“Super thankful that Ally was available to walk our 40-lb 1.5 yr-old heeler mix. It gave me peace of mind during a busy week while my partner was out of town. Excellent communication. I would hire her again!”

“Matt is an exceptionally awesome dog walker. My energetic Airedale terrier loves him and I REALLY appreciate the ground he covers with her outdoors in a short period of time!!! With Matt I know she is actually getting a lively energetic vigorous outing (as opposed to an amble and sniff) which makes all the difference when I'm at work. Photos of her are panting/smiling/happy outdoors. If you have a smart/hunting/working dog or a high-exercise needs dog, Matt is who you want. Seriously. Also he gave my pup extra TLC/company when she was in surgery recovery and he didn't even know us then. Such a kind person.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy learning their personalities and quirks! I think that’s what makes each job different and fun! I’ve grown up around lots of animals and love getting to know them! I currently don’t have any other jobs that I do, I want to devote my full time to loving and caring for your pets! 😊 I’m comfortable with it whatever you are! It’s a big deal to let someone into your home and trust them with your pets, and hopefully I will be one of those people for you! 😊
About: I thrive with large sporting breeds (although I adore all dogs). I grew up with hunting labradors, and currently have a six year old GSP and a two year old Rhodesian ridgeback. Our current dogs have been trained up on leash and off leash by me. I am comfortable walking or jogging with dogs on leash, as well as hiking or trail running off leash with the aid of an e-collar. (I believe safety and recall is paramount, and will not work with dogs off leash without an e-collar.) Large, active dogs often come with unexpected emergencies, and I am comfortable treating dogs in the field and transporting appropriately for veterinary care (I always carry a dog specific trauma kit for wilderness adventures). Our older ridgeback developed a meningioma at twelve years old, so I became very familiar with intense medication schedules and caring for dogs with special needs. Daily routines include mental exercise, physical exercise, and lots of love. Dog parks are not part of my routine, as we have had more negative experiences than good over the years. I work evenings Thursday-Sunday, and am available for occasional housesitting in the Seattle metro area throughout the summer. Generally, I am free to dog walk most Monday-Wednesdays, as well as in the mornings on work days. Currently not offering in house boarding. Whatever routine the client has developed with their fur baby is what we will follow. I know how stressful it is to have a pet on a strict medication schedule and am sure to be extremely prompt with important times such as medication, feeding, and potty breaks.
“As always, Andy was great with George! It made a huge difference knowing he’d be taken care of while I was out in the mountains. I was out of cell service (so I couldn’t get the notification the walk started), but I knew I didn’t have to worry with Andy! That allowed me to fully relax and enjoy my day.”

“Hi I just wanted to a minute and talk about how amazing Heidi is! Heidi is so great with Bruno, I've seen such a change in him since she's been in his life. When I get home and take him out he's happier and more relaxed than before. With my partner's and my schedules being so different Heidi has helped us to not worry about Bruno being anxious waiting for us to go outside. His quality of life has gone up and it shows! We love having Heidi we're very grateful at how skilled she is with Bruno, she's so amazing😁❤️”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and always loved taking care of animals. My first “jobs” as a preteen were taking care of all my neighborhood cats and dogs and babysitting. I have some experience with training and lots of free time in my schedule this summer (especially during the day) as I am a teacher and have the summers off. I regularly dog sit for people in my personal life and love the excuse to spend time with animals. I am responsible, caring, organized, and used to taking care of all kinds of problems and needs in the classroom! My schedule is pretty much wide open this summer with the exception of a few different appointments and social plans. I can be flexible with needs and scheduling. I live in an apartment and would be able to take care of cats and small dogs in my space and would be happy to take care of them in your space that they are used to. I have a car and can easily drive to different locations throughout the day.

“I had a walker for over two years. He recently decided to step away from Rover. Reagan (my fur baby of 15 yrs) and I were devastated. We needed a new sitter. Based on reviews, we chose Billy. What a heaven sent! He did such an amazing job of taking care of Reagan that our quest for a new sitter is now over. Billy is our guy. He’s booked for my next two trips and counting. I highly recommend him!”

