“Kathryn and Mark were fantastic! They welcomed our Corgi, Bear, into their home and made him part of their family for the long weekend. They provided such peace-of-mind for us, with regular updates on all the fun they were having. I’m not sure Bear wanted to leave! We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”

“Nathan was an awesome Rover. He was easy to communicate and flexible for drop off and pick up. Hazel enjoyed her visit! Nathan provided great updates and photos that showed Hazel having a great time. Would highly recommend.”

“Our babies were well attended to and were as calm & contented as the day we dropped them off. Kelly & Karen are great host parents. We look forward to having them sit for us again in the future.”

“Kristi and her family did a wonderful job taking care of our pup. We had lots of updates and pictures throughout his stay. They even went the extra mile to include him in a Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas stocking present. Such an amazing family, we are so thankful for you all!! Highly recommend and will be contact again!”

“Jessica was an amazing dogsitter for our pup who stayed with her for a full week. Jessica communicated with us often while our dog was with her and cared for him as if he was her own dog. It's clear she has a love for dogs and a lot of experience caring for them. Jessica's care gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were on vacation. I would fully recommend Jessica without any reservations. ★★★★★”

“This was our first time using Rover, so we were pretty nervous to leave our little 9 month old precious puppy with someone we didn't know. After looking at quite a few sitters, Michelle and Brian just felt right! As soon as we met them, we knew we had the right people! Our puppy, Oakley, was immediately comfortable and feeling right at home. There were absolutely no hesitations, this was the place! They were so nice to send pictures along the way that showed how much fun Oakley was having with their puppy and how relaxed he was. It was very comforting to know he was in such good hands. We are thrilled to know the next time we go out of town, Oakley will have his own vacation. I know he can hardly wait to play with his new best friend! Do not hesitate. Michelle and Brian are perfect puppy sitters!”

“Sugar had a wonderful time with Margaret and Tony. They took excellent care of her and sent me numerous pictures so that I wouldn't worry. Highly recommended.”

“Sheena did so well with my two kiddos! Sterling can be a bit of a handful--he has anxiety and special needs (and is a bit of a grumpy old man). I can tell that she followed the most important directions I gave her based on his condition when I picked them up, I am very grateful. 🙂”

“I will be coming back to Maiko anytime I need a sitter for Titan. Maiko sent pictures everyday and kept me updated through texts. I was so happy to see how loved Titan in Maiko’s household, she really took care of him and made sure he felt welcomed. Thank you Maiko so much! ?”
“Philip was exceptional at watching our puppy Charlie. While we were gone, he’d send us pictures of Charlie, my kids loved seeing him while we were gone over two weeks. He took him on walks, played with him and let him lounge on his couch together. Very last minute I asked if Philip would be okay administrating medications to our dog that he needed and he was very flexible and had no issues doing so. Our go to guy for future needs. So grateful for honest and kind people like Philip who will treat your pet as their own family member. Charlie is the happiest I’ve ever seen him, truly.”

“Isabella was so so great with our dog, Benji! She kept us updated on how he was each day and really went the extra mile with making sure Benji was comfortable. Really appreciate the great care and I wouldn’t think twice about leaving my dog with her again ! ❤️”

“Ziyan took such great care of our Sadie while we were away! She made sure that Sadie was comfortable with her dog prior to the stay and sent daily updates and pictures, even taking her on hikes and runs. We truly felt like she treated Sadie like a member of her family and would love to have her watch Sadie again!”

“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime. We love that Pepper gets along so well with Ellie’s sweet dog Bear. Overall our dog had a great time and would absolutely book with Ellie in the future. Highly recommend!”

“We go on vacation twice yearly and use Debbie and Paul exclusively. Our dogs, Maddie & Lexie, get so excited when our car pulls up in their driveway which lets me know how much they enjoy staying with them. During their stay, we get tons of photos showing all the walks, love, cuddles & attention that Debbie & Paul provide. I can tell the girls are happy and content. Debbie will also text that all is well, which I appreciate. No cons, all pros. I highly recommend Debbie and Paul!”
“Jiani provided attentive care for my cat while we were away for a week. My cat, Todie, stayed with Jiani at her place, and Todie is usually very shy and nervous in new places. With frequent photo updates from Jiani, I was able to tell that Todie grew comfortable in her care rather quickly, and it relieved much stress on my end. Jiani was very flexible with picking up Todie and dropping her back off, too, which made planning easy for me! I will absolutely rebook with Jiani in the future!”

