“Carl is an amazing sitter! Very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and I could tell our boy was very comfortable and having a great time while we were gone. Carl’s space is fantastic for any pets, our dog loved being there. I will absolutely reach out to Carl first in the future for any sitting needs.”

“Laila took AMAZING care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. Our dog had some digestive issues a few hours after we left him with Laila and we were extremely worried. Laila took him to the emergency vet and everything ended up being okay. She kept us very well-updated with photos and videos as well as calling us to talk to the emergency vet. I’m so grateful that our dog was in such good hands. We would absolutely book with Laila again and highly recommend her to anyone out there who is looking for a sitter. We would give her 10 stars if we could!”

“Sarah did a great job with Hazel! She sent daily photos to let me know what they were up to and how Hazel was doing. Hazel had a great time, and I felt at ease knowing she was being well cared for. I would definitely work with Sarah again!”

“Biscuit had a great stay with Elise and James. They are warm, attentive and loving. We got plenty of updates during our dog’s stay with them. Upon coming home, I could tell Biscuit was really relaxed and himself straight away, which is always a great sign. We are looking forward to Biscuit’s next stay!”

“I was nervous to leave my dog with someone other than family, but Vivian was great! She sent pictures regularly to let me know how my dog was doing, and treated him like one of her own!”

“Martha is the best! She, and her family, take such great care of our pets. Khloe and Karly are always so happy to see her. When we pick them up, we can tell they had such a good time!”

“Leio and Leah and their family were amazing! They poured so much attention and affection to our dog and it's clear he loved every minute of it. They were communicative and provided great photos during our trip which we really loved as well. Would definitely return to for future sittings!”

“She was amazing! She was so sweet to clean the litter box and litter genie. She also was very responsive and timely with photos of my Frubbles 🥰. My cat was so calm around her.”

“Chris and his dog family are so sweet. His house isn’t far from where our dog goes on walks sometimes. If we’re in the area our dog now gets excited and wants to go back to that house. Safe to say, he had a great time.”

“This was my first time having my pup stay with strangers and I’m so pleased that I chose Maria & Kalyan to watch her for the day! They were quick to respond and set up a meet & greet the day before I wanted to book. I appreciate the opportunity to see if my dog got along with theirs. Throughout the day, Maria & Kalyan sent plenty of updates, pictures, and videos to let me know how Luna was settling in. Thank you for treating her like your own and Luna opened up because of how patient, gentle, and kind they were to her. Thank you and I will definitely reach out again in the near future! ☺️”

“Jennifer is AMAZING! Very easy to work with, communicates well, and is flexible. She took Lola Rae on two walks a day and sent updates with pictures.”

“Joesph was an awesome dog sitter for Sherlock! He's super flexible with pickup/dropoff and arranged a meet and greet very quickly for our last minute stay request. It looked like Sherlock had a great time and he kept me updated all weekend. Would highly recommend Joesph and look forward to Sherlock staying with him again sometime!”

“Claudia took fantastic care of my dog. From my initial contact, she asked thoughtful questions about my dog and wanted to book a meet and greet which I always appreciate. Claudia kept me up to date daily. I really appreciate all of the care and consideration that went into this stay and would love to book with her again.”

“Brenda took wonderful care of our dog, Zelda, during our 4 day trip. Zelda can be a finicky eater and also chews up paper, so leaving her with a caring and attentive Rover really helps us be able to travel with ease. Zelda did great under Brenda's care, and came home happy and healthy. I definitely recommend booking with Brenda and will rebook in the future! Thank you so much!”

“Daisha and her husband are so incredibly nice and wonderful. My pups are somewhat handful and required lots of attention. They got all the love, care, and more staying with Daisha. I love the fact that Daisha's home is so neat and clean and she has a beautiful yard for the dogs to run around and enjoy. I specially appreciate Daisha's attention to details and her and her husband's genuine love and care for my dogs. I completely trusted and felt very lucky to have found Daisha to board my dogs. We'll definitely be back and work with Daisha again. Thank you so much Daisha!!!”

