“Kassidy was great. She was very kind during our meet and greet, and made sure she took Oakley on a good length walk during her time. Oakley loves her and was very content when I got home. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life, from my own pets to those of friends and neighbors who trusted me with their companions. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs, and even horses—giving me experience with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. Now that I’m retired, I have the flexibility to dedicate my time fully to pet care. My open schedule means I can provide consistent attention, regular walks, playtime, and companionship when your pets need it most! Your pet’s well-being always comes first. I provide reliable care in the comfort of your pet’s own home, keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’m attentive to details, quick to notice any changes, and committed to treating every animal as if they were my own.
About: I have been around animals my whole life and adore all living creature. I have experience caring for small dogs, medium dogs and house cats. I am currently focusing on my freelance art career so my schedule is flexible and open to accommodate individual needs to provide the most convenient pet care possible. Safety and trust are very important to me and I work hard to maintain a calm environment and consistent schedule for any animals I care for to ensure that they are safe and free of anxiety.

“Kin has helped me out several times now when I’ve been away. She’s been responsive, timely, and reliable each time. I feel most comfortable with her as my Rover!”

“Couldn't recommend Paige enough!. I have a reactive pug so I'm always very anxious whenever he meets new people as he can be a little vocal at times. However when we met Paige she immediately knew how to approach him and within seconds he picked up his favorite toy to show her!. Paige was very detailed when giving feed back about her and my boys walk and also had plenty of patience with him when he went into stubborn mode and stopped on their walk! .We will definitely be reaching out again 😊”

About: I'm an animal lover who has owned and boarded dogs from high-energy pups to seniors requiring special attention. I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds, temperaments, and needs. I’m dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, 'home away from home' stay for your dog. Your dog will enjoy a pet-friendly home on a dead-end street with a huge, fenced-in yard for plenty of secure playtime and potty breaks and nearby trails for walks. My goal is to ensure your dog feels like family while you're away, offering you peace of mind. I am passionate about creating an environment where your dog can thrive and enjoy their vacation as much as you do! I work from home, so your dog's routine will closely follow their schedule from home. A typical day includes, early morning yard access and neighborhood walks, feeding times per your instructions, plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and cuddle sessions. Why Choose My Home? I have a huge, fenced-in yard and located on a quiet dead-end street with access to nearby walking trails. Your dog(s) will enjoy peaceful, enriching adventures and exercise away from heavy traffic. There are no other pets or children in the home, and I offer exclusive pet sitting for an additional fee. Otherwise, no more than 3 dogs at a time. My experience has taught me how to read dog body language and handle different personalities, ensuring all interactions are positive and stress-free. I am comfortable and skilled in administering medications (pills/oral liquids) according to your specific instructions (*with the exception of injections). Dogs are allowed to roam the house freely and relax comfortably in dog-friendly spaces—no kennels or crates unless requested by you!
About: Do you have a feisty feline? Raucous rover? Fearful fido? I love all animals, but I have a big heart for dogs and cats who need a little extra understanding and TLC. I fostered cats and dogs and walked shelter dogs of all ages and breeds for 20 years, in addition to sitting pets independently for several years and having my own cats and dogs my entire life. I have training and experience in fear-free/force-free handling (positive reinforcement) and a good understanding of dog body language. I love getting to know each animal as an individual, with their own preferences and quirks. I also have experience caring for puppies and kittens, as well as senior animals. I am comfortable administering medications, injections and sub-Q fluids. For dogs who prefer to exercise/potty in their own yards, I can spend time playing brain games and doing light training to provide enrichment. If you have a particularly energetic pup, I am also available for longer hikes in local parks. I am transitioning to making pet care my main job, and I'm available most days and times, unless I'm traveling myself. I'm happy to do drop-ins and walks on weekends. Safety is my top priority. For walks, I make sure that the dog has a well-fitting harness and a collar with identification. I typically use a waist belt for larger dogs, so they are attached to me and cannot pull away. Out in the world, we will maintain a safe distance from other dogs at all times. I will want to know if your dog has any history of escaping or bolting when frightened. With both dogs and cats, I am extremely cautious around doors, since I have plenty of experience with escape artists (please let me know if this has been an issue with your pet). I require an initial meet and greet so that I can get to know your pet and their needs.
“Melissa was so easy to communicate with both for initial meet up and scheduling. She gave great updates on her time with Ted and I would definitely book with her again.”

