“Laila took AMAZING care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. Our dog had some digestive issues a few hours after we left him with Laila and we were extremely worried. Laila took him to the emergency vet and everything ended up being okay. She kept us very well-updated with photos and videos as well as calling us to talk to the emergency vet. I’m so grateful that our dog was in such good hands. We would absolutely book with Laila again and highly recommend her to anyone out there who is looking for a sitter. We would give her 10 stars if we could!”

I appreciate their regular updates and pictures on how Luna is doing, especially considering that this was the first time she stayed overnight at their place. :) I truly feel like they love and care for Luna as if she were their own dog. About: I am a former dog-mom looking to host doggos in our home for a reminder of the joys of dog companionship without the long-term commitment. Our 80lb black lab died as an elderly pup a few years ago and it has taken some time for us to be ready to welcome another pup into our home. Our former dog, Maddie, struggled with dog-aggression, leash-reactivity, and general anxiety. I have A LOT of experience with clicker training and positive training methods for managing dog anxiety, stress, and aggression towards other dogs. I'm also experienced in watching for signs of dog stress around kiddos. I have been dog-sitting for friends since we lost our pup and am ready to open my home to the broader world of dogs in need of care. I currently work from home full-time. I transport my son to/from school which takes me out of the home for 40-90 minutes twice/day in the morning and afternoon M-F. I’m occasionally away from the house 4-6 hours on Sat/Sun when a dog is boarding with me— if this is an issue for your dog, please let me know ahead of time so I can plan for that. I have a fenced yard, a partner, and a 8 year old son. Our home would be appropriate for dogs who are comfortable with respectful older kids.

“Talia took such good care of my old cat, Max. She sent me daily updates and pictures. She left our house tidy and clean. I could tell she cared about this gig, and I will definitely be booking her again.”

I work full time but have a flexible schedule and often work from home. I am available to care for your pet in your home, and mine as well. Looking forward to meeting your pets! “Tu was absolutely fantastic with my girl Reggie. After drop off she sent me an update to let me know how she was adjusting to a new place and throughout the day I got pics of my bestie having her new adventure. Would 100% book again!!”

“Evlyn was so wonderful with my dog Coco and we were lucky she was able to accept the booking despite a last-minute notice. She sent several photos throughout the day and was quick to respond both prior to and during the stay. Communicating with her was so easy and Coco seemed to have a good time with her and her dog Mikey. :) Thank you again Evlyn! We will be returning for sure. :)”

“Chris has been absolutely amazing. I just moved from across the country with one of my three dogs, and he has been having a hard time adjusting to apartment life (aka screaming his head off). After I got an email from my property manager after my first day of work I was frantically looking for a sitter for the next day. Chris was not only able to accommodate Casper the following day after my request, but also last minute on a weekend for an event I was hosting. I cannot thank Chris enough for his help and for putting up with some of Casper’s antics.”

“Rachael is the absolute best! Quick to respond and keep me updated on my doggo with pics. It’s my first time using Rover and she made the experience a great one. She came in as a lifesaver when i needed a super last min sitter. She took care of my Luna like it was her own. Super recommend ❤️”

“Lydia took Aggie in at last moment. Aggie is a shy dog but Lydia was able to get her comfortable in her. I loved the regular messages and video she kept sending us. Anytime we are in Seattle she will our go to person to care of Aggie. Thanks again Lydia.”

About: We have grown up with dogs and have one currently (who loves all other dogs). Live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced yard. Work from home so always home to take care of your dog. We are an active little family. Always going for walks & hanging out in the fenced backyard. Since we work from home, its perfect to fit in any amount of extra playtime or walks as needed. We have a fenced yard and quiet neighborhood. Since we have a dog, we always have toys and supplies around, but ask that you provide whatever will make them most comfortable!
About: Hello! I have been dog and cat sitting for at least 20 years and have several active clients in Seattle currently. I have previously worked for a dog walking and sitting business in Maryland. I have cared for puppies from 6 months through to senior, special needs pups. While no one enjoys it, I am comfortable giving pills, injections, and other medications to both cats and dogs. In my dog walking business I have walked up to four pups at the same time. I love to go on long walks, even in the rain and wind, and can throw a ball for hours! I will take care of your home and your pup with the utmost respect and love. I am a home owner with two kitties and a toddler. We are working on getting them all comfortable with dogs but for the time being we can only subject them to guests for 4 days in a row max (or they may never forgive us). While I haven't found the perfect pup for my life yet, I am very excited to be able to share my house with dogs of all ages for short stints while I'm searching. I work from home and can let pups out to go to the bathroom as needed. I love a lunch walk to get me ready for the afternoon. I have a fenced yard and a patch of grass for regular bathroom breaks. The staircase is gated so we’re always within eyeshot of any canine visitors.
“Maria is the absolute best! I had so much peace of mind knowing my dog Moose was in the best hands with her. She gave me frequent updates and pictures so I knew what they were up to. You can tell she truly wants your dog to be well loved and cared for. I am so thankful to have found her through Rover!”

