“Laila took excellent care of my dog for 9 days. She sent me plenty of updates everyday and was always quick to respond. My dog is typically very shy and anxious around new people and dogs, but she became very happy and comfortable around Laila and the other dogs quite quickly. It’s clear that Laila has plenty of experience, love, and attention when taking care of dogs. I would definitely trust Laila to care for my dog again in the future!”

“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”

“Sarah did a great job with Hazel! She sent daily photos to let me know what they were up to and how Hazel was doing. Hazel had a great time, and I felt at ease knowing she was being well cared for. I would definitely work with Sarah again!”

“Thank you for taking excellent care of Plum!! It was a big help knowing she was in great hands with people who care about her. She’s looking forward to returning! Thank you!”

“Malvika & her family were fantastic sitters! They were very attentive with her schedule & medication & provided ample photos (all whole album worth!) + lots playtime & company for her. Highly recommend & can’t wait to have Momo stay with them again!! 🥰”

“Kenny was great about all his communication and took wonderful care of my dog Barney. He came home relaxed! I look forward to future appointments with Kenny.”

“Rose was amazing and Bozzie was so well looked after! She kept in constant communication and sent photos and he looked so happy! She’s so sweet and flexible and I’d trust her to take care of my baby anytime.”

“Vivian took care of our dog for nearly two weeks while we were out of the country. She sent pictures, she was very communicative around drop off/pick up, and our dog seemed to be comfortable and happy! I’d be more than happy to have her watch him again.”

“Martha was fabulous with our newly adopted pup, Cedric. We were so nervous about leaving him, but he warmed up to her right away during our meet and greet! She sent regular updates, which really helped ease my anxiety. Cedric had a great time!”

“Anhelina is the best cat sitter! She’s watched my cat, Simon, three times now, and every experience has been amazing. She sends me daily photo updates, is always quick to respond, and truly cares about Simon’s well-being. I always feel completely at ease knowing he’s in her care. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Emily did a meet and greet with my nervous dog the day before boarding and he could not have immediately loved her more. The next day he whined and pulled to get to her when we arrived. Emily sent pics and updates during his stay and even made him a jaunty new fashion accessory. 10/10!”

“Maria and Kalyan (and Nikko) provided excellent care for Hazel while I was away. Hazel can be a bit anxious when I leave her with a Rover, but they helped her settle in right away. They sent lots of photo and video updates, so I could trust that Hazel was being well-cared for. They really understand Aussies. And by the end of the weekend, Hazel was even caught holding hands with their dog Nikko! New bestie acquired! I would gladly book with them again, and I think Hazel would be thrilled as well.”

“Boston had such a blast at Kai's place. He enjoyed the rainy walks on the trail. He literally passed out after coming home. I believe Kai's family provided such great care and attention to our furry baby while we are away. Kai is also very flexible - with our flight being cancelled, he was able to sit Boston for a few more hours with short notice.”

“Elise and James were wonderful! We started with a lovely meet and greet so my anxious dog could get to know them and sniff their house before staying there for a few days. And while my dog was there they gave me plenty of photos and updates as to how she was doing. Will absolutely let my pup have another vacation with Elise and James!”

“Mckenna and her mom Shirley are the best caretakers of my wonderful old dog Chewie that I could ever imagine. He's near end of life now, but Mckenna still agreed to take him for a day in October even after his challenging week long stay at her house in September. Thank you, Mckenna and Shirley!”

“Chris and his dog family are so sweet. His house isn’t far from where our dog goes on walks sometimes. If we’re in the area our dog now gets excited and wants to go back to that house. Safe to say, he had a great time.”

