“Deb was great. Before we left on a trip she coordinated with us to meet our dog Chewy and see the house. While we were gone, she sent us pictures and was very quick to respond whenever we sent a text. I would absolutely recommend her to other folks looking for a caring person to look after your pup!”

About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. Specific Skills: Reactivity, Anxiety/Fear, Strong Pullers, Stranger Danger, Training Basics I work remotely on East Coast hours — my schedule has plenty of flexibility! I'm happy to accomodate based on your pet's needs and schedule. I would love to use my years of dog and cat handling experience to take your dog out to stretch its legs, hang out with your kitty and make sure their physical and emotional needs are fulfilled.
About: I work from home and love dogs and cats! However I cannot have my own at this time. I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats, having had both. In my free time, I used to volunteer taking dogs from a nearby shelter for walks, I find it personally just very rewarding (and great exercise)! Because I work from my home, I can be more flexible with my schedule. I live next to the Burke Gilman trail and love to take walks. I am active as a person (swimming, running, water polo) and can help get those energetic doggos get moving! Since I work from home I can manage my schedule (more flexibility) and can either walk dogs in the afternoons or evenings. Weekends can be more flexible depending on the weekend. I have a fenced yard with a great outdoor space. I also live close to the Burke Gilman trail and love walking to Matthews Beach park or Meadowbrook park. I have a car so can drive to other destinations.

“Harper is great! She is extremely punctual, patient and thoughtful. On the hot day she brings water bottle so that my dog stays hydrated. My dog loves going for walks with Harper!”

About: Hi! My name is Jeanine. I work full‑time as a Fellowship Program Administrator, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. Though I’m new to Rover, I have close to a decade of experience pet sitting for friends and caring for my own cats. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 3‑month‑old black kitten I adopted last month. I see pets as family members and believe all animals are part of a vulnerable population that deserves just as much care and respect. My cats are my children! I’m a lover of all animals, and if I had the means to provide excellent care, I’d absolutely have an animal sanctuary. In late November 2025, I lost my 11‑year‑old cat to aggressive GI lymphoma. Caring for him through multiple health conditions gave me invaluable experience. He had asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, a throat tumor that blocked 90% of his airway (which was successfully removed), hip dysplasia (also a successful surgery), and a luxating patella that required an ankle brace. Going through all of this taught me how important it is to be in tune with your animals; recognizing signs of distress or pain, noticing small changes in behavior or routine, respecting boundaries, and staying aware of potential toxins or safety hazards in their environment. I also have experience with: - medication management (pills, liquid meds) - basic wound care (applying ointment, bandages) - shy, anxious, and reactive cats - kittens - dog walking - following routines (feeding schedules, walks, play, downtime) - comfort with senior pets and pets with chronic conditions - knowledge of cat behavior and body language - experience with multi‑pet households - providing frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured Whether they’re shy, silly, senior, or full of zoomies, I’m excited to care for them exactly how they need. And until I can open my dream animal sanctuary, I’m grateful for every pet I get to love and care for. I work full‑time, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. Since I’m home most of the week, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Depending on your needs, I’m flexible during weekdays. If I’m house sitting, I can provide playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t overlap with my meetings. If you’re booking dog‑walking only, I’m available early mornings, midday during my lunch break, and after 5pm. My availability is open and flexible on weekends, so I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pets need. Safety and comfort are huge for me. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want them to feel completely safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. I stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll always check in with you if anything needs to shift. In your home, I’m big on keeping things clean and cozy. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.
“Sheena really knows dogs and clearly loves them. My dog took to her tight away. She has been completely reliable and consistent. I come home to a relaxed, calm, contented dog.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for 4+ years and I love it! I look forward to feeding, walking and/or letting ‘em out every three hours! Feel free to reach out to see if I’m a good match to your fur baby’s needs! Thanks. I’m currently taking class online this Spring so I will be pretty much free from mornings to evenings to play and hangout with your fur baby! Let me know what times you’re looking to get service. I am more than happy to come over and hang out with them at your place if you would rather have me over to house-sit.
“Brannon was wonderful! He filled in on short notice and even walked my neighbor’s dog with my dog Martha (she also needed a walker). He built trust with Martha quickly. Highly recommended!”

