Hello, I'm Sunny 🌞 I am a senior cat mom and have experience taking care of small, medium and large (up to 80lbs) sized dogs. Growing up I've always loved animals that my childhood dream was to become a veterinarian. When I lived abroad, there were a lot of strays at the park where I was growing up, and that's where my love for animals truly began. After school, I would stop by the convenience store, spend my allowance on pet food then ride my bicycle to meet my furry park friends. Now, although not a veterinarian, I have myself a handsome tuxedo cat named Mumu that I rescued 12 years ago. Having cared for him from age 2 to now 14 has given me firsthand experience with the needs of kitties across different life stages. Over the last eight years, I have helped family and friends dog sit as well as drop-in visit cats. I'm often the first person they ask and can always be counted on as a pet sitter. I have experience with dog walking, pup/kitty play time and giving oral/topical medications. I am big on positive reinforcement when I'm with your pet, I will not hesitate to praise your pup/kitty and tell them good boy/girl/job. I love seeing their ears perk up and their smiley faces when they are doing great. What you can expect from my drop-in services: many cute photos of your pet(s), detailed Rover cards, following care instructions attentively, staying with your pet the full 30-60mins (unless the pet parents instructs otherwise), a ton of love and full respect/tidiness of your home.

Sunny was so kind to accept my last minute request to care for my cat while on I went out of town for the weekend. As per usual, Sunny delivered exceptional care to our Toro, sent the cutest photos and detailed updates, and Toro looked so happy to have had some playtime with his favorite sitter! Cannot recommend Sunny enough 🥰

Every time we leave town we always have Sunny watch Izzie! Sunny is amazing and our kitty loves getting to see her. She also sends lots of pictures and updates.

Schedule
My schedule is flexible, which allows me to prioritize caring for your pets and meeting their needs. I’m more than happy to work around your schedule to ensure your fur babies get the best care possible. Please don’t hesitate to share any specific requests—I’m always happy to do it! Currently, my weekly dog walking schedule has filled up so am no longer accepting new clients unless it is a referral. I only offer pet boarding for recurring clients. I do have a senior cat at home, and I take his comfort into consideration when boarding dogs. He loves small and medium-sized dogs, and some larger dogs too—it really just depends on him (he does not like to be chased). After all, he’s the boss of this house :)

I always strive to make the pets I care for feel safe and comfortable, whether we’re at home or out and about. My home is fully pet-proofed, and I’m mindful of potential food allergies or other risks to ensure their safety. Please let me know if your pet is comfortable around other animals, as well as any specific needs, routines or triggers they have. Feel free to send me a detailed document of care info, I will take the time to go through it multiple times and reach out if I ever have questions. I’ll do my best to accomplish every task so they feel right at home. As a pet parent for a decade, I understand that every pet has their own unique personality and preferences. Being away from their owners can sometimes be stressful, so I always do my best to make them feel secure, loved, and cared for. Any information you can share helps me provide the best, most personalized care for your pet.

I enjoy walking a lot and can take your furry best friend to a nearby park to play/run or if they prefer a slow sniff-and-stroll walk, we can do that too! Please let me know if you would like your pet to socialize, or not.
