Your dog will enjoy a pet-friendly home on a dead-end street with a huge, fenced-in yard for plenty of secure playtime and potty breaks and nearby trails for walks. My goal is to ensure your dog feels like family while you're away, offering you peace of mind. I am passionate about creating an environment where your dog can thrive and enjoy their vacation as much as you do! I work from home, so your dog's routine will closely follow their schedule from home. A typical day includes, early morning yard access and neighborhood walks, feeding times per your instructions, plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and cuddle sessions. Why Choose My Home? I have a huge, fenced-in yard and located on a quiet dead-end street with access to nearby walking trails. Your dog(s) will enjoy peaceful, enriching adventures and exercise away from heavy traffic. There are no other pets or children in the home, and I offer exclusive pet sitting for an additional fee. Otherwise, no more than 3 dogs at a time. My experience has taught me how to read dog body language and handle different personalities, ensuring all interactions are positive and stress-free. I am comfortable and skilled in administering medications (pills/oral liquids) according to your specific instructions (*with the exception of injections). Dogs are allowed to roam the house freely and relax comfortably in dog-friendly spaces—no kennels or crates unless requested by you!

About: Do you have a feisty feline? Raucous rover? Fearful fido? I love all animals, but I have a big heart for dogs and cats who need a little extra understanding and TLC. I fostered cats and dogs and walked shelter dogs of all ages and breeds for 20 years, in addition to sitting pets independently for several years and having my own cats and dogs my entire life. I have training and experience in fear-free/force-free handling (positive reinforcement) and a good understanding of dog body language. I love getting to know each animal as an individual, with their own preferences and quirks. I also have experience caring for puppies and kittens, as well as senior animals. I am comfortable administering medications, injections and sub-Q fluids. For dogs who prefer to exercise/potty in their own yards, I can spend time playing brain games and doing light training to provide enrichment. If you have a particularly energetic pup, I am also available for longer hikes in local parks. I am transitioning to making pet care my main job, and I'm available most days and times, unless I'm traveling myself. I'm happy to do drop-ins and walks on weekends. Safety is my top priority. For walks, I make sure that the dog has a well-fitting harness and a collar with identification. I typically use a waist belt for larger dogs, so they are attached to me and cannot pull away. Out in the world, we will maintain a safe distance from other dogs at all times. I will want to know if your dog has any history of escaping or bolting when frightened. With both dogs and cats, I am extremely cautious around doors, since I have plenty of experience with escape artists (please let me know if this has been an issue with your pet). I require an initial meet and greet so that I can get to know your pet and their needs.

About: Taking care of a dog is a serious job. I take care to make sure everything requested is done properly and that the animal is happy and safe! I'm an artist, so my schedule is very open! I will always prioritize the animals in my life. I will do what needs to be done to keep them safe and happy 😊 I love to give lots of attention if the animal is into that, but if not I’m happy to just make sure they are sorted. Either way I want the animal to be fed, happy and comfortable!

About: I've been a dog & cat mom my entire life, and I've never met an animal I didn't immediately love. I have a pug and a cat, but I love dogs and cats of all shapes/sizes/ages/shedding capacity/etc. Fun fact: I saved one of my pugs during a heat stroke, so I can think on my feet in a high pressure situation. I've had multiple pups live to 15-16 years old, so I also know my way around a senior pup. As an avid runner and hiker, I will happily exercise your best friend as much as he/she needs. I am the one my friends turn to when they need a pet sitter; not only do their pups have a blast, I am super attentive and always provide updates and status texts so they don't have to worry. I currently work full-time remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible! At home, pets go out several times a day - if dropping by your place for a checkin, let me know a few days in advance when you need me to be there and I'll make sure to clear my schedule for that time. My townhouse does not have a fenced in yard, so any outdoors time happens on leash. I'm close to Green Lake for long walks or the dog park. In my house, the pets have free range of the house - since I'm almost always home, I always have an eye on them.

I have a small Yorkie/Chihuahua mix named Slayer who is as sweet as can be (despite her name lol). She has lived with other small dogs before and loves to play after warming up to them. She has also spent a total of a few months over time living with a cat. She approaches cats with caution and curiosity and will play with them once they are both comfortable. Cats will be cats and have swatted at her and she remains calm and has never retaliated. If caring for your pet(s) at your home, I will treat your space with the utmost respect. I will take my shoes off, follow instructions with care, and leave your home in the same state I found it in.

About: I have volunteered in animal shelters growing up. I would say I have a lot of patience when it comes to dogs and am down to stop at every leaf they wana sniff at. I am available in the middle of the week so Tuesday- Thursdays. So i have time during the week to take care of your dog. If you have a fenced area I will be sure to pay close attention to your dog. And if we go for a walk they will be on a leash:)