“My snobby anti-stranger Basenji took to Darlayna in very short order. She really knows how dogs operate, and she totally gets my dog’s triggers and willful nature. I know my dog will get exercised and get plenty of houndly sniffs, and he will be SAFE.”

“Angela has been walking our dog Maggie 2-3 times per week for a few months and she is great! She’s on time and communicative in advanced with any changes to our weekly schedule. When we run into Angela in the neighborhood on our own walks, Maggie is so excited to see her!!!”

“Lynn was great walking our doodle and poodle. Our doodle loves everyone but our poodle can be pretty shy. Lynn showed a lot of patience with her and got her in her harness and walked each time. She also had no problem with two good sized dogs. We hope Lynn will continue to help us out when needed.”

About: Although I provide pet care occasionally, I have years of hands-on experience with a variety of animals. I grew up with bunnies and hamsters, and I now have two lovable cats of my own. I’ve also helped take care of friends’ dogs—whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply keeping them company. I’m often the one friends trust when they need someone dependable and gentle to look after their pets. I take on pet-sitting when my schedule allows, especially on afternoon, evenings or weekends. I enjoy making time to care for animals—it brings me a sense of calm and joy. Whether it’s feeding, cleaning litter boxes, or just sitting with a shy pet until they feel safe, I always go the extra mile to keep their routine and comfort intact. I’m a clean, tidy, and organized person who pays close attention to detail. You can trust that your home and pet will be well cared for. I’m patient and calm—great with animals who need a little time to warm up or those with particular routines. I follow all instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for in your absence.
“Angelina did a great job of taking care of my dog Ghost and communication was easy. I was able to enjoy my vacation without worrying about Ghost, and I appreciated the great pictures I got each time they went on a walk. I plan on asking Angelina to take care of Ghost for me again in the future!”

I also have two turtles at home, so I’m comfortable with a variety of pets and their unique needs. I currently work from home, so I’m available around the clock to give your pets the attention they need. My routine is flexible, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. “Tessa was communicative and quick in responding. She was available on short notice. Pluto loved walking with her. We will surely work with Tessa again. Strongly recommend.”

“Lyric was available on very short notice, and was so helpful and thoughtful with our pups. She offered to fill water when she wasn’t asked, and complimented how cute our dogs are! Highly recommend her :)”
“Raquel helped me out very last minute and was super flexible with my needs. I was so appreciative of the care and attention to detail she paid to my Kujo. Highly recommend for anyone. We will be booking again!”

Angelina did a great job of taking care of my dog Ghost and communication was easy. I was able to enjoy my vacation without worrying about Ghost, and I appreciated the great pictures I got each time they went on a walk. I plan on asking Angelina to take care of Ghost for me again in the future!

My dog was being a bit of a butt not wanting to walk, but Beetal spent time with her, gave her treats, and was responsive during and before the booking. She even left us a sweet note about how the day went. I would recommend Beetal to anyone else looking for responsible and kind pet care.

Carley was fantastic - she came over to meet our dog the day before she was scheduled to take him for a walk, then showed up for the walk on time, and took our dog for an hour-long walk. It seems our dog took to her immediately, she asked all the right questions during the meet-n-greet, and I'd absolutely reach out to Carley again in the future!

Samantha takes Maisey on walks every weekday and does a phenomenal job. She is incredibly reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. Maisey is always excited to see her and comes home happy and well-exercised. I especially appreciate that Samantha takes her on different routes to keep the walks interesting and engaging rather than following the same path every day. She is a very compassionate dog walker!

We are so appreciative of Jovi’s care, handling, and understanding for our big, energetic 1.5 year old Labrador puppy! Her walks are consistent and timely, she is responsive to work with, and she always makes sure our pup has water before she leaves. Thank you, Jovi!

Ella is so great with Cosmo & I can tell she really cares about our dog & gives him love and attention on walks while we’re at work. She responds super fast to my schedule requests & sends pics & updates of time with Cosmo every time. We are sad that she is moving & Cosmo won’t get to play with Ella anymore!