“Loic, Kristen and the kids were wonderful with Koa! He went on long walks everyday, played fetch and tug of war and was showered with love!! The minute we met the family, koa felt right at home! Such a welcoming family and great at communicating. I received pictures and videos everyday, so it made me feel like he was right there with me! Highly recommend :)”

“Scarlett took amazing care of my dog Buckley! He is a senior dog and requires medications and she was able to administer his medications and care for him in the way he needs (short walks/potty breaks and lots of lounging and cuddle time). We will definitely be booking with Scarlett again!”

“Maureen desires nothing better than a 5+ rating. Upon my return my emotional poodle returned home in a happy and relaxed state with no anxiety and regular sleep/constitution. For me this is the indication of a caring sitter who is attending to the needs of my pet in terms of attention, exercise and nutritional needs. I know that my poodle would not hesitate to return to Maureen's caring home.”

“Rachael was great. She provided me regular updates on my pup while he stayed with her, which I very much appreciated. She also responded to any and all of my communications quickly and was very flexible. Would definitely recommend.”

“Mandy took excellent care of our cat children and on short notice, too. She was patient and gentle with our shy cat and gave our more sociable cat lots of pets and attention. I would book Mandy again in a heartbeat.”

“Carla came over for a meet and greet in advance and was accommodating with our timing given we had just moved. She was communicative and even brought over her own treats for our cats, one of whom was being scared in our new house so she calmed my nerves by spending extra time searching for him! She’s very friendly and clearly has a lot of experience with cats.”

“Katie is a fantastic Rover! 11/10 would recommend! She manages to capture the silliest photos of our pets playing, and even engages them in all sorts of play time! She goes above and beyond, even vacuuming the litter when it gets a little messy! Thank you Katie!!”

“I've always had a great experience with Maura. She is punctual and takes care of my cats really well. Both my cats are very comfortable around her (even my introverted and scared cat). I love that she sends a detailed message about the cats along with pictures after every check in.”

About: I’ve recently started taking care of pets in my community after losing my lovely dog, Layla, to cancer. Doing so has been healing in ways that I could not have imagined!! I am so excited to continue this journey of love, support and healing. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. I work in office during the week, but close enough to home to allow the pups restroom breaks throughout the day. And of course, spending the evenings playing and snuggling with the doggos. My weekends are free to spend all the time with them. I follow the instructions form the caregiver and also listen to what each pet is telling me. I provide a calm yet playful attitude so that everyone feels comfortable.
“Thanks so much Stephanie for taking care of our cat while we were gone. Thanks for your patience with him- it takes him a little to warm up to people but I appreciate you taking the time to make him comfortable.”

“Veronica was awesome. She took care of Lunita and his space for several days while we were out of the country. She even bought him treats because he was running low! I’ll definitely work with Veronica again 💛”

“Jennifer took care of my timid cat and not only was she wonderfully dependable and responsive, letting me know how everything was going, but she understood my cat is shy! I hope that I will have the opportunity to book with her again!”

“June really came through for last minute cat visits over holidays! Always sends lots of pics and updates in real time. Really appreciate her flexibility and communication and my cat loves the attention”

“Mei did a great job taking care of our cat while we were on vacation. She was flexible with her schedule and helped us out when we had to be gone longer than planned. Thanks, Mei!”
“Jessica is a great pet sitter! I've had the same cat sitter for years, but she was unavailable. Stressful trying to determine who to trust w/my cat who has some anxiety. Jessica was amazing from the beginning at our meet and greet. She provided amazing details and photos during her visits and any of my initial fears quickly subsided. She understands the importance of her role and is incredibly kind and professional. Wouldn't hesitate to book with her again!”

About: I have recently lost my 12 year old English bulldog. While I’m not ready for another companion, I am ready to give love to friendly pets. I have experience with special needs dogs, large breeds, and dogs with special medication needs. I am comfortable with dog-aggressive pets as well. I work full time but have a flexible schedule and often work from home. I am available to care for your pet in your home, and mine as well. Looking forward to meeting your pets! I have flexibility and with proper notice I can accommodate most scheduling needs. I have reliable transportation and often work from home. I am open to discussing your pets needs! I have a clean and pet safe home where your pets are welcome to get on the furniture if they are allowed. I will be happy to use a crate if your animals prefer it, but they are also welcome to roam the house if they won’t destroy furniture. I care for animals as if they were my own, and they will be spoiled when spending time with me.

