“Laila took AMAZING care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. Our dog had some digestive issues a few hours after we left him with Laila and we were extremely worried. Laila took him to the emergency vet and everything ended up being okay. She kept us very well-updated with photos and videos as well as calling us to talk to the emergency vet. About: I LOVE cats but don't have one at the moment, though I grew up with them and had a cat from 8 weeks old to nearly 18 years old. About: Hello! I have been dog and cat sitting for at least 20 years and have several active clients in Seattle currently. I have previously worked for a dog walking and sitting business in Maryland. I have cared for puppies from 6 months through to senior, special needs pups. While no one enjoys it, I am comfortable giving pills, injections, and other medications to both cats and dogs. In my dog walking business I have walked up to four pups at the same time. I love to go on long walks, even in the rain and wind, and can throw a ball for hours! I will take care of your home and your pup with the utmost respect and love. I am a home owner with two kitties and a toddler. We are working on getting them all comfortable with dogs but for the time being we can only subject them to guests for 4 days in a row max (or they may never forgive us). While I haven't found the perfect pup for my life yet, I am very excited to be able to share my house with dogs of all ages for short stints while I'm searching. About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.

“Kai was a fantastic dog sitter! He and his wife were excellent communicators and they took outstanding care of our large golden retriever. Our dog is shy at first, and he warmed up to Kai and his wife very quickly because they are so at ease and know how to welcome a new dog into their home. Kai kindly sent us pictures and videos throughout our pet’s stay with their family. On top of providing exceptional care for our pup, they took the time to meet with us and our dog before the boarding began, they were flexible about our drop-off and pick-up times, and they always responded to our messages promptly and kindly, including when we had an emergency on our end. Kai is a true Rover professional. We hope Kai and his family will be available the next time we are traveling and need dog care, because they are the best!”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

“We gotta say, we’ve had rover sitters before (some good, some not so good) but Gregg by far has exceeded all of our expectations. We asked him beforehand if he was okay with one of our reactive and pulley dogs, and he said he was. We set up a meet and greet before booking and both our dogs took to Gregg immediately. He just had such a kind, warm demeanor to him, and although we had other meet and greets scheduled throughout the week, no one even came close to Gregg. The booking itself was exactly what we thought it would be — amazing. Gregg was very communicative, with constant updates/photos/videos throughout the day, was very attentive towards both of our dogs needs, kept them engaged throughout their stay, followed all instructions on feeding/walking times, and even kept a close eye on one of our dogs paw chewing. When we came to pick them up, it was very clear they had a blast with Gregg, and even bonded with him as well!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and because of that, we are just so grateful to have found him!!! He is going to be our go-to sitter going forward, and we know our dogs can’t wait for their next adventure with Gregg!!!”
