“I was so happy with Jenny. Her care for my beloved cat was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I entrusted my furry friend into her care, I knew I had made the right decision. Jenny's genuine love for animals shone through in every interaction. She seemed to love my cat as much as I do! That made me feel really great about leaving her in Jenny's care. Not only did she ensure that my cat's basic needs were met, but she also went above and beyond to provide companionship and affection. I loved how she sent me photos of my cat, which always brought a smile to my face and reassured me that my cat was in good hands. What truly sets Jenny apart is her intuition and understanding of animals. She quickly bonded with my cat, earning its trust and affection in return. I could tell that my cat was happy and content under Jenny's care, which meant the world to me. I cannot recommend Jenny highly enough to anyone in need of pet care. She is not just a caregiver; she is a true animal lover who treats each furry friend as if they were her own. Thank you, Jenny, for your exceptional care and dedication. It makes me feel so much better when I need to leave town.”

About: Hi there, I'm new to Rover. I’m an experienced former dog owner looking to hang out with dogs but not yet ready to adopt a new dog myself. I used Rover to find sitters of my own in the past and I know the importance of having someone trustworthy and communicative to watch her whenever we had to be away. I'd be happy to provide that trust and care to you! As background, I used to have a sweet pitbull for 7 years before losing her to cancer last year at 13 years old. As a rescue, she did have some behavioral issues like separation anxiety and dog aggression, and eventually some health issues as she got older. As a result, I have experience, patience, and compassion for dogs who might need some extra consideration and I'm confident I can give your dog the attentiveness and care needed. I work full-time but I’m only required to be in the office a 2-3 days each week. Outside of those two days, I am working from home and able to look after a dog or take a break to go for a walk as needed. My home has no children or other animals so your dog will receive my undivided attention. I have my own small fenced yard and live in a residential area where your dog will get plenty of exercise.

15. Victoria D.

16. Luke R.
“Luke has been watching my 2 dogs for years, and they adore him - especially the older one. He is really patient and sweet with them. They always come back happy and tired from lots of play time and cuddles :) thank you, Luke!!!”
17. Telah R.
“I highly recommend Telah if you're looking for someone who is responsible and caring to take care of your pup, cat or other furry loved ones while you're away. She has a natural knack with and understanding of animals, and they love her right back. Peace of mind is everything when you choose to put your trust in someone to take care of your 4 legged family members, and that's what Telah provides.”
18. Kulla J.
“I can't recommend Kulla highly enough as a dog walker! From the moment we started working with her, it's been clear that she's not just a dog walker but a true protector and friend to all dogs. Her vast experience with different breeds, gained from being a devoted dog owner herself, shines through in her gentle, competent handling of my dog. Kulla is not only trustworthy but also incredibly kind and generous with her time, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my dog receives not just a walk, but extra love, attention, and those special touches that really make a difference. It's evident how much my dog adores Kulla, showing unparalleled excitement every time she arrives. For anyone looking for more than just a walk for their dog, but a genuine, enriching experience, Kulla is the perfect choice.”

About: I’ve had pets (including cats, dogs, lizards, frogs, fish, & rodents) my whole life including adopting a large, difficult dog a few years ago. I’m comfortable with giving oral and topical medications, and caring for senior, difficult, and active pets. I work from home and can pop out for a great midday visit or 2 or even work from your place to give your pet(s) the attention they need while you’re away! I work from home and can be flexible for midday visits in my neighborhood or working from your place for extra care. Happy to stay over at your place or accommodate early morning or late night visits. I’m an active person and would love to incorporate hikes or dog park visits if it’s something your dog is up for! I cannot care for dogs or cats in my own home (but could bring over any small/caged animals who may need care!) but can work with you to make sure your pet is getting the attention they need while you are out!

About: I have been a dog person for as long as I can remember. I have loved all of them from the smallest (chihauhua) to big 100+ lb mixed breeds. It is great getting to know each dog's different personality. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule outside the weekend. I can work around you and your dog's schedule. I would prefer lunch time activities but morning and afternoon is alright as well. I have a fenced in yard with a corgi-husky mix who has great energy and plays well with other dogs. If your dog is not into that, that's okay because there are tons of places to walk or dog parks to exercise.