“Chris has been absolutely amazing. I just moved from across the country with one of my three dogs, and he has been having a hard time adjusting to apartment life (aka screaming his head off). After I got an email from my property manager after my first day of work I was frantically looking for a sitter for the next day. Chris was not only able to accommodate Casper the following day after my request, but also last minute on a weekend for an event I was hosting. I cannot thank Chris enough for his help and for putting up with some of Casper’s antics.”

“Michelle was awesome! She sent lots of photo updates, and kept us posted about Charlie’s activities throughout the day- walks, bathroom breaks, etc. He had a great time playing with her dog and was always nice and tired coming home at the end of the day after getting good play and exercise. We’d tooootally recommend her and will definitely be trying to book her in the future!”

About: I cared for my own two cats for over 5 years (they’ve since passed), and I’ve always loved being around animals. I’ve lived with dogs (thanks to dog-loving roommates and family) and I’ve dog-sat for friends for many years. I’m an expert cuddler, feeder, walker, and all-around caretaker. Whether your pup loves playtime or prefers a calm, cozy environment, I’ll treat them like family. I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company, we make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. I’m especially great with affectionate dogs and seniors who need a little extra care and patience. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs while you’re away! (Additional note: I’m happy to board larger dogs, as long as they’re older and super mellow. As a short woman, I just want to make sure I can stay in control on walks, and with small kids at home, I’m mindful about dogs who won’t jump up or accidentally knock them over.) I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company and they will get lots of love & attention. We make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. Overnight Stays: We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. Doggy Daycare: Happy to host your dog during the weekdays, and provide plenty of cuddles, company, and walks. In my home, your dog will be treated like family! They’re free to roam the house, lounge on the furniture, and cuddle up with us. We have a large, almost fully fenced yard with plenty of space to explore and play (while we keep a close eye during outside time just in case). We also have great walking paths nearby for daily strolls. Whether it’s playtime, nap time, or cuddle time, your pup will get lots of attention and love throughout the day.
“Finn loves going over to William’s house! He always has fun with the dogs that are there. I appreciate that William doesn’t take more than 4 dogs at a time Finn gets all the attention he needs…and he needs quite a lot. William is communicative, kind and reliable. He is great with dogs. I will continue to bring Finn there whenever I’m in need.”

“They were excellent hosts, clearly our lil guy had such a nice time with them, I’ll definitely reach out to them if I were in town again, and need someone to take care of Olaf! The entire family engaged with Olaf and kept him company, can’t recommend them enough!”

About: I have cared for my own pug for over 13 years, so I understand the daily needs of dogs at different stages of life, including senior care. Our home environment is calm and comfortable, which works well for dogs that enjoy a relaxed setting. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so dogs staying with us receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. We also have a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed. Because we have a gentle senior pug at home, we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable place where dogs can relax and feel cared for while their owners are away. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so we are around throughout the day to give dogs attention, regular potty breaks, and walks. This also means dogs are rarely left alone for long periods of time. Our schedule is generally flexible, and we are able to accommodate regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, and walks throughout the day. Because we are home most of the time, we can keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure they are comfortable and well cared for. We provide a calm, safe home environment for dogs. We have a gentle senior pug who is very used to sharing space with other dogs, so we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. Our house has a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed, and we also take dogs out for regular walks. Because we work from home, dogs staying with us receive plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. We usually host only one guest dog at a time so we can focus on their comfort and make sure they feel relaxed and well cared for during their stay.
About: Hey, we are Rachael and Daniel! We are both vaccinated and boosted. We have had dogs our entire lives and have also volunteered at adoption events, fostered animals, and watch friends' dogs all the time - can't get enough! We just recently got a 4 year Calico cat who is very friendly and laidback (she usually can stay with family if we have housesitting gigs). We love all animals from giant crazy puppies to shy senior citizens. If we are walking or watching your pet, you can trust they will gets tons of cuddles and attention, and you will get plenty of updates and pics : ) Rachael works from home for a software company and Daniel is an attorney who is currently working from home, so we have a lot of flexibility when it comes to pet care, and we are happy to customize our schedules to whatever your pet needs. Also, we will donate 25% of your payment to local shelters as a way to pass it on. Can't wait to meet your pup or kitty! “Joseph was so nice and helpful with my pup!! She loved her stay at his house and he sent me a bunch of pics and videos as well as texting me during the day with updates! Thanks so much Joseph!!!”