About: Hi, my name is Elisabeth (I go by Xel). I’ve grown up around pets my whole life, mostly dogs but some cats too. I truly love spending time with animals and getting to know their little personalities. Whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a specific routine, I’m happy to do what makes them feel most comfortable. I also have experience giving oral medications if needed. Your pet will be treated like family! I'm currently freelancing, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and am available most days and times. Pet care fits really well into my routine, which means I can give your pet plenty of attention, stick to their schedule, and be available for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I'm also happy to help with last-minute bookings whenever I can! Creating a safe and comfortable environment is very important to me. I’m attentive, responsible, and I take the time to understand your pets behaviors, moods and routines, so they feel at ease. My goal is to create a calm, loving space where your pet feels safe, happy, and right at home.
“Rachael did a great job caring for our small dog who isn’t the friendliest to strangers. She took him on long walks and was great at communicating with us. Would definitely use her again.”

“Anastasiya was great with Nacho during a last minute switch to my schedule! She was flexible and came at the time asked for. Really appreciate her taking out my little guy for a walk. Will be using her next time!”

About: I've walked and watched over dogs a few times mainly being family pets. I have had 3 dogs in my life as well as 2 cats. Feeding, walking them or even giving them baths (when needed) and even changing their food if allergic. All the small things to keep them happy and healthy. I'm currently college student. I'm always available on weekends from 9am - 5pm. During the week I'm available 11:30Am-2:30 pm Tues. & Thurs. Fridays 9-6 During breaks or holidays I'm entirely available. I'm very close to South lake union park and on a common route most dog walkers take. It's a nicer area and not too hilly or too steep and perfect exercise for any dog of any age.
About: Hii! I’m Rya, I’ve had dogs and cats since I was a kid and loved animals since. I love taking care of them as well as learning each behaviors. Please keep in mind I do have a pup of my own, who is fixed and has all her shots. She’s goofy and loves other dogs. I want to be able to help people take the stress off. My dog has separation anxiety and I’ve learned in multiple ways how to help with that. She is also friendly with cats as she grew up with two since she was 6 months till a year and a half. Pet care is currently part of my every day and weekly routine. I have my pup Sage who is an active deerhound/doodle mix. She keeps me on my toes. My availability is Su-Sa at this time. Not every dog is the same in how they are cared for. I would like to discuss with you a little prior to know your dogs behaviors, if there’s any triggers or anything that benefits them the most.
About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, including raising three of my own from puppyhood. I'm comfortable with training needs, exercising pets, administering medication, and the special needs of puppies and seniors. I have extremely high standards for the people I choose to care for my pets, and I hold myself to those standards when caring for others. Leaving your pets doesn't have to be worrisome or stressful when you know they are receiving quality care under a watchful eye. I provide safety and affection for all animals and would be honored to help care for your pets when you have to be away. I am currently going back to school as an online student and have an extremely flexible schedule. I'm available for drop ins, walks, and boarding in my home seven days a week. Drop ins and walks can occur between 6AM- 8PM. When I do drops in and walks at your home, your pet is with me and under my watch the entire time. I am happy to follow any rules you provide. For boarding in my home, I have a fully fenced back yard with a designated dog potty area. Even though the yard is fenced, I supervise all outside breaks to ensure your pet's safety and security. I do have two dogs of my own, both females, and currently only board female dogs. One of my dogs is a 15lb rat terrier mix, and the other is a 70lb lab mix. Both are well socialized with animals and people, and are accustomed to other dogs being in our home. I constantly monitor dog energy levels and body language to ensure breaks are taken when needed and that your pets don't experience overstimulation.

