About: I have been trusted with friends and families fur babies for almost 8 years, and had many years living with dogs as well. I have experience giving medication, caring for dogs in times of stress and anxiety, and of course going on daily walks. I have stayed overnight with dogs whose parents are out of town and I have experience with bigger dogs, as well as smaller breeds. I have also cared for a wide array of personalities as all dogs are very different, I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and how to have a good time with them. I work part time and have plenty of mornings available for pet care, I only work late nights once or twice a week and am almost always available after 8/9pm if needed. I am often going on a walk daily and bringing a dog along with me is even better! I am always making sure to cater to a dogs wants and needs, whether that be outside time running laps and playing fetch, or having down time inside and just hanging out. I understand that each dogs needs are different and being able to provide them with a fulfilling day is something I love!

About: I’ve been taking care of all of the dogs in my neighborhood, and that my parents friends have had since I was in elementary school. I have an 11 year old miniature poodle mix that I trained myself but I’ve always loved dogs of all breeds. I’m quite strong and can handle dogs both rambunctious and huge with ease. I’m currently back from college for the summer and don’t have a lot going on (aside from taking care of my own dog) so I’m home and available all day most days (aside from when I occasionally go stay with my long term partner for a weekend or so). I decided to start working with Rover because I love animals and I’m happier when I have such a fun reason to get some exercise and leave my house :) I have a large grassy (and freshly fenced) in backyard to play in and live in proximity to parks for some off leash time, and also make sure to take dogs on sniff-walks for some gossip. I make sure to adequately mentally and physically stimulate all dogs/cats in my care in whatever way best suits them depending on their breed and personalities. I also make sure to follow house rules and instructions to the letter and keep my clients updated on how things are going with photos, videos, as well as update messages.
“Paula was so amazing with our girl Mizu. Mizu canbe hesitant with strangers but warmed up to Paula quickly and became super excited for their daily walks together. We use a gentle lead for Mizu bc she is a big puller as well, and Paula was already familiar with them. She was super communicative and accommodating, so I highly recommend her!”

“Felix is an absolutely phenomenal dog walker, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From day one, it was clear how incredibly detail-oriented he is. I always looked forward to his playful, creative reports after every single walk, not to mention the steady stream of great photos and videos he sent. It gave me so much peace of mind during the day. What really sets Felix apart is his professional background. Knowing he has experience training champion boxers made me completely confident during our initial meet-and-greet. I have a 65 lb reactive Belgian Malinois mix, Murphy, and finding someone who can safely and confidently handle him is tough. Felix’s expertise shined through immediately, and he handles Murphy like a total pro. If you need someone reliable, highly skilled, and genuinely invested in your dog's well-being, Felix is your guy!”

“Meagan is great! She regularly walks our dog and sends wonderful photos and updates! Our dog Mabel also gets along great with her dog Baker and they are great playmates, which is a real bonus. Definitely recommend!”

“Leslie helped us out with a last minute booking and was so kind to come by the same day for a meet and greet. Appreciate the photos and updates. Highly recommend!”

“Chip stopped in to give our girl a walk and some dinner while we were out and did a great job taking care of her. Zara can be a scaredy cat rather than run to the door, so Chip sweetly searched for her and made her feel comfortable and excited enough for a walk. He even played with her a bit at the house after to try and get her to feel up to eating her food. Thank you so much!!”

About: I have experience as a professional dog grooming and 15 years experience caring for pets including multi pet households. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy adventures with a furry friend. I love animals and animals love me. I also provide high quality photography of your fur baby during the stay! I have open availability to caring for pets in their home as well as dog walking. I have the flexibility to adapt to any animals schedule. I can walk up to 3x a day. I travel/remote work, therefore while sitting, I can dedicate my time to your home/animals/plants. I do not have any pets in my home, anymore. I am able to care for multiple pets including cats, dogs, reptiles, guinea pigs and aquatic pets in their homes.
About: I have over 20 years of experience working with animals personally and professionally. I worked professionally at the Tulsa Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals from 2005-2008 and became the manager of puppy care. Upon returning to Seattle, I volunteered for PAWS Animal Shelter providing foster care for bottle feeding kittens and litters too young or sick to reside in the shelter. My former pets include three rescue cats (one with special needs), and one rescue dog. I currently have a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier / American Bulldog that I also rescued from PAWS Animal Shelter about a year ago. We love going for walks and hikes together, and visiting Sniffspots around the Seattle area. I love caring for animals and will treat your animals like I treat my own. I currently reside in Ballard and work from home. My work schedule is flexibleal which makes last minute walks and drop-ins easy for me. I have recently reopened my Rover account and hope to get some new clients over the summer months! I work a flexible, part time schedule from home. Both my flexible work hours and the fact that I work from home make both regular and last minute walks and drop-in visits easy for me to do in Ballard and surrounding areas. I always offer free meet and greets either around the neighborhood or in your home to make sure that I am a good for for both you and your pet. When I come to your home for drop-in visits, your animal(s) will be my one and only focus. I am highly respectful of privacy and understand that having a new person in your home can feel vulnerable, especially at first.
“Malaina has been walking Chewie for the past couple weeks and I couldn’t been happier with her services! She takes such great care of our pup, making sure he drinks water and takes breaks when playing fetch. Chewie always seems so happy on the pictures . Malaina has been super flexible with some of our schedule changes and last minute requests too! Highly recommend!!! Thanks Malaina!”

