About: I offer discounts to service members, teachers, nurses, students, and other civil servants!! Adaptable to all dog personalities and age ranges. My service tailors to your dog's needs. Fully fenced, locked, and secure backyard. I have two rescue dogs Jasper and Phaedra. They are both terrier mixes and are both ~20lbs. Jasper had a history of abuse and was quite aggressive with new people coming to the house. We worked carefully with a trainer and greatly improved his apprehension towards strangers. He's very good with other dogs. When we rescued Phaedra, her nickname was Bumpy due to the sever dermatitis she was suffering from. I spent a lot of time applying medicated shampoo, administering oral medicines, and conducted an elimination diet to pin point her food allergies. She is a sweetheart with so much love to give. I've had Jasper for 11 years and he is a very healthy 13yo dog. He gets along well with other dogs and is very playful We have had Phaedra for 8 years and she is very healthy but we do manage a few prescriptions for some of her chronic conditions. So if your dog requires daily medicine, no problem! I'll be home on a regular basis when caring for your dog. I have a futon in the room I'm usually in that the dogs can hang out on while I am in my room. But they will also have free roam of the rest of the house. In addition, there is a fully fenced backyard with a dog door. You doggo will also have free access to the secured gated yard I have a lot of love and patience for dogs. I will follow your care instructions to the letter. Your dog will be part of our pack, and receive affection from myself, Jasper, and Phaedra. Jasper, Phaedra, and I also love to play keep away, fetch, and tug of war. In case of emergencies: I am a two minute walk from my veterinary office (Four Paws) and a 25 minute drive to Blue Pearl's 24 hour care center. But let's please discuss if you have another care provider you want me to use in case of emergency In preparation for your dog's arrival I will: wash/dry all dog blankets, clean the water bowl, put fresh sheets on the dog futon, and get a few fresh toys out. If I am ever not in the house (will never be longer than 3 hours), guest dogs as well as my dogs will be separated into separate climate controlled rooms with water, bed, blanket, and toy. I do this for safety reasons but please let me know if your dog would adversely react to this and we can arrange an alternative. I'm happy to discuss any special requests I work from home and will be home most of if not all of the day. If I leave the house, it will be for 3 hours at most. In my home your dog is part of the pack. They will receive scratches, get playtime, and have access to a securely fenced and locked backyard. Your dog will be under my constant supervision, if i haven't seen them in a bit I'll be off to see what they're up to. If I leave the house, I usually like to crate or contain in a room w/bed for safety.

“Anais was fantastic!! My dogs really loved her and she was excellent at communication and keeping me up to date on how things were going. I absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

“We booked with Mik a little last minute a week before our two week international trip when our initial sitter was a no show for a meet and greet, and we are so glad we did! Mik was professional, and excellent communicator, and was very flexible working together with a family member who was also caring for our pets; especially when new challenges came up (our cat was hospitalized the weekend before we left for a urinary blockage). She was awesome at interacting with our pets at the level they were comfortable with, and I could tell that they became buds by the end of our trip! ☺️ We also appreciated all of the pictures and details we were given during her home visits, as well as how Mik put in the effort to provide engagement and stimulation for our pets on a variety of ways. I would definitely recommend booking with her, and we hope to do so again in the future!”

“What a dream Rover! Megan is so attentive, gave thorough check ins with adorable photos, and kept our active girl busy with neighborhood adventures. We can tell our dog really enjoys and trusts her — which makes all the difference while we’re away. Thank you Megan!!!”

“Absolutely amazing sitter. Nikki was very sweet and attentive and took great care of Hermes like he was her own. She also reinforced his current training and I came back to a very happy boy! I can’t thank you enough!”

“Kris has been great with our very excitable and wiggly pitty mix. She follows instructions and our dog has been happy and well cared for when we get home. She's restoring our trust in the system after a few disappointing experiences with past dog sitters. We will be rebooking with Kris as long as she is available and willing to do it!”

“Kiwi has provided excellent care for my cat on separate occasions of 1-2 weeks each. He is very afraid of strangers, but with gentle coaxing, Kiwi managed to whisper him out from under couches and allow petting. Remarkable! Check-ins happen at the scheduled times. Messages from me receive timely replies from Kiwi.”

“Stephanie took such great care of our kitties while we were gone. She sent thoughtful and detailed updates for each visit and definitely made us feel comfortable with being away. Thank you!”

“Andre did a great job taking care of my two cats! He responds to texts fast, did exactly what they needed, and gave me good pics so I felt reassured while I was away.”

“Lee is the best! Our wild child kitty loves playing with them, and they even had some bonding cuddles. Thanks also for the extra care to bring in packages and all the great photos and videos!”