My approach is rooted in modern, scientifically-proven training methods that prioritize positive reinforcement, gentle redirection, and fear-free handling. I am committed to building trust, confidence, and safety in every interaction, and I truly believe in meeting each animal where they are emotionally, honoring their unique pace and individual needs. Above all, my goal is to create a nurturing environment where every interaction is restorative, joyful, and filled with unconditional love and patience. I understand the journey of coming out of your shell, and I strive to provide a calm, safe space where animals can heal, trust, and ultimately thrive. By focusing my care on these specific days, I can give each animal my full attention, patience, and love, ensuring a positive and supportive experience every time we are together. Every pet deserves to feel safe, respected, and comfortable in their environment. Whether I'm caring for pets in my own home or in a client's home, I prioritize creating a calm, structured, and positive space tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets enjoy enrichment activities such as lick mats, playtime, and plenty of cuddles throughout the day. I have a fully fenced backyard with 6+ foot tall fences for safe outdoor play and private areas where dogs can rest undisturbed if they need a break from other animals. Every animal is welcome on the couch for snuggles and is encouraged to feel at home. I utilize gentle, positive reinforcement and maintain clear, consistent routines to help pets feel secure. For animals with fear, anxiety, or a history of trauma, I prioritize slow introductions, patience, and fear-free handling to build trust at their own pace. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, ensuring that pets' surroundings remain familiar and stress-free. I follow instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and behavior protocols closely, maintaining consistency and safety. I am also attentive to environmental safety—checking gates, securing leashes, and removing hazards—and I communicate regularly with pet parents to provide peace of mind. My goal is always to provide gentle, reliable care that fosters trust and confidence in both pets and their humans.
About: I’m a local native! I grew up in Tacoma where we adopted our dog Pixie when I was about 10 years old. Pixie now runs around with Old Yeller, Marley, and Balto in dog heaven, but she was an eccentric, energetic pup through her late years. Melba, my cat, was our family pet up until I moved back to Seattle in 2016, where I had the pleasure of keeping her until her dying days in late 2019. I now have my 3.5 yo Siamese/bengal— the sassiest cat around who loves to adventure and hunt outdoors. I love to go for walks and as I don’t have a dog right now, Rover is a great way to walk with a buddy and help your pupper (or cat) get exercise. Camille and I have a routine schedule- he is usually out for most of the day exploring. (He really is a confident cat). He’ll come back home for dinner+snuggles and he’ll be up by 5am ready to go back outside for a new day. I met a friend’s rescue pup who gravitated to me because we shared the same type of trauma history.. I love animals. You can see when their little minds are flustered and I am always happy when I can bring the care and relief of stress to animals that need it.
“Autumn is a very conscientious and skilled dog walker. We chose her because she has had experience dealing with larger breeds and specifically we needed a walker who was not shy about providing leadership and correction to our rather headstrong anatoulian shepard. Autumn's profile assured us that she has worked with dogs that have behavioral issues. As our dog can be jumpy with loud noises or reactive to other dogs who display aggression, we felt comfortable with Autumns experience. She did not disappoint and we will definitely look forward to booking with her again. Thanks Autumn, for taking such good care of our beloved companion!”

The median cost per walk for dog walking in Industrial District is $25

Kathy is absolutely amazing! She is so sweet and kind with Koji boy! She's very attuned to Koji's needs, great with communication, and doesn't put up with Koji's silly puppy behaviors lol! I injured my foot recently and she has really helped out with taking him for much needed walks. I appreciate all that you do! Will book again soon!

Saba is wonderful! She is so friendly, professional, and took fantastic care of my two dogs. They both absolutely loved their walks with her and were so happy and relaxed after. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sweet and trustworthy dog walker!

Brenda has been a lifesaver! As a medical professional with an unpredictable schedule she was invaluable. Brenda is flexible, prompt, communicative, and attentive to my pup. She always gave him a treat for good behavior and customized his walk route based on the weather.

Thank you to Alyssa for being such a sweet and kind dog lover! My boy was so happy on his walk and play date. Alyssa had wonderful communication and let me know how everything was going throughout the visit. We are so grateful and highly recommend her for your pet care needs.

Red (Jeffrey) is great! He’s very kind and gentle with our old lady, Riley. He sends lots of pictures and updates. He was very thorough during our meet and greet. I feel comfortable leaving Riley in his care while we’re at work. I definitely recommend him to other pet parents and will be booking him again very soon.