About: I have cared for my own pug for over 13 years, so I understand the daily needs of dogs at different stages of life, including senior care. Our home environment is calm and comfortable, which works well for dogs that enjoy a relaxed setting. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so dogs staying with us receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. We also have a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed. Because we have a gentle senior pug at home, we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable place where dogs can relax and feel cared for while their owners are away. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so we are around throughout the day to give dogs attention, regular potty breaks, and walks. This also means dogs are rarely left alone for long periods of time. Our schedule is generally flexible, and we are able to accommodate regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, and walks throughout the day. Because we are home most of the time, we can keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure they are comfortable and well cared for. We provide a calm, safe home environment for dogs. We have a gentle senior pug who is very used to sharing space with other dogs, so we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for all sizes, from tiny Pugs to large Huskies! Back home in California, my family pets included a Pug/Bulldog mix, a Pekingese, and two energetic Huskies, so I know exactly how to handle different breeds, tempers, and energy levels. I've had all of my dogs since they were puppies and they've grown up with me, so I have experience taking care of both younger and more senior dogs. Since moving, I really miss having dogs around and would love to look after yours during my free time. I love going on long walks and will make sure your pet’s unique routine and needs are fully taken care of! I currently work remotely in tech, so aside from any daily meetings I have, my schedule is pretty flexible and I'm able to care for pets around the clock. I live in a three-story townhome with two roommates and our own fenced yard in a nice residential area with plenty of walking space. My home doesn’t have any hazardous or dangerous things for pets and I’ll ensure they’re safe at all times! If I'm taking care of a pet in someone else's home, I like to ask specific care instructions and what I'm allowed and not allowed to do since it varies from owner to owner. I'm very clean and will make sure to always keep the house tidy for myself and pets.
“Joesph was great to my pup Zeus. He took him on plenty of walks and even cleaned his paws afterwards! He also brushed him out, which I super appreciated. I loved the report card he filled out, very informative and lets me see how much fun Zeus is having through the day. I look forward to when he’s able to watch Zeus again.”

“They were excellent hosts, clearly our lil guy had such a nice time with them, I’ll definitely reach out to them if I were in town again, and need someone to take care of Olaf! The entire family engaged with Olaf and kept him company, can’t recommend them enough!”

“Stanley’s day with Eric might go down as one of his most favorite days ever! Eric accepted our booking last minute and exceeded our expectations! He provided the funniest updates with pictures all day to keep our minds at ease. Couldn’t recommend him enough!!”

About: Hey, we are Rachael and Daniel. We have had dogs our entire lives and have also volunteered at adoption events, fostered animals, and watch friends' dogs all the time - can't get enough! We have a sweet 8 year old Calico who gets along really well with dogs! We also recently rescued Luana from Hawaii about a year ago. Please note we are still getting Luana used to things, so a meet and greet is necessary for boarding. We love all animals from giant crazy puppies to shy senior citizens. If we are walking or watching your pet, you can trust they will gets tons of cuddles and attention, and you will get plenty of updates and pics : ) Rachael works from home for a software company, so we have a lot of flexibility when it comes to pet care, and we are happy to customize our schedules to whatever your pet needs. Also, we will donate half of your payment to local shelters as a way to pass it on. Can't wait to meet your pup or kitty! We are both currently working from home so have lots of flexibility when it comes to taking care of animals for walks and outside breaks and feeding. We are more than happy to customize our care to whatever your pet needs (e.g. leash reactive, medical needs, etc.) as every animal is different! For boarding, noting we do have our own sweet pup and cat who get along with most dogs, but we do require a meet and greet to make sure everyone will be happy and comfortable together.
About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.
“Morgan has given Snoopy a good care and needed attention during his daycare stay! Morgan took time to properly introduce Snoopy to other pups and ensured everyone was getting along ☺️🐾”

“Mandy really gave me a sense of peace and security while I was away on vacation as she took excellent care of my dog on lunchtime walks and gave great reports. She was always considerate and responsive, and I will absolutely be using her services again in the future!”