“Emma loves coming to uncle Joe’s. He’s helped raise her as a little puppy. She’s so excited each time she spends time there. He’s very attentive to her needs. He will take care of your fur baby as if it’s his baby. I definitely will keep bringing Emma over”

About: I have cared for my own pug for over 13 years, so I understand the daily needs of dogs at different stages of life, including senior care. Our home environment is calm and comfortable, which works well for dogs that enjoy a relaxed setting. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so dogs staying with us receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. We also have a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed. Because we have a gentle senior pug at home, we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable place where dogs can relax and feel cared for while their owners are away. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so we are around throughout the day to give dogs attention, regular potty breaks, and walks. This also means dogs are rarely left alone for long periods of time. Our schedule is generally flexible, and we are able to accommodate regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, and walks throughout the day. Because we are home most of the time, we can keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure they are comfortable and well cared for. We provide a calm, safe home environment for dogs. “Stephanie has taken care of our diabetic cat twice now and has been excellent both times - she is very communicative and makes sure that we’re in the loop about our cat throughout our trips :) I highly recommend her services”

“Brooke was fantastic and had excellent communication. She took wonderful care of my cat Ophelia and kept me posted with photos and updates throughout the stay. She is kind, thoughtful and dependable. Would highly recommend!”

“Mandy took great care of my cat, playing with him, feeding him, giving him some love every day, and twice cleaning up after him when he rudely greeted her with hairballs. She sent me photos and reports every day while I was away, and it’s clear my cat was happy and well looked after.”

About: I am a non-smoking, animal loving, trustworthy pet professional. I understand the importance of having someone reliable and dependable to look after your furry family. I have a master’s degree and clinical license in social work. I would absolutely love to care for your pet(s) to bring some extra paw-sitivity into my days! I grew up in a household with five cats and one dog. Naturally, I learned how to care for both! Today, I live with two cats and one dog. My cats Olive and Basil are on a prescription diet to prevent urinary stones, so I am very familiar with working with cats with special dietary needs. Olive loves to play with string and Basil is a natural laser light predator. Knowing the cats play preferences helps a ton! Please keep me informed on your pet family’s needs so I can provide the care they need and deserve.

“Jennifer is always very prompt with replies (even to random inquiries unrelated to pet care!) and takes lots of photos on every visit which is great for the anxious pet owner. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with cats during high school and have a deep understanding of their unique personalities and needs. From keeping them entertained with play to ensuring they are well-fed and their spaces are clean, I am comfortable managing all aspects of daily care. I am patient, observant, and know how to respect a cat's boundaries while providing the affection they crave. Whether your cat is a high-energy kitten or a mellow senior, I’ll make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away.
“Carla came over for a meet and greet in advance and was accommodating with our timing given we had just moved. She was communicative and even brought over her own treats for our cats, one of whom was being scared in our new house so she calmed my nerves by spending extra time searching for him! She’s very friendly and clearly has a lot of experience with cats.”
About: I’ve recently started taking care of pets in my community after losing my lovely dog, Layla, to cancer. Doing so has been healing in ways that I could not have imagined!! I am so excited to continue this journey of love, support and healing. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. I work in office during the week, but close enough to home to allow the pups restroom breaks throughout the day. And of course, spending the evenings playing and snuggling with the doggos. My weekends are free to spend all the time with them. I follow the instructions form the caregiver and also listen to what each pet is telling me. I provide a calm yet playful attitude so that everyone feels comfortable.
“Jessica is a great pet sitter! I've had the same cat sitter for years, but she was unavailable. Stressful trying to determine who to trust w/my cat who has some anxiety. Jessica was amazing from the beginning at our meet and greet. She provided amazing details and photos during her visits and any of my initial fears quickly subsided. She understands the importance of her role and is incredibly kind and professional. Wouldn't hesitate to book with her again!”

“June (Hong) was great with my persnickety old cat! He needed twice a day visits for meds and had urinary issues; she did great with him and I got so many pics and updates. Will definitely be rebooking next time”

“Veronica was awesome. She took care of Lunita and his space for several days while we were out of the country. She even bought him treats because he was running low! I’ll definitely work with Veronica again 💛”

“Clare was right on time, communicative and took great care of my cat while I was gone. By the end of the visits, my cat felt comfortable enough to do a little leg rub!!! Would bring ok again!”

“Rose took wonderful care of my dogs, Pablo and BooBoo, during the day. She was incredibly flexible—there were times I had to pick them up late due to work, and she was very accommodating. She even provided a daycare card with pictures each day. I will definitely turn to her again for daycare or dog boarding. Thank you so much!”

