About: I've been caring for dogs for most of my life and have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My family had a Cavapoo named Midnight for 16 years, and I currently help care for Neo, a 12-year-old Chihuahua-terrier mix. I've also cared for many other dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. What sets me apart is my experience with both puppies and senior dogs, my reliability, and my genuine love for animals. I understand that every dog has unique needs, whether that means lots of playtime and exercise or a calmer routine with extra patience and attention. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining routines, administering basic medications if needed, and making sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. As an Animal Science student, I'm passionate about animal health and welfare and treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am organized, reliable, and able to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for. I make time for walks, feeding, playtime, bathroom breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I understand how important routines are for pets, so I make it a priority to follow each pet's normal schedule as closely as possible and provide regular updates to owners for peace of mind. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions exactly as given, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any house rules. I respect the home by keeping it clean, secure, and leaving everything as I found it. I always pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level, making sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. During walks or outdoor time, I use proper leashing at all times and stay alert to surroundings to ensure safety. I understand that trust is very important when caring for someone’s pet and home, so I communicate clearly with updates, follow instructions carefully, and treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I was born with an 8-year-old Great Dane, so I've been around dogs literally since I was born. I regularly volunteer at Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, working with puppies during puppy yoga and wrangling puppies during the monthly Puppy Prov, when puppies participate in an improv comedy show. I also walk some of my neighbor's dogs. I don't have a dog right now, but I still love dogs and pet them every chance I get. I'm in school on weekdays, but I am free most weekends except for the first Saturday of every month when I'm usually volunteering with puppies. When the school year ends, I will be available on weekdays and not weekends. I maintain attention and make sure the dog has a chance to sniff things along the way but not eat anything. I've dealt with energetic dogs in the past so I can divert a dog's attention if it wants to interact with another dog who doesn't want to. I can also work on training dogs to heel during our walks.

About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. Specific Skills: Reactivity, Anxiety/Fear, Strong Pullers, Stranger Danger, Training Basics I work remotely on East Coast hours — my schedule has plenty of flexibility! I'm happy to accomodate based on your pet's needs and schedule. I would love to use my years of dog and cat handling experience to take your dog out to stretch its legs, hang out with your kitty and make sure their physical and emotional needs are fulfilled.

About: I am huge animal lover, and have owned dogs throughout my whole life. Because of my love of animals, I ended up working at a dog daycare/pet hotel called Ruff for 1.5 years whilst living in Napa Valley (photos are included in my gallery). Here, it was my responsibility to walk, feed, bathe, watch over, and give medication to people’s cats and dogs. I also gained experience working with many different breeds and animals with specialized needs. Additionally, I have been a pet/house sitter for multiple families throughout the years and I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet(s) as well! As a part-time vocal teacher, I have a lot of free time to care for your pet(s). I am very flexible to your schedule and am currently available any day of the week for overnight stays. I typically only teach 2 days a week and would be gone for a maximum of 6.5 hours at a time on those days. When it comes to ensuring the safety of your pet, I will make sure to clarify and follow the instructions provided by you. I know that maintaining a pet’s daily routine is highly important for their wellbeing while their parents are away. This is why I am sure to feed, walk, give medications to, and provide water for pets according to the routine times that are provided. I will give them lots of love and affection, and give them as much playtime as they need throughout the day. I provide updates on how my clients pets are doing and send photo updates as well. It is also important to me that I clean up after your pet, as well as myself to be sure that your home is the same as you left it.