“Lee took such great care of my dog! I'm so grateful for her great care, communication, and fabulous pictures! Looking forward to working with her again in the future.”

“10/10 — We were so worried about our reactive old lady pit bull finding a walker who understood her needs, and we’re SO thankful we found Andy. Sadly, we’re moving across the country, but we would’ve used their services forever if we could have. We did walks and over nights. Andy was always kind, communicative and sweet to Pearl. We cannot thank you enough, and we’re so happy Pearl had such a nice friend. Thank you, Andy!”

“13/10. Natalie was very patient and sweet with my senior pup. I could tell he trusted her right away and was very happy to show her around the neighborhood. I will definitely schedule with her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs when I was growing up so I am familiar with puppies. I also helped care for multiple dogs for friends and family. I am familiar with administrating medicine, pill and oral syringes. I ensure it is easy and stress free for your fur baby. I love to be outdoors and get my steps so why not have a buddy to tag along! I’ve cared for seniors and always ensure ways for them to remain active whether physically or mentally. I am here not just to be a sitter, but a friend :)! I make it my mission to provide as much time, if not all my time, to your babies. I do have a fluctuating schedule, therefore, I require a couple days in advance for a booking. I do make sure that your pet comes to me, comfortably, first. I want to become a friend to them, not just a sitter who comes in and just leaves as soon as a task is finished. I ensure your home is tidy after play time, if in the home, and/or after meals, etc. I treat your home and fur baby as if it were my own, I understand the importance of feeling secure in allowing a “stranger” into your home and around your baby.

“Aaron came right on time and spent time to get acquainted with my dog, who is often apprehensive to meet new people. He took her out for some good exercise and was very responsive with communication. Thank you, Aaron!”

“Nancy is great! She is clearly very good with dogs, and I appreciate that she has experience with handling large, leash-reactive dogs. She was communicative and shared pictures and an update on how the walk went. I recommend her and would definitely hire again. Thanks!”

“Jennifer is wonderful! She took our pup on walks and to the dog park when she sensed she needed some time to run around :) really appreciate her communicativeness!”

“Mac is nothing short of amazing! My pup is nice and tired after their walks. He communicates with me fast. He is also really adaptable and picks up the dog when I am in meetings at home, quick and quiet, so I am not disturbed. Mac is the go-to reliable, steady dog walker.”

“Wendy was great with Dakota! Wendy came over ahead of time to meet Dakota as she is nervous of strangers. Wendy was very patient with getting Dakota to trust her and was great at communicating.”

“Thank you for taking excellent care of Plum!! It was a big help knowing she was in great hands with people who care about her. She’s looking forward to returning! Thank you!”

“Sarah did a great job with Hazel! She sent daily photos to let me know what they were up to and how Hazel was doing. Hazel had a great time, and I felt at ease knowing she was being well cared for. I would definitely work with Sarah again!”

“Vivian is great with our miniature dachshund puppy Eevie. She really makes sure to give her lots of potty breaks and updates you regularly with pictures and videos. She even woke up at 6am just so I could drop off Eevie before work! You can rest reassured that Vivian will take extra great care of your pup.”

“Maria & Kalyan are always quick to respond to requests which I appreciate, as we booked a short notice day trip over a weekend! I appreciate their regular updates and pictures on how Luna is doing, especially considering that this was the first time she stayed overnight at their place. :) I truly feel like they love and care for Luna as if she were their own dog. Thank you for being so patient with Luna, making sure she is taken care of and feels safe and loved. I appreciate you going on so many walks despite the weather being rainy/not the best at times. It has been sweet to see her get more comfortable with each visit.”

