About: I have been caring for a wide range of pets since I was 10 years old, growing up with dogs, cats, and Guinea pigs. As a kid I would frequently walk neighbors dogs and look after pets when my neighbors were away. My love for animals led me to volunteer at a veterinary hospital when I was 14, which turned into a job at 16. I have 8 years experience working with a local vet and 35 years experience as a pet caretaker and owner. Our family currently has our big boy, Bear. He is a calm and patient 8 year old 150lb silver lab with food allergies and other medical needs, so we have experience in administering oral, topical and injectable medications, as well as dealing with dietary restrictions. We look forward to caring for your dog! We are an active family, so multiple walks a day are standard. I work from home, so we are always around to give your doggo the love and care they deserve. Our home is situated in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street close by multiple parks. We have a secure, fully fenced 3500 square foot backyard with access into the house through a dog door. Our dog is fed twice a day, but can accommodate any feeding/potty break schedule your dog has.

About: Welcome to Bud’s house 🐾 This is not a “drop your dog and hope for the best” situation — this is a play, cuddle, and feel-at-home experience. I helped build a dog daycare here in Seattle, so I’ve spent years learning how dogs actually behave—who wants to play, who needs a break, and how to make sure everyone stays safe and happy. At home, we keep that same vibe—but way more personal. Our dog Bud (2 years old) is the host. About: Our family had a wonderful lab - Mabel Mae - for 13 years. We miss her dearly. We cherish dogs (and pets broadly) and want to help ensure peace of mind for families when they need dog care. Each dog is treated like a family member in our house. We would be honored to help provide a service for pet families. About: Thank you for viewing my profile. Please read it in its entirety before sending a boarding request, as a lot of your questions can be answered in the text. The two questions i get the most are am I home all day with the dogs and how many dogs do you watch at one time? I am retired so except for running errands, etc, your dog(s) will be supervised at all times.I DO watch dogs from different households at the same time, having had as many as 8 Rover dogs at once If this is a concern I invite you to come down and meet us, to see how mellow and manageable it is, and how happy the dogs are to be in the company of other dogs. I never watch a dog without meeting it first so this ensures that everyone gets along and it's a good fit. My mom runs a no-kill animal shelter in Florida so I guess you could say it's in my blood. I currently have 2 dogs (the last dog i adopted was from an elderly Rover client who could no longer take care of him) but i've had as many as 4 at one time. Always small dogs, which is what I'm most comfortable with. I've adopted, loved and cared for dogs through all their stages of life, in "sickness and in health", so I'm quite aware of the quirkiness that comes with a dog that has a history. At the moment I’m not boarding puppies because my older dogs can’t handle all the high energy of the youngsters. Nothing brings me more joy than watching these little dogs come out of their shell during the stay. Their tail going from tucked, unsure, "what am I doing here", to full wag! Many owners have told me that when they get to the top of my hill their dog starts getting excited, they know they're coming to my house and they are happy about it. They march right up my steps with zero hesitation. They might not sleep with us on day one, but they almost always find their way into the bed by the time they leave. My goal is to have them feel like one of the pack, loved and secure, safe and happy. I recently retired after 40+ years in the hospitality industry so I will be home with your dog(s) day and night. There's nothing i love more than being in the company of dogs, so watching them is my passion. I will treat your dog(s) like my own. I live in the Arroyo's, a private beach neighborhood in Arbor Heights, West Seattle. I have a gate on the front door so the dogs can't run out if the door opens, though there's hardly any traffic where I live. I have a fully fenced in backyard, perfect for potty breaks and sunbathing. Your dog will never be left unattended in the yard .Inside I have dog beds throughout the house that move with the sunspot. I have cameras to watch the dogs when i'm not home (spoiler alert, they sleep), and WE HAVE AC!

About: Howdy! I’ve been around dogs/cats my whole life and even worked in pet retail! I love animals and can provide all of the love they need/deserve. I have many friends and family members who have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and love their fur babies. I’m at home for most or all of the week, besides having to run errands here and there. Because of this, I have plenty of time and flexibility to provide the attention your pet needs. :) I will abide by the rules of your household and make sure your pet is safe and in my company always, if necessary. During walks, I will make sure they are on leash and cleaned up after! At your house, I will feed them whenever their meal times are and give them the attention they want and love. I will also always keep an eye on them to make sure they behave, and tell them "no" when necessary!
About: Welcome to Bud’s house 🐾 This is not a “drop your dog and hope for the best” situation — this is a play, cuddle, and feel-at-home experience. I helped build a dog daycare here in Seattle, so I’ve spent years learning how dogs actually behave—who wants to play, who needs a break, and how to make sure everyone stays safe and happy. At home, we keep that same vibe—but way more personal. Our dog Bud (2 years old) is the host. He’s friendly, playful, and great with other dogs—basically the guy who makes sure everyone feels welcome. If your dog likes to play, they’ll have a blast. If they prefer to chill, we’ve got cozy spots for that too. My wife (originally from Colombia 🇨🇴) has been around dogs her whole life and brings a ton of warmth and attention to every pup that walks through the door. Dogs basically run our schedule 😊 We walk Bud three times a day, and since we’re home most of the day, there’s always someone around for playtime, snuggles, or a quick potty break. Your dog just joins right in. In our home, dogs are part of the daily routine—not just “watched.” We provide structured care with three walks a day, supervised play, and plenty of downtime when needed. We do have a partially fenced yard, but we don’t rely on it—dogs are always supervised outside and primarily get their exercise through regular walks. Because of my daycare background, I pay close attention to each dog’s personality—whether they want to play, relax, or have their own space—and make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

“I highly recommend Elle for all your dog sitting needs. She was warm, communicative, and most importantly, took great care of our two dogs. She seems to truly love and understand our dogs and is very patient and affectionate toward them. One of them is quite young (just over a year) and high energy and I felt confident that Elle would be able to manage him and make sure he got what he needed and he even made new pup friends while he was there, which is great for his socialization! Our other dog is older and much mellower and was on several medications, and Elle made sure he got them all when needed.