“Chris has been absolutely amazing. I just moved from across the country with one of my three dogs, and he has been having a hard time adjusting to apartment life (aka screaming his head off). After I got an email from my property manager after my first day of work I was frantically looking for a sitter for the next day. Chris was not only able to accommodate Casper the following day after my request, but also last minute on a weekend for an event I was hosting. I cannot thank Chris enough for his help and for putting up with some of Casper’s antics.”

“Greatly appreciated Laila's photos, feedback, & the care she provided for Numá during his stay. I feel confident in recommending her service & will definitely use it again when the need arises. Thanks again for your kind assistance!”

About: I cared for my own two cats for over 5 years (they’ve since passed), and I’ve always loved being around animals. I’ve lived with dogs (thanks to dog-loving roommates and family) and I’ve dog-sat for friends for many years. I’m an expert cuddler, feeder, walker, and all-around caretaker. Whether your pup loves playtime or prefers a calm, cozy environment, I’ll treat them like family. I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company, we make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. I’m especially great with affectionate dogs and seniors who need a little extra care and patience. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs while you’re away! (Additional note: I’m happy to board larger dogs, as long as they’re older and super mellow. As a short woman, I just want to make sure I can stay in control on walks, and with small kids at home, I’m mindful about dogs who won’t jump up or accidentally knock them over.) I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company and they will get lots of love & attention. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. Doggy Daycare: Happy to host your dog during the weekdays, and provide plenty of cuddles, company, and walks. In my home, your dog will be treated like family! They’re free to roam the house, lounge on the furniture, and cuddle up with us. We have a large, almost fully fenced yard with plenty of space to explore and play (while we keep a close eye during outside time just in case). We also have great walking paths nearby for daily strolls. Whether it’s playtime, nap time, or cuddle time, your pup will get lots of attention and love throughout the day.
“Michelle was wonderful. We scheduled a meet and greet prior our first day. Albert and our puppy became instant bff. Throughout the day Michelle would send updates, photos and videos. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.”

“Lydia took Aggie in at last moment. Aggie is a shy dog but Lydia was able to get her comfortable in her. I loved the regular messages and video she kept sending us. Anytime we are in Seattle she will our go to person to care of Aggie. Thanks again Lydia.”

“Derek takes such good care of my pup! I have an opinionated husky girl. Because she doesn’t like to be left alone, I often lean on Derek to watch her. Yesterday they spent 3 hours outside and Aurora was happily exhausted when I picked her up.”

“They were excellent hosts, clearly our lil guy had such a nice time with them, I’ll definitely reach out to them if I were in town again, and need someone to take care of Olaf! The entire family engaged with Olaf and kept him company, can’t recommend them enough!”

“Outstanding care for Maggie-Roo. Perry's communication was excellent from the start. He was very welcoming and Maggie-Roo had a great time. He's clearly a "dog person" and specifically has experience with GSDs. Highly recommended. Thank you, Perry!”

“Heather and her husband Andres were wonderful! Sammie had a great time and got along with their sweet dog Noodles. Would absolutely have them take care of Sammie again!”

About: Hello! I have been dog and cat sitting for at least 20 years and have several active clients in Seattle currently. I have previously worked for a dog walking and sitting business in Maryland. I have cared for puppies from 6 months through to senior, special needs pups. While no one enjoys it, I am comfortable giving pills, injections, and other medications to both cats and dogs. In my dog walking business I have walked up to four pups at the same time. I love to go on long walks, even in the rain and wind, and can throw a ball for hours! I will take care of your home and your pup with the utmost respect and love. I am a home owner with two kitties and a toddler. We are working on getting them all comfortable with dogs but for the time being we can only subject them to guests for 4 days in a row max (or they may never forgive us). While I haven't found the perfect pup for my life yet, I am very excited to be able to share my house with dogs of all ages for short stints while I'm searching. I work from home and can let pups out to go to the bathroom as needed. I love a lunch walk to get me ready for the afternoon. I have a fenced yard and a patch of grass for regular bathroom breaks. The staircase is gated so we’re always within eyeshot of any canine visitors.
“Todd is awesome! He’s very detail oriented and listened to all of our tidbits about Ziggy before caring for him. He kept him active all day and spoiled him with the dog park, walks, and treats!”