“I would recommend L&L to anyone looking to get care for their beloved! Excellent communicators! So great with my doggo! Super accommodating and easy to work with! Can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“She took care of Zeus like it was her's,and during a travel trip going through bad weather we were delayed on picking up Zeus so he had to stay a few more days, which Tu didn't have any problems with, she can keep Zeus anytime if we need her assistance again, Thanks Tu.”

“Thanks so much! I needed a dog sitter for two days on short notice and Emely came through. Good communication and my pup was happy tired when I picked her up. Would book with her again.”

“Molly was great! We got plenty of updates and pictures throughout the day. One of our boys is slow to warm up and can be grumbly/barky with new people and she was very patient with him and both dogs seemed to have a great time!”

“Nichole and Andrew hosted Reg for the long weekend and I'm so happy he got to stay with them. Nichole and Andrew were great communicators, sending pics throughout the stay keeping me updated. When I picked up Reg, it was like he didn't want to leave! Reg will definitely be back to stay with Nichole and Andrew and their family!”

“Biscuit had a great stay with Elise and James. They are warm, attentive and loving. We got plenty of updates during our dog’s stay with them. Upon coming home, I could tell Biscuit was really relaxed and himself straight away, which is always a great sign. We are looking forward to Biscuit’s next stay!”

“Mahlan was a great sitter for my dog, Raya. Consistently sent photos and videos of her, and also keeping me updated with her daily activities. Raya can be a little challenging at times, but I definitely felt comfortable that Mahlan would be able to handle her. She also looked like she had a blast with Nunu, especially since we were able to set up a meet and greet beforehand. Would book again in the future👍🏽”

“Vivian is great with our dog, Pippa. She's trustworthy, communicative, and flexible. Pippa loves visiting her, which gives us peace of mind that she's in good hands.”

“Joe was absolutely incredible! He was so attentive to our dog and her needs. I am usually very nervous to leave our Lucy with a new sitter because she can be a bit of an escape artist, but Joe put us at ease immediately and was sure to keep a close eye on her! Joe communicated with us daily, providing updates and was very flexible. Joe really cared for our pup, and it was clear she enjoyed staying with him. I will not hesitate to book again, 10/10 experience.”

“Ashley was absolutely incredible with our energetic puppy! She spoiled him with attention and play throughout the whole stay. The daily updates and photos were wonderful and she was extra flexible when our flight home was delayed. Will absolutely book her again!”

“Joshua is always so attentive to our little guy! He gives regular updates, takes multiple walks, and even had a rain jacket for our guy that we didn't pack. He is prepared for things you may have missed. This is our third time booking with Joshua, and Geddy loves him! We are so fortunate to be able to have our guy spend time with a dog lover! Thanks again, Joshua!”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

“We gotta say, we’ve had rover sitters before (some good, some not so good) but Gregg by far has exceeded all of our expectations. We asked him beforehand if he was okay with one of our reactive and pulley dogs, and he said he was. We set up a meet and greet before booking and both our dogs took to Gregg immediately. He just had such a kind, warm demeanor to him, and although we had other meet and greets scheduled throughout the week, no one even came close to Gregg. The booking itself was exactly what we thought it would be — amazing. Gregg was very communicative, with constant updates/photos/videos throughout the day, was very attentive towards both of our dogs needs, kept them engaged throughout their stay, followed all instructions on feeding/walking times, and even kept a close eye on one of our dogs paw chewing. When we came to pick them up, it was very clear they had a blast with Gregg, and even bonded with him as well!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and because of that, we are just so grateful to have found him!!! He is going to be our go-to sitter going forward, and we know our dogs can’t wait for their next adventure with Gregg!!!”

“Kandice was amazing! Lucille loved her and her family :) she sent lots of pictures and updates and was very responsive. I booked the stay Kandice sorta short notice and she accomodated us very well. I hope to book with her in the future! ”

“Pepper did an overnight after a meet and greet in preparation for a longer future stay with Kirsten. This was Pepper's first time away from us. Was happy to have Pepper surrounded by a nice family and fun pups to play with! Kirsten is thoughtful and responsive in communicating. She said Pepper did adapted well and sent pics. So nice to have found a dog sitter champion close to us. Will definitely return. ??”

“Rand took incredible care of our dog! He’s a big, energetic chocolate lab and Rand kept him safe, fed, and so happy! We will absolutely be coming back to her as long as she’s available!”