“Mira walked my pup Peanut who can be a rascal on the leash and did a great job. Also super accommodating with some issues on getting into the building which was much appreciated! 100% would book again!”

“Repeat customer with our fav dog walker! Had Carissa hang with our pups during a recent out of town excursion. She is so lovely, communicative and reliable. Gave me great peace of mind while we were traveling to know our dogs were in such great hands. Will book again!”

“Jeff went above and beyond, as always, to make sure Hobart was taken care of mid-day while we were away. Hobart loves Jeff and we are so grateful to have his care and attention!!”

“Reza was an absolutely amazing pet carer to work with! I was stuck in a sticky situation this Christmas due to a family emergency, and Reza swooped in on short notice to look after my dog Daisy. As a recent rescue, Daisy is quite nervous around strangers, but with Reza’s reassurance and experience, he was able to befriend her quickly! When Daisy developed an unrelated health issue and we needed to cut our booking short to get her to the vet, Reza was completely understanding and gracious about last-minute schedule changes. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate his flexibility and empathy, and I would 100% book with him again given the chance. You’d be lucky to have Reza looking after your pet!”

About: I grew up in a house that always had cats and a few dogs. I became addicted to the love, laughs, and mischief they bring, and I have always had a knack for earning the trust of shy and timid animals. Currently, have a sweet and shy, toothless and ruthless senior rescue cat that is my whole world. When I adopted her I spend a month reading Harry Potter allowed to her while she hid under the bed until I gained her trust, love, and devotion. We’ve been a bonded pair ever since. I also am lucky enough to have two fur-nephews (Rosco and Lewis Jr.) that are fully loaded baked potato dogs and I am lucky enough to get to love and care for them on a regular basis. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry little friend for any amount of time, and I would love to be a person you can rely on to show your fur babies love and patience while you’re away. I’m currently entering my first year of graduate school. During the week I am occupied with classes in the morning, and some days stretching into the late afternoon. Most days I am done by 3pm, others I’m done closer to noon. If you’re able to accommodate any flexibility and if afternoon/late afternoon drop ins are within your comfort zone i think I would be a good fit for your needs. My main goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m very detail oriented and great at taking direction, so as long as I’m provided with specifications of your animal’s needs (ie. feeding and bathroom habits, favorite toys/treats/activities, as well as transparency about any reactivity triggers) you can rest assured I’m going to give your pet the love, patience, and attention it needs and deserves.
“I wasn't sure about using Rover until I met Rosy. I couldn't believe my luck to find a pal for my pup who not only has awsome credentials, but is someone I know i can trust. Although my girl is sweet, she's not the easiest to work with. Rosy has a natural talent with dogs and tremendous patience-- absolutely necessary for my spoiled girl. My pup and I are really looking forward to Rosy's next visit!”

During our meet and greet, Qian showed a genuine curiosity for all the things she might need or want to know on her and Cheeto's future walks. Asked questions I didn't even think about, showing a true knowledge and readiness of this type of work. Qian has shown great care and responsiveness to my Chiweenie, Cheeto's, needs. She has spent extra time with him before his walks to give him the belly rubs he loves and needs due to his timid demeanor. She also gives attention to my cat, Lucifer, should he ask for some attentions while she's still in the house! Qian also keeps you plenty updated with photos and sometimes videos of what she and your pet are currently up to. With a sense of humor, gentleness and great communication, I am proud to have her as my current dog walker and future cat sitter. Five stars and five 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Give her a try!

Nicholle did a wonderful job caring for my dog Charlie! He’s a two year old 40-pound Australian Cattle Dog with tons of energy and she managed to tucker him out (no small feat). Charlie absolutely loved Nicholle and I had to drag him away from her at the end of the walk LOL. She sent an adorable picture of Charlie during their walk that might just be one of my favorite pictures of him and is currently the lock screen on my phone 😊 Nicholle was very communicative, kind, and easy to talk to. She even took the time to learn the French commands I taught Charlie (I grew up in France and taught Charlie in my mother tongue). Booking with Nicholle was a breeze and I’m definitely going to book her again soon!
Tiger handled our dog wonderfully! We have a very energetic, large dog and Tiger came in and immediately bonded with him and handled him well. He was very attentive to our dog’s needs and our dog came home extra happy. Tiger was also a joy to be around, a very positive force, as well as courteous and professional. Will definitely book again!

Kaitlyn is amazing! She is incredibly attentive to my dog and always keeps me updated with thoughtful, detailed communication after their walks. It’s clear that she genuinely cares, and I always felt confident that my dog was in great hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cynthia was wonderful! We booked her at the last minute, and she was incredibly accommodating and responsive. She took great care of Chewie, gave him a nice walk, and kept us updated with photos and messages. Really appreciate her flexibility and kindness, and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!
