Dogs love my fun energy and positive reinforcement and they feel confident with me. Cats trust my calm demeanor and know they are in charge of all our interactions. As a dog & cat mom, I'm a pro with all aspects of pet care, even the gross parts. It's important to me to stick to your routine as much as possible to give your pet the best walking or sitting experience! All dogs who stay with me at doggy daycare or overnight boarding will get a goodie bag to take home. Let me know ahead of their stay if they have dietary restrictions, allergies, or if we're staying away from treats :) I'm 100% focused on pet care right now and can adapt to your schedule or routine depending on your pet's needs. I spend a few hours with my own pets each day which can flex around your schedule or be combined with time I spend with your pet, if agreed upon ahead of time. My house is a dog wonderland! All furniture is dog friendly and there is a fully fenced, private yard for dogs to access whenever they want. Meals are served in separate rooms to keep everyone safe and happy. Cats are welcome here too - the entire upstairs can be closed off so they can have private space away from my dog with no risk of accidental escapes outside.

About: I absolutely adore all dogs and love to help dog owners give their pets the love and lifestyle they deserve. I have lived with dogs my entire life and consistently pet sat. I’m very organized/punctual and will consistently provide updates on your sweet pup. I’m available for dog walking, play/potty breaks, house sitting, and boarding (provided it is a good fit). Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions! I have a flexible schedule so am available to walk or provide a play/potty break for your pup throughout the work day. I have availability for dog sitting or boarding any day of the week as long as I have 2-3 days of a heads up given. I tailor my care to each specific dog. I’m happy to provide long or short walks, brain/sniff games or fetch! I’m always always always ready to give the pup a snuggle or pets if they enjoy physical touch. At my home I have a small fenced yard that dogs can explore while I am outside with them. I live on a quiet street with a pedestrian first street which is perfect for walks. Dogs are allowed on the couch (we have to have a place to snuggle!) and will be crated when I am gone (never more than 3 hours during the day) and for bed time.

About: I’ve loved caring for animals since I was a teenager, when I started pet sitting for family, friends, and eventually through referrals. About: (They/Them) I have lifelong experience with raising and taking care of various pets. There was never a time in my life where my family hasn't had at least one cat or dog! In my younger years, I have helped take care of smaller dogs like Yorkies and Westies, and in older years, bigger breeds like Pitbulls (I have the most experience with them!), Rottweilers, Great Danes, etc. I'm both a dog and cat person! Cats are also my bread and butter, I love any cat with all my heart. I have also raised several fish and the occasional lizard. I do not mind jumpy animals at all and have a lot of patience with skittish ones. I am experienced with both young and elderly animals. I am familiar with administering oral and topical medications as a recent caretaker of an elderly (19 years old) cat, and 13 and 11 year old Pitbulls. I am very detail oriented and will triple-check any medication dosages or food amounts. I love to spoil pets as well and give lots of affection and/or may sneak a little treat or two if you allow! ;) My parents, roommates, and friends often call me as a first resort to sit their animals while away on vacation. As an introvert, spending time with animals is my happy place! Working for Rover will be my (flexible) full time job! Most of my time commitments outside of work will be band rehearsals, performances, and nerdy activities that fuel my creative side. I am a huge night owl so I will tend to gravitate towards evening needs or overnights, but do not mind a lovely dog walk during the day! SPECIFICS: Wednesdays and Thursdays I have rehearsals in the evenings, so daytime only availability. If I am booked for an overnight, expect that on a W or Th I will be gone for 3-4 hrs those evenings depending on your location. Saturdays are usually busy for me from late Spring - early Fall, but this can be case by case. Lets chat. :) I am very respectful of other's spaces and dislike leaving messes. I operate with a "leave no trace" or "leave it better than you found it" type of attitude. About: My experience with dogs: -obedience training -puppies -energetic breeds -grooming/bathing -giving medication I live in a pet-friendly house with a fenced yard and near Greenlake and I have have hosted many dogs prior. I am an active individual (I teach Martial Arts) and I would rather hang out with animals than just about anything else. I am patient and consistent and will give my full attention to you pet when they are under my care. I am also more than happy to reinforce any training and behavior correction etc. you are working on with your dog. My teaching schedule offers some flexibility and I start my workday at noon during the week. Wednesdays and Sundays I have available and devoted specifically to dog-walking and sitting.

About: Over the years, my husband and I have shared our lives with all kinds of dogs: farm dogs, little dogs, a Great Dane in a studio apartment, and now our Mini Australian Shepherd. “Alex loved staying at Rachel’s while we were gone! She took amazing care of him and was able to get him through an unfortunate bout of diarrhea. He was taken out to the parks and on walks a lot and he seemed super happy with her. Could not recommend her more”
“Michael was an amazing sitter for my dog and communicator for me!! We had a last minute schedule change and were traveling to Seattle unexpectedly. Michael was so helpful and accommodating to make this work with less notice than usual! He was prompt and communicative sending me pictures of Sox updates along the way. His dog Ellie was very chill and seemed to get along with Sox great. I definitely would (and will!) work with Michael again!”