“Pepe always loves hanging out with bowser, Tien and Jeanyee. They send frequent photos/videos and updates throughout the day too. It’s great to know he’s so well cared for while I’m at work”

“Morgan has given Snoopy a good care and needed attention during his daycare stay! Morgan took time to properly introduce Snoopy to other pups and ensured everyone was getting along ☺️🐾”

“Joesph was great to my pup Zeus. He took him on plenty of walks and even cleaned his paws afterwards! He also brushed him out, which I super appreciated. I loved the report card he filled out, very informative and lets me see how much fun Zeus is having through the day. I look forward to when he’s able to watch Zeus again.”

About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home dog lover offering doggy daycare in a home with a fenced backyard and a playful Golden Retriever. Your pup will get lots of attention, outdoor breaks, and playtime throughout the day. My three year old golden retriever, Almond, is very hyper, friendly, and always excited to meet new dogs, so daycare is best for pups who enjoy socializing and playing with others. What your dog’s day looks like • Morning introductions and playtime • Backyard potty breaks and fresh air throughout the day • Toys and enrichment activities • Afternoon naps and relaxation time • Lots of supervision since I work from home I also send photo and video updates so you can see how your dog’s day is going. My experience Friends and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their dogs, and I treat every pup like part of the family. My goal is to make daycare feel like a comfortable home away from home. Meet & greet I’m happy to set up a meet and greet to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone! 🐾 Looking forward to meeting your pup! I work fully remote Monday–Friday, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give dogs plenty of supervision, attention, and playtime. Dogs can go outside to the fenced backyard for potty breaks and fresh air whenever they need. Because I’m home most of the day, daycare fits naturally into my routine and I’m able to keep a close eye on all the dogs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I keep daycare small (just one other dog) so every dog gets plenty of attention. My home has a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and dogs are always supervised during play. If dogs need space to rest, there are cozy spots inside where they can relax.
“Olivia accepted my last minute request and I’m so thankful she did. She did a great job watching my dog and kept me updated along with pictures. Thank you so much!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for the last 5 years, with a variety of small Shih Tzus and a Golden Retriever for my uncle. I really want to get started in the pet sitting business. Your pets will have 100% of my attention as this is my gap year before law school and I have a lot of free time to help take care of fur babies. I have a fenced in yard so dogs can play safely, and another small Shih Tzu that is friendly around other dogs. I try to walk dogs three times a day, and spend the rest of the time hanging out with them.

About: Hi! I'm Maggie, I'm a Seattle based animal caregiver ✨ I care for a wide range of animals through my volunteer work at two local animal sanctuaries. I'm drawn to the animals that need a little extra patience, whether that's a shy rescue or an anxious baby who needs a calm, predictable routine to feel safe. My background is in operations management, which sounds unrelated, but it means I'm able to follow routines and notice if/when something's off. I communicate proactively so you're never left wondering how your pet is doing and I make sure to give each animal real, individual attention. 💖 I am flexible, prompt, and ready to take care of your furry friend. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! 🥰 Since I know no furry friend is the same, I follow each pet's existing routine as closely as possible. Before any stay or visit I make sure the space is secure and safe and I send regular photo updates so owners aren't left guessing. In my own home I maintain a calm, structured environment, and I apply that same energy in a client's space. I treat every home like it's my own and every pet like they're Ky.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was young, starting with my childhood dog and now my own little kitty. I have continued to care for cats and dogs over the years for family, friends, and Rover clients, winning over even the shyest of pets. I will treat your pet like family! I have experience with senior cats and dogs, as well as reactive dogs. I am comfortable administering oral medication. I plan to spend as much time as I possibly can with your beloved fur baby. I work part time per diem currently so I may be out of the house for a few hours occasionally, but this would be discussed prior to any stay. I will spend the majority of the time during with your pet. I will follow all safety and care instructions a client may have for their home. I can easily adjust to any requirements a pet owner may have to ensure the safety of their beloved pet and their home.

