018, and it has been a fabulous adventure. We enjoy taking care of all animals. We love walking the dogs to get our steps in and cats with their uniqueness. We believe staying home with them until they get settled in is very important. We won’t leave them home alone, as they are happier when we’re around. Lots of walks, play time, and snuggles. We have lived in Seward Park since 2003 in a home with a fenced yard about a mile from the park. It is a great dog walking neighborhood. We enjoy puppies and senior dogs. We are also good medicine givers. Call or text us. We are a Retired married couple who throughly enjoy dogs/cats. We have been International pet sitters since 2018, and we have found that bonding is the most important thing about boarding a new animal. Creating a trust and being there with them so they don’t feel alone. Having fun activities to do that they enjoy is imperative. Many times it’s walking and “getting a smell” of their new environment. We have many popular walking neighborhood loops and Seward Park is always a hit. We enjoy them and they enjoy us. We make it a priority to listen to their individual language and gain their trust. Our home has screened windows and lots of light. We have safe hiding places, a comfy bed, and are home a lot, which they really like. Food is very important and we feed them as requested. We listen to what our pet owners have to say about their animals, as everyone is different. Please let us know anything else that makes them feel comfortable.
“Kristina responded promptly to a late request for check ins and was great from the beginning. She was quick to respond and accommodating with times. She even volunteered to come by my house before the check ins began to ensure she understood feeding/medicating instructions. She went above and beyond and was always prompt with pictures and updates during the care period. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

“Clio is a great sitter! Timely responses and great communication with attention to detail and safe, reliable care for the bbs. She knows how to give our old grumpy cat space and our young feisty cat lots of play and cuddles. The young one is especially nervous around new people but he warmed up easily to her when she watched them a few years ago and remembered her and white right back to cuddles this time around. Highly recommend!”

About: I have recently lost my 12 year old English bulldog. While I’m not ready for another companion, I am ready to give love to friendly pets. I have experience with special needs dogs, large breeds, and dogs with special medication needs. I am comfortable with dog-aggressive pets as well. I work full time but have a flexible schedule and often work from home. I am available to care for your pet in your home, and mine as well. Looking forward to meeting your pets! I have flexibility and with proper notice I can accommodate most scheduling needs. I have reliable transportation and often work from home. I am open to discussing your pets needs! I have a clean and pet safe home where your pets are welcome to get on the furniture if they are allowed. I will be happy to use a crate if your animals prefer it, but they are also welcome to roam the house if they won’t destroy furniture. I care for animals as if they were my own, and they will be spoiled when spending time with me.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Seward Park is $25
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Seward Park
Sunny is our go-to cat sitter! She takes such amazing care of our cat while we are out of town, and sends the cutest photos and detailed updates at each check in. She even took him on a harnessed walk outside to explore! Thank you Sunny for all the love and care you show Toro every time 🥰

Talia was our first Rover catsitter, and we had a great experience with her––we'll absolutely book her again. She came over for a meet-and-greet before the trip and was friendly, professional and engaged with our cat. During the trip, she sent us sweet photos and spent time socializing with our cat who can be a bit "bitey." Talia even called for our cat when she was outside, and waited for our cat to come back to get some pets and treats.

They're both so great. You can tell they're animal people through and through, and I felt like they really cared about my cat. In addition to being great at the logistics (the communication, tasks, scheduling, and handling things that came up), the updates were thorough, the pictures were plentiful, and I simply feel like my grumpy cat was happier for having them as sitters.

Kristina responded promptly to a late request for check ins and was great from the beginning. She was quick to respond and accommodating with times. She even volunteered to come by my house before the check ins began to ensure she understood feeding/medicating instructions. Brooke did an amazing job with Stormie. I'm grateful that she was able to come through for us a few days before my trip with last minute changes on our sitting arrangements. She communicated timely and clearly and Stormie loved her company. I highly recommend and welcome the opportunity to work with Brooke again!
