I work full-time, 100% remotely, with a flexible schedule that allows me to leave during the afternoon if needed. I'd be able to petsit any weekday after noon, into the evenings, and all day on weekends.

I am not accepting requests to board animals at my home at this time. When visiting a client’s home, I treat your space with the respect and care I would my own home. I recognize that this is a safe space for your pet and I am an unfamiliar human coming into their territory who needs to earn their trust. I am an exceptionally tidy person who will always clean up after myself and after your pets, and I will always keep you updated if something out of the ordinary happens in your home. I will faithfully honor all your requests and instructions and do my best to put both you and your pet at ease.

Please let me know about any specific feeding, toilet, or play habits and if your pet has had any recent or ongoing medical concerns. For dogs, please let me know how your dog reacts to other dogs/animals and if there are any behaviors you want me to encourage or discourage from them.
A typical day
I will make sure your pets are stimulated through play and affection, in addition to meeting their feeding and hygiene needs. If you provide me with their favorite toys, I'll be happy to play with them and make sure they are exercised and entertained. For dogs and leash-harnessed cats, I'd love to take them on walks around your neighborhood or to nearby parks (with your explicit permission, of course).

I know what it's like to plan a relaxing vacation or prepare to visit family and feel that nagging guilt at having to leave your furry companion behind. I'm here to help alleviate your anxiety and ensure your pet receives the best care while you're away on your adventures! In 2021, I worked as a full-time petsitter and dog-walker, and while I have not been active on Rover since then, I have continued to catsit for friends. I have recently lived with 3 cats and 1 dog, all of whom I love interacting with and sometimes perform care tasks for. I currently work full-time from home as a project manager, so I'm a pro at handling schedules and keeping track of multiple pets and their individual care needs. I have a flexible schedule which allows me to do drop-in care or dog walks during the afternoon or in the evenings on work days, and any time on weekends. I also have experience caring for reptiles, bunnies, and guinea pigs and I speak fluent Spanish. I would also be happy to water your plants and bring in your mail or packages; just give me a heads up beforehand!

Maria has been SO wonderful with my baby buddy Pocari. She is incredibly in-tune with cats' needs, and has even gone as far as recognizing the signs of urinary crystals for my cat when I was out of the country. Time and time again I have been so thankful for her wonderful pictures, her genuine love for my cat, and her incredible knowledge about feline-kind in general.
Maria has watched my 2 dogs & cat a couple times now. She responds to communication quickly & came for a meet n greet beforehand. She was able to play with our rambunctious boxer as well as take our 16yo tiny chihuahua on a slow & steady walk. She sent pictures of all animals each day showing they were each healthy & happy.