“Evlyn was so wonderful with my dog Coco and we were lucky she was able to accept the booking despite a last-minute notice. She sent several photos throughout the day and was quick to respond both prior to and during the stay. Communicating with her was so easy and Coco seemed to have a good time with her and her dog Mikey. :) Thank you again Evlyn! We will be returning for sure. :)”

“Tu was absolutely fantastic with my girl Reggie. After drop off she sent me an update to let me know how she was adjusting to a new place and throughout the day I got pics of my bestie having her new adventure. Would 100% book again!!”

“We are so grateful to have found Todd. He took wonderful care of Kona and made sure she got daily walks and plenty of attention. Kona got along great with Honey, who is such a sweet, chill pup. The two of them did really well together. Todd was always responsive, reliable, and kept us updated. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are so happy to have found him. We will absolutely continue to use Todd in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and dependable sitter.”

“Lydia took Aggie in at last moment. Aggie is a shy dog but Lydia was able to get her comfortable in her. I loved the regular messages and video she kept sending us. Anytime we are in Seattle she will our go to person to care of Aggie. Thanks again Lydia.”

About: Hello! I have been dog and cat sitting for at least 20 years and have several active clients in Seattle currently. I have previously worked for a dog walking and sitting business in Maryland. I have cared for puppies from 6 months through to senior, special needs pups. While no one enjoys it, I am comfortable giving pills, injections, and other medications to both cats and dogs. In my dog walking business I have walked up to four pups at the same time. I love to go on long walks, even in the rain and wind, and can throw a ball for hours! I will take care of your home and your pup with the utmost respect and love. I am a home owner with two kitties and a toddler. We are working on getting them all comfortable with dogs but for the time being we can only subject them to guests for 4 days in a row max (or they may never forgive us). While I haven't found the perfect pup for my life yet, I am very excited to be able to share my house with dogs of all ages for short stints while I'm searching. I work from home and can let pups out to go to the bathroom as needed. I love a lunch walk to get me ready for the afternoon. I have a fenced yard and a patch of grass for regular bathroom breaks. The staircase is gated so we’re always within eyeshot of any canine visitors.
“Tien and Jeanyee took really amazing care of Pepe and accommodated my long work hours. They sent frequent photos/videos and updates. He was clearly very happy with them and enjoyed playing with Bowser and his toys. I will bring him back soon”

“Olivia was amazing! She was very communicative as this is our first time using rover. She sent super cute photos and kept us updated throughout his stay. Ziggy had an amazing time :)”

“As always, Mckenna and her mom Shirley took the best care of my old dog Chewie, and he's not easy! Thank you so much, Mckenna and Shirley! I'm always sure Chewie is happy and well taken care of when he's at your house.”

About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.
“Sala and Pickles were wonderful with Pogi. Sala set up a Meet & Greet in advance and welcomed us to their lovely home which helped make Pogi feel comfortable the day of his daycare with them. We picked up a happy and tired pup by the end of the day which is all we could ask for. We will definitely be booking more days with them.”

“Heather and her husband Andres were wonderful! Sammie had a great time and got along with their sweet dog Noodles. Would absolutely have them take care of Sammie again!”

“Mandy is AWESOME. Nigel loves her and gets so excited when he hears her car pull up. He’s a lot of dog to handle and she does so beautifully—I feel really lucky to have her helping me give him the best life possible.”