About: My experience includes fostering senior dogs with special needs, raising and training our own standard poodle, walking a variety of dogs with unique traits and proclivities. During house sits I have a quiet routine and would spend most of my time sitting with your pet doing my quiet activities aside from playtime and long walks. I enjoy exploring new trails and am happy to keep to your pet’s familiar routines too. I am experienced in delivering medications and special diets at home. I leave your home cleaner than I found it, practicing ‘leave no trace’. I currently focus on pursuing interests via reading, writing, cooking, painting, and creating botanical perfumes and essential oil blends for friends and family. Playing with my 4 leggeds at home and caring for your beloved pets balances exercise and playful engagement with my solo activities. I am reliable, communicate with words and photos, and will get to know your pet very well. I like to focus on your pets’ needs and spread my time around their care.
“Loved Daiana! On time, personable, great with cats and appreciating our cat’s feisty personality. Daiana was always quick to respond via the Rover app and sent the cutest photos. Would totally use her again!!”

“Ash provided exceptional care for our two cats during our recent trip to Japan, and we couldn't be more pleased with her service. She performed several drop-in visits, meticulously documented each one, and sent us adorable photos every time, which truly put our minds at ease. Ash ensured our cats had a fresh and clean environment, taking great care to attend to their needs and maintain their routine. She was also vigilant about potential climate issues as the weather warmed up, proactively managing any concerns and keeping us informed. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine affection for our Hodu and Pecan made all the difference. Knowing our cats were in such capable hands allowed us to enjoy our vacation without any worries. We are incredibly grateful for Ash's outstanding service and will definitely be relying on her for future cat-sitting needs. Highly recommended!”

About: James and I started pet sitting and traveling in 2018, and it has been a fabulous adventure. We enjoy taking care of all animals. We love walking the dogs to get our steps in and cats with their uniqueness. We believe staying home with them until they get settled in is very important. We won’t leave them home alone, as they are happier when we’re around. Lots of walks, play time, and snuggles. We have lived in Seward Park since 2003 in a home with a fenced yard about a mile from the park. It is a great dog walking neighborhood. We enjoy puppies and senior dogs. We are also good medicine givers. Call or text us. We are a Retired married couple who throughly enjoy dogs/cats. We have been International pet sitters since 2018, and we have found that bonding is the most important thing about boarding a new animal. Creating a trust and being there with them so they don’t feel alone. Having fun activities to do that they enjoy is imperative. Many times it’s walking and “getting a smell” of their new environment. We have many popular walking neighborhood loops and Seward Park is always a hit. We enjoy them and they enjoy us. We make it a priority to listen to their individual language and gain their trust. Our home has screened windows and lots of light. We have safe hiding places, a comfy bed, and are home a lot, which they really like. Food is very important and we feed them as requested. We listen to what our pet owners have to say about their animals, as everyone is different. Please let us know anything else that makes them feel comfortable.
“Karen was very organized and did everything we needed. Everything was in perfect order when we came back (I really appreciate that she rinsed out the cat food containers so the house didn't smell bad when we returned).”

“Jordan is very communicative, reliable, and wonderful with our dogs! One of them got into some toilet paper while we were gone and knocked a plant over and she cleaned up the disaster they created!”
Seward Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
We got allll the cute photos and updates of our gals each day we are away! And they LOVE Sunny! She's fantastic with our normally slightly standoffish cats! Plus Sunny is able to pivot and move for our chaotic house when it's under construction. Overhaul, always a great experience!

Olivia was fantastic. She checked on my cat daily and always made sure he had food, fresh water, and a clean litter box. I really appreciated the daily photo updates. She gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She’s reliable, thoughtful, and someone I’d absolutely use again.
Brooke checked in on my three cats for a week, and did a great job. She showed up to the meet and greet prepared and knew the care instructions for each cat, which made me feel confident knowing my cats were in good hands. I came home to a happy, healthy gang! I would happily book Brooke again.

My cat is high energy and Maggie did an amazing job keeping up! She took great care and gave attention to all of my cats health patterns. I appreciated how she communicated even small changes in the schedule and I trusted her to show up the way she said she would. They became best friends, and now I'm just trying to take care of my cat as well as Maggie does! - Thank you

Sophia looked after our dog and two cats over the course of a couple days. Sophia was always right on time to check in and super quick to respond to all messages. She handled oral medications without issue and provided thorough updates and cute pictures through the course of her visits. Would absolutely recommend Sophia for at-home check-ins!

Ash is a stellar pet sitter! She watched my two cats for two weeks while I was on an international trip. Halfway through the trip, one of my cats got sick with a respiratory illness. Ash flagged the symptoms early, kept an eye on the symptoms my vet told us to look out for, and communicated promptly about what she observed, and even took my cat to the emergency vet after she reported one of the symptoms that my vet had told us about. I'm so glad to have had a caring sitter when my cat needed medical attention!

I really can’t stress enough how relieved I am to have found Wing Shan. My partner and I have a very needy and dramatic Siamese cat, and we’ve found that even on longer trips, she (the cat) is less annoyed and desperate for attention when we’re back. Wing Shan takes great pictures, keeps us informed of everything, and does way more for our cat than we would ever expect.

We booked with Mik a little last minute a week before our two week international trip when our initial sitter was a no show for a meet and greet, and we are so glad we did! Mik was professional, and excellent communicator, and was very flexible working together with a family member who was also caring for our pets; especially when new challenges came up (our cat was hospitalized the weekend before we left for a urinary blockage). I would definitely recommend booking with her, and we hope to do so again in the future!