“Anaish was amazing and so kind to my dog! There’s definitely a reason for so many five star reviews. Couldn’t thank her enough for all the help. We will be repeat customers for sure.”

About: I’ve always had an unusually strong connection with animals—especially shy or anxious ones. Dogs and cats that are nervous around others tend to warm up to me quickly, often surprising their owners. I grew up with four dogs and have experience reading behavior, giving space when needed, and building trust at the animal’s pace. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. I don’t have pets of my own right now, which means I can give your pet my full attention and treat them like they’re my own while you’re away. I’m currently working remote and part time, and I frequently walk around the Seward park and Columbia city neighborhoods for exercise. I have plenty of time and ability to fit pet care into my routine. I will be unable to host your pet, but when I am welcomed into a clients home I do my best to respect the peace and harmony of another’s space and I always strive to leave the home in the exact condition in which I found it.
About: Aside from growing up with pets, I spent a year as a dog walker/runner prior to Rover and love all animals (dogs and cats included). Here to help neighbors and friends of South Seattle! I am a working professional with a flexible remote schedule. I am available anytime Mondays and Fridays for walks, drop ins, and playdates in Columbia City, Hillman City, Beacon Hill and Seward Park. Keeping your dog relaxed and loved, with your home clean and comfortable, is the priority! Happy to cleanup midday messes, feed and crate, and cater walks as needed.

“Emma loves coming to uncle Joe’s. He’s helped raise her as a little puppy. She’s so excited each time she spends time there. He’s very attentive to her needs. He will take care of your fur baby as if it’s his baby. I definitely will keep bringing Emma over”

“Once again, Claudia was the perfect caretaker of our little corgi and all the photos and updates only showed they were all having fun! I will always want to book care for Friday with her and know my little one will we showered with affection and the best care.”

“Kandice took great care of Yuki (my puppy) during her week-long stay. Kandice has two lovely adult labs at home and also some visitor dogs during Yuki's stay. They all became great friends with Yuki and had always been very gentle and patient with my energetic puppy. Yuki really enjoyed having a yard to play in and a bunch of fluffy friends to share her joy with. Kandice sent me very high quality pictures every day (I guess she took the photos with a DSLR). Kandice kindly followed my lengthy 'caring instructions'. She even took Yuki on walk alone (not with other dogs) in order to better work on some puppy behaviors of Yuki. I will definitely let Kandice watch Yuki again in the future. It's not only a watching for Yuki, it's more like a wonderful vacation. Thank you Kandice!”

“Ashley was awesome! I had major oral surgery and needed him cared for so I could heal without having to worry about my dogs care and she took such good care of my migi and sent me lots of updates and photos in the 6 nights she had him. She was very accommodating as well when we needed to change or do things differently in migi’s favor. Will def book her again in the future! Highly recommend 10/10.”

“Davis gladly accepted taking care of Esther for 10 days while I was traveling. I am grateful for him taking this on without hesitation. I recommend him for his kindness & love of animals. Also he is a charming young man.”

“Our pup had the best stay with Stephanie and Scotty! They were great about accommodating all of my and my husband’s requests, especially because our girl can be anxious around new environments and people. Frequent updates kept us at ease, and we look forward to booking with them again very soon!”

“Wanqing was wonderful! She took care of my dog, Goldie, in my home for the afternoon. Goldie rarely lets anyone pick her up, but she was sitting in Wanqing's lap when I got home. Wanqing was arrived on time, actually early, was friendly and communicative during my time away. I definitely recommend Wanqing and will request her to dog sit Goldie again!”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful taking care of Teddy. Teddy had lots of fun playing with Samantha, meeting her friends and taking very long walks with her! Samantha was so patient with Teddy when he was first nervous. She sent me consistent updates on Teddy & each time, it looked like he was having a blast. In fact, after she took care of Teddy, Teddy & I ran into her on a walk and he was soooo excited to see her again. Definitely recommend Samantha - she was kind, responsive, and made Teddy feel right at home in her place.”

“The best sitters. My girl came back home happy, healthy, and ready for a nap! They were so communicative and sweet to my dog, took her on walks and sent pictures everyday. Amazing rovers!”