About: Taking care of a dog is a serious job. I take care to make sure everything requested is done properly and that the animal is happy and safe! I'm an artist, so my schedule is very open! I will always prioritize the animals in my life. I will do what needs to be done to keep them safe and happy 😊 I love to give lots of attention if the animal is into that, but if not I’m happy to just make sure they are sorted. Either way I want the animal to be fed, happy and comfortable!
“Doug has only had one dog walker and I was nervous when I had to find someone new, but Lauren is absolutely fantastic and eased any worries I had within moments of meeting her. Doug adores her and is especially excited when she brings her pup Sophie along. I’m fairly certain Doug looks forward to me going to work now so he can hang out with Lauren. 😁”

About: I've been a dog & cat mom my entire life, and I've never met an animal I didn't immediately love. I have a pug and a cat, but I love dogs and cats of all shapes/sizes/ages/shedding capacity/etc. Fun fact: I saved one of my pugs during a heat stroke, so I can think on my feet in a high pressure situation. I've had multiple pups live to 15-16 years old, so I also know my way around a senior pup. As an avid runner and hiker, I will happily exercise your best friend as much as he/she needs. I am the one my friends turn to when they need a pet sitter; not only do their pups have a blast, I am super attentive and always provide updates and status texts so they don't have to worry. I currently work full-time remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible! At home, pets go out several times a day - if dropping by your place for a checkin, let me know a few days in advance when you need me to be there and I'll make sure to clear my schedule for that time. My townhouse does not have a fenced in yard, so any outdoors time happens on leash. I'm close to Green Lake for long walks or the dog park. In my house, the pets have free range of the house - since I'm almost always home, I always have an eye on them.
About: I am an animal lover who has cared for dogs since I was a young child. I also have months of experience cat sitting for my friends and family. I am communicative, responsible, and find genuine joy in taking care of animals. You can rely on me to treat your babies as if they were my own. I work for an Indigenous arts nonprofit completely from home so my schedule is very flexible to look after your fur babies. Whether you'd like them to stay with me or need me to drop in, my schedule can adapt to you and your pets needs. At my home your pet will be provided with a safe and loving environment. I have a small Yorkie/Chihuahua mix named Slayer who is as sweet as can be (despite her name lol). She has lived with other small dogs before and loves to play after warming up to them. She has also spent a total of a few months over time living with a cat. She approaches cats with caution and curiosity and will play with them once they are both comfortable. Cats will be cats and have swatted at her and she remains calm and has never retaliated. If caring for your pet(s) at your home, I will treat your space with the utmost respect. I will take my shoes off, follow instructions with care, and leave your home in the same state I found it in.
“I’m so grateful Minerva was able to walk my dog! She was always prompt to communicate, and so friendly and kind in person as well. She left me great notes and so many photos at the end of each walk. I couldn’t be more happy with how she treated my pup and I! Highly recommend!!”

About: I've cared for pets of all shapes and sizes since childhood and am myself a current cat owner. I have experience with senior pets and pets that have special dietary or medicinal requirements. I also love young pets, full if energy and excitement! I'm an outdoors lover and rain or shine am happy to hit the pavement to make sure your fur-baby gets excercise! I'm currently a part time evening student with plenty of time and energy to devote to your pets. I get genuine joy and fulfillment working part time with hospitalized and crohnically ill children and use rover to get even more joy in my day! I use care, critical thinking, caution and good-judgement when your pet is in my care. Walks are conducted solo with your pet to ensure I can pay close attention and take them on a safe route. When in your home, I'll treat it with respect and devote my time to being a great co-habitator with your pet! I'm skilled in laser-pointing, fetch-tossing and zoomies.
“John was great! He was in time, super friendly and engaging. I instantly felt comfortable letting my dog go out with him. John walks fast too which is good thing for my energetic pup. I will be using John in the future for sure!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have a particular fondness for large dogs. Own cats currently but deeply familiar with dog requirements. Love to take doggos for long walks and play time. I work retail full time so my schedule varies but I am committed and able to make visits before and after work and, of course, during my days off. Love spending time and playing with fur babies. I have the utmost respect for a person's home and safe space. Always happy to follow any house rules to maintain a trusted relationship and make your animal feel safe and loved while you're away.
About: I have volunteered in animal shelters growing up. I would say I have a lot of patience when it comes to dogs and am down to stop at every leaf they wana sniff at. I am available in the middle of the week so Tuesday- Thursdays. So i have time during the week to take care of your dog. If you have a fenced area I will be sure to pay close attention to your dog. And if we go for a walk they will be on a leash:)
“Allie has been incredible with my dog, Torrey who can be quite anxious around new people. Allie quickly earned her trust and has been nothing short of amazing. She took the time to understand Torrey’s fears and worked patiently to make her feel comfortable. It’s clear Allie genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, and her calm and attentive approach has made a world of difference. I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she’s given Torrey. Highly recommend Allie for anyone looking for a caring and professional sitter/dog walker!”

Greenwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Had to work from home today and schedule a last-minute walk for my dog so she wouldn’t go crazy at home. Adrian immediately responded to me and fit me into her schedule as soon as she could. Adrian was so helpful and waited patiently as I got out of my meetings to take my dog/drop my dog off. I let her know that my dog is a little bit shy and of course with Adrian’s calm presence, Callie didn’t hesitate going with her, even though it was the first time they met. As I write this, callie is completely passed out after her walk. Couldn’t be happier.