About: I’m the person who stops mid-sidewalk to crouch down and say hello to every dog I come across! I was fortunate enough to grow up with dogs, but over time I’ve learned that loving them and understanding them are two very different things. Part of that comes from my sweet girl, Remy, an aussie/border collie mix who's been with me since she was ten weeks old. We are truly the best adventure duo. We're outside constantly: parks, forest walks, swimming, camping (but swimming is her favorite). She's extremely well trained, with a calm, shy demeanor and near perfect recall. I don't say this to brag (maybe a little) but to point out that even now, at ten years old, we’re still learning together. That process taught me that knowing a dog isn’t about affection alone. It’s about paying attention. I bring that same mindset to every one of my friend's and family's dogs that I care for. Each one has their own logic and their own way of moving through the world. Fisher, a golden, craves attention, so when she’s with me we build that into the day. She even has a standing date at a local cider spot. Oakley lives for the water, so that’s where we go. And then there are the subtleties, like how Fisher will dodge you if you walk toward her mid-play, but will come straight to you if you ask for a touch. These aren’t things you pick up from a guidebook. They come from watching closely and adjusting. My goal is always the same. Figure out what makes each dog feel safe, engaged, and understood, and meet them there. There’s almost always someone home. My partner works remotely full-time, and I work from home usually 3 days a week, so your dog gets real company instead of long stretches alone if we're boarding or doing a daycare scenario. Our days have a natural rhythm. Mornings and evenings are when we’re most active, with walks, longer play sessions, and time outside (unless it's the weekend). During the day, dogs can settle, move between spaces, or engage depending on what they need. I offer drop-ins, longer walks, extended play time like hikes, and boarding. I adjust based on each dog’s energy and routine. We live on the ground floor with a fully enclosed private patio (not a yard). Dogs can move freely between inside and out through a mesh door, and I’m often outside working in warmer months. It’s a calm, private, low-stress environment. I have a high-energy dog, so we are ALWAYS outside on walks, at the park, hiking etc. despite not having a proper yard. Remy is an easy housemate. She’s well-trained, focused, and usually more interested in her ball than new arrivals. She can be protective of her toys, which I manage proactively to keep things smooth, and I've never had issues with any other dogs. For boarding, I take dogs up to about 45 lbs to keep the space balanced. Walks and hikes are open to dogs of any size.
About: Hello! I’m new to Rover, but not new to dogs. After 26 years in a demanding career, I’m retired from the proverbial hamster wheel and making dogs my fulltime job. ~ I have a soft spot for seniors and have over six years of experience supporting senior dogs, including those with anxiety, medical needs, and histories of abuse and neglect. Three of my five dogs have been deaf. I’m comfortable with medication routines, gentle handling, and reading subtle body language cues. ~ I’ve worked with a wide range of breeds and temperaments as a volunteer dog walker with Colorado Humane and Longmont Humane Society. ~ I hold the Dog Trainer Comprehensive Certificate from Karen Pryor Academy. While I don’t offer training services, I use positive reinforcement and value providing fear‑free, confidence‑building experiences. I'm currently available 7 days a week for walks and drop-ins from 8am-4pm. If you become a repeat client and need something outside of my typical schedule, please ask and we'll figure it out. I meticulously follow instructions and treat your dog as my own. When walking, I: ~ avoid face-to-face contact with other dogs. ~ am attuned to air and pavement temperature and know how to safely cool down an overheated dog. ~ keep an eye out for foxtails and other risks. ~ don't use retractable leashes unless you insist. ~ don't do group walks. ~ don't do dog parks.

“Anaish was amazing and so kind to my dog! There’s definitely a reason for so many five star reviews. Couldn’t thank her enough for all the help. We will be repeat customers for sure.”

“Paul was right on time every time. I enjoyed our talk before he took on the job - seemed very experienced. My dogs slept well and got just the right amount of exercise. I highly recommend Paul.”
“Siobhan is prompt, highly communicative, friendly and was great with my pup who can sometimes be a stubborn walker! Definitely recommend reaching out to her for your pet’s needs!”

“Jennifer is wonderful! She took our pup on walks and to the dog park when she sensed she needed some time to run around :) really appreciate her communicativeness!”

“Her partner helped to carry shadow down our plank stairs as shadow is unable to go use them without chancing injury. Her and her partner are both store nice and shadow came back tired - all I could ask for!”

“Mac was lovely to work with. He came by for a quick meet and greet and our dog immediately loved him. We got daily updates with pictures on all the walks. We will definitely use him again!”

