This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! About: I have cared for my own pug for over 13 years, so I understand the daily needs of dogs at different stages of life, including senior care. Our home environment is calm and comfortable, which works well for dogs that enjoy a relaxed setting. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so dogs staying with us receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. We also have a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed. Because we have a gentle senior pug at home, we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so we are around throughout the day to give dogs attention, regular potty breaks, and walks. This also means dogs are rarely left alone for long periods of time. Our schedule is generally flexible, and we are able to accommodate regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, and walks throughout the day. Because we are home most of the time, we can keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure they are comfortable and well cared for. We provide a calm, safe home environment for dogs. We have a gentle senior pug who is very used to sharing space with other dogs, so we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. We have watched many of our friends dogs and treat them as our own! One of us is home with 2 children every day of the week. If we are pet sitting, we mostly hang around home. With our fenced yard, they could easily run out for a quick potty break as well.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for the last 5 years, with a variety of small Shih Tzus and a Golden Retriever for my uncle. I really want to get started in the pet sitting business. Your pets will have 100% of my attention as this is my gap year before law school and I have a lot of free time to help take care of fur babies. I have a fenced in yard so dogs can play safely, and another small Shih Tzu that is friendly around other dogs. I try to walk dogs three times a day, and spend the rest of the time hanging out with them.

When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! “This was a one day stay, as I had never left my dog overnight with a sitter, before, and at age six, I wasn't sure how it would go. I did an initial meet and greet with Claudia, who was very open to questions as she and my dog Piper were introduced. The physical space for the dogs is a large room which opens to a large fenced yard. On the day of the stay, I dropped off Piper and Claudia took her in without any fan fare or heel skidding ( like the vet's). I got a few pictures during the day and picked her up the next day. All was calm and she was happy; I was happy.”

“Davis was fantastic with our dog, a 75 lb mixed breed. She is very anxious when we leave her with a sitter. She’s also sometimes stand offish with men she doesn’t know, but she liked Davis immediately when we met him in a meet and greet before our trip. Davis’ calm, confident way with dogs put us at ease, and we felt comfortable leaving our pup with him for a full week. A few days before our trip, our dog got a dog bite that got infected, so we had to leave her with new medications and care instructions. Davis handled everything with no stress, made sure she got her medication, and took great care of her while she healed. We came home to a happy, healthy dog and would absolutely hire Davis again and recommend to others.”