About: 15 years of pet sitting experience, with a range of hands-on experience across dogs, cats, and rabbits Reactive & Fearful Dogs: I've worked with at least seven reactive-level dogs on Rover, from mild anxiety to a dog who growled and snapped at our first meeting and was my best friend by the end of the visit. My own dog is highly leash reactive and fearful of strangers and children, so I understand this firsthand, not just professionally. My focus is on building communication and trust with each dog first; confidence follows from that. I'm also comfortable adapting to whatever training approach an owner already has in place, because staying consistent with your dog's existing training matters more than my own preferences. Puppies & Foster Experience: I've fostered five rescue puppies (large-breed, from Texas), handling crate training, basic obedience, and potty training from the ground up. Senior Pet Care: Extensive experience with older pets, from medication administration to adjusting attention and mobility support as needs change. Multi-Pet Households: Comfortable managing two dogs with different needs in the same visit, like a young, high-energy dog paired with an older dog needing more rest and individual attention. Cats & Rabbits: I excel with cats, respecting their particular nature and giving them exactly the attention (or space) they want. I also have over 20 years of experience with pet rabbits - they make great pets and also use a litter box! Home Care & Communication: Your pet comes first, but I treat your home with the same care and attention. I bring in mail, check that doors and windows are secure, and if anything changes or comes up while you're away, I'll let you know as it happens, not after you're already home. I'm based in Beacon Hill/Columbia City and love being part of my neighbors' pet care networks. I usually bike to visits, which is one of my favorite parts of doing this: a good excuse to get outside and get to know the neighborhood. I keep a smaller, flexible caseload rather than a fixed daily route, which often means I can step in on short notice for established clients when a regular sitter or walker falls through. For new clients, I require a no-cost meet-and-greet before any booking, especially for visits that involve entering your home. Every visit starts with a no-cost meet-and-greet to walk through your pet's routine, care needs, and how you'd like your home handled while you're away. I follow your instructions closely, whether that's feeding, medication, or reinforcing your dog's existing training. While I'm in your home, doors and windows stay checked and secured, mail comes in, and anything unusual gets reported to you right away, not left for you to find later. For anxious, reactive, or senior pets, I move at their pace and build in extra time and attention as needed.
About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, energy level, and routine, so I take the time to make each walk or visit enjoyable, safe, and tailored to their needs. Whether your dog loves long adventures, leisurely sniff walks, or simply needs companionship while you're away, I'm happy to provide patient, reliable care. I'm attentive to details, communicate regularly with pet parents, and always send updates and photos so you can feel confident your furry family member is happy and well cared for. I'm comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic medications if needed, and caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments—including energetic puppies and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and gentle care. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and excited to see me again. As a creative business owner, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care throughout the day. I build my own work hours, which means I can easily fit in walks, drop in visits, and consistent care between projects while still giving each pet my full attention. Pet care is a wonderful balance to my creative work, it gets me outdoors, keeps me active, and gives me the opportunity to spend time with animals, something I genuinely enjoy. Because I manage my own schedule, I'm able to be dependable, communicative, and accommodate a variety of routines whenever possible. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or taking them on a walk, I'll follow your instructions closely to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I know that pets thrive on familiarity, so I pay attention to their feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications (if needed), and any special preferences or quirks. I always prioritize safe leash handling, secure entrances and exits, and awareness of our surroundings during walks. In your home, I'll treat your space with the same respect and care I would my own, keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. I also believe communication is key. I'll keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is receiving attentive, loving, and reliable care while you're away.

About: I am a non-smoking, animal loving, trustworthy pet professional. I understand the importance of having someone reliable and dependable to look after your furry family. I am a social worker and I would absolutely love to care for your pet(s) to bring some extra paw-sitivity into my days. I personally have had dogs and cats throughout my life. I currently have a mini goldendoodle named Storm (she truly is such a storm!) and two cats named Olive and Basil. I have watched and cared for dogs of varying breeds and sizes from as small as a chihuahua to as big as a great dane. I am very active and would love to take your furry friends outdoors for a walk and/or play both indoor or outdoors depending on your preferences. I follow instructions well, and any special physical or dietary restrictions your pet(s) may have are not an issue for me. Just keep me informed and I will do my absolute best to provide the care your pet family needs. I love to bring some extra positivity into my days by caring for animals outside of work. Animals help me to decompress and ground - even more so after a heavy session and/or stressful day. I’d love to be able to fit caring for you pet(s) into my schedule! I am super flexible on ways to care for your pets! My dog Storm loves to play both inside with her toys and outside with walks/runs and going to the dog park to socialize. For my cats, they love their scratch matts. Basil loves playing with a laser and Olive loves playing with any type of string! I always pickup after Storm goes to the bathroom outside and scoop the litterbox 1-2x daily here at home. I am also familiar with giving dogs and cats prescribed medications as well ranging from oral medications, to ear cleaning and ear drops, and topical medications. Please let me know if your pets have any additional needs 🩷
“Emily was wonderful while I was away on vacation. She’s super personable, friendly, followed through on the arranged walking times and she was able to make our need work on short notice…but, most of all, my lil’ Leo was well taken care of. I’ll definitely will be calling on her again in the future.”

“Leio and Leah and their family were amazing! They poured so much attention and affection to our dog and it's clear he loved every minute of it. They were communicative and provided great photos during our trip which we really loved as well. Would definitely return to for future sittings!”

“Scarlett took amazing care of my dog Buckley! He is a senior dog and requires medications and she was able to administer his medications and care for him in the way he needs (short walks/potty breaks and lots of lounging and cuddle time). We will definitely be booking with Scarlett again!”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

“We booked Tu last minute to watch our 3 month old puppy while we were away for a few days. She was super responsive and accommodating. When our flight got delayed and I wouldn’t be able to pick up our puppy on time, Tu dropped him off in our home so he’d be there waiting for us when we got there. Tu sent daily updates and our puppy had a great time playing with the other dogs Tu babysat.”

“Mwajim was great with my dog Sage. She was very nice and my dog was very calm around her. When I got Sage back she was well exercised which made the rest of my drive nice as she wasn’t too hyper and was napping a lot so that was great. Definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve watched paralyzed dogs, trained my own rescue Rottweiler, cared for injured animals recovering from surgery, and built trust through social issues like anxiety, reactivity and biting. I love dogs and believe any behavioral issues are signs of stress or bad treatment. “There are no bad dogs, only bad humans.” A dog needs to build up trust and structure to be their best selves. And I know how hard it is to find a dog sitter trained in behavioral issues. That’s why I’m offering services. I can read body language, understand appeasement behaviors, signs of stress, and know how to work with your dog on training routines. If you rescued an animal, or haven’t given up on one that has issues, you deserve a sitter who can see their potential too. I work from home with flexible hours, so I do this work on the side. I’m in grad school Monday and Thursday nights, but can walk, feed, and play with your pets throughout the day. I will keep my schedule updated so you can reliably book with me. Animals I board must be crate trained. My house has two levels, so animals are kept separate and safe with care throughout the day. My dog stays upstairs while boarded animals are in a temperature controlled first level bedroom. They will not interact. This does mean your animal will sleep alone in a bedroom they’re not familiar with, so please take that into account. Also, I live near a fire truck route in North Beacon Hill so there will be traffic noise.
“Stephanie did an amazing job with our dogs. They can be anxious when they are away from us, but she was so good with them and made them feel so comfortable. She also responds quickly and provided us with pictures and updates throughout our trip. She is also flexible and was understanding of our possible changes in our trip plans and the delay we had in getting back to pick them up. We would definitely have our dogs stay with her again in the future!”

“Kandice was an incredible care giver for my sweet Sidney. She sent lots of pictures and videos of him having the time of his life running around with his new friends. She treated him like he was another family member. Could not have asked for a better experience for my first night away from my baby. Will definitely be back!”

“Kirsten is amazing, she is super accommodating, actually cared for our needs and wants and was super quick to respond and provides photo updates. Our dog has separation anxiety and it isn't easy finding someone we think would be a good fit. 6 stars if I could, we have already booked again!”

“Macaley was absolutely wonderful! I could totally tell by her pictures, regular updates, and when I picked them up, that my little guys were happy and well taken care of. Macaley is very attentive to detail ,pleasant to talk to, and immediately put my dogs at ease at the meet and greet. Macaley also has a very calming space, a back yard and big park across the street which I know my dogs love. Macaley will definitely be preferred option for taking care of my dogs moving forward!!”

“Ana was wonderful! Every day she sent me photos and comment about the walks and beach visits she had done with Lucy. She also took extra care to ask about Lucy's medications and how best to keep Lucy cool on a couple of unusually hot days. Her young daughter gave Lucy lots of attention. When I picked Lucy up, I got the impression she would have been happy to stay longer! I highly recommend Ana and will definitely ask her to host Lucy again in the future.”