“Talia is the best! She was very attentive to the needs of our 3-year-old pug, asked great questions ahead of the overnight sit, and gave us daily updates that included photos of our smiling pup. We highly recommend Talia’s services to anyone reading this review. Our family will no doubt be repeat clients!”

“Connie is fantastic! She’s taken care of my cat several times now, and things have gone super smoothly each time. She is friendly and communicates well, and is my go-to sitter any time I travel. I can’t recommend her enough!!”

“Gina is fantastic! She does a great job with my cat and is very respectful of my home. She is flexible and was able to adjust plans last minute to stop by and feed my cat when I couldn’t come home. So grateful for her!”

“Jiani is awesome! I have an outgoing and shy cat and she really took the time to play with both cats! She’s amazing at sending tons of photos and keeping me up to date with how they are doing too. I can tell they really enjoyed her visits which makes it so nice to travel and know their in good hands!! Highly recommend Jiani!”

About: Hi! My name is Jeanine. I work full‑time as a Fellowship Program Administrator, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. Though I’m new to Rover, I have close to a decade of experience pet sitting for friends and caring for my own cats. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 3‑month‑old black kitten I adopted last month. I see pets as family members and believe all animals are part of a vulnerable population that deserves just as much care and respect. My cats are my children! I’m a lover of all animals, and if I had the means to provide excellent care, I’d absolutely have an animal sanctuary. In late November 2025, I lost my 11‑year‑old cat to aggressive GI lymphoma. Caring for him through multiple health conditions gave me invaluable experience. He had asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, a throat tumor that blocked 90% of his airway (which was successfully removed), hip dysplasia (also a successful surgery), and a luxating patella that required an ankle brace. Going through all of this taught me how important it is to be in tune with your animals; recognizing signs of distress or pain, noticing small changes in behavior or routine, respecting boundaries, and staying aware of potential toxins or safety hazards in their environment. I also have experience with: - medication management (pills, liquid meds) - basic wound care (applying ointment, bandages) - shy, anxious, and reactive cats - kittens - dog walking - following routines (feeding schedules, walks, play, downtime) - comfort with senior pets and pets with chronic conditions - knowledge of cat behavior and body language - experience with multi‑pet households - providing frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured Whether they’re shy, silly, senior, or full of zoomies, I’m excited to care for them exactly how they need. And until I can open my dream animal sanctuary, I’m grateful for every pet I get to love and care for. I work full‑time, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. Since I’m home most of the week, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Depending on your needs, I’m flexible during weekdays. If I’m house sitting, I can provide playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t overlap with my meetings. If you’re booking dog‑walking only, I’m available early mornings, midday during my lunch break, and after 5pm. My availability is open and flexible on weekends, so I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pets need. Safety and comfort are huge for me. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want them to feel completely safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. I stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll always check in with you if anything needs to shift. In your home, I’m big on keeping things clean and cozy. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.
“Jennifer was great taking care of my two kitties. She respected their space if they felt nervous and also helped problem solve some mail and (eek!) ant issues she encountered. Recognizing a fellow Jennifer, she made a quick bond with my shy little guy. It was nice to see him so comfortable around someone new. Thanks Jennifer!!”

“In addition taking care of my wild little cat for two full weeks, Jenica fed fish in an outdoor pond, and kept the birds and squirrels supplied with birdseed and peanuts. Jenica is reliable, attentive to details, and caring. I returned to a happy well fed cat. Highly recommend.”

“Meagan took great care of our cats Honu and Bear, as always! We love her many updates and pictures, and our cats clearly enjoy her company and care too. :)”

“Brannon did house sitting for our cat during a five-day trip, and the whole experience was great and very smooth. He was quick to respond to messages and easy to schedule a meet-and-greet with, as well as a very friendly and responsible person. He was great with our cat, and it was clear even from the photos he sent while we were away that she felt totally relaxed and comfortable while he was taking care of her. We'd gladly have Brannon watch our cat again, and recommend him to others.”

“Judy was great with both of my furbabies and I was very grateful for her! She kept them safe and content in their own home while I was away! Will use her again in the future!! Judy you rock and you’re the best!!!🫶😻😇🤗😎🎉”

“My cats loved Kim! Usually Atlas is standoffish but he really came out of his shell with Kim and her partner Christian. Kim also was able to administer oral medication to our other cat Finnegan. I got tons of photos and updates. Would recommend!”

“Zephyr is amazing with my cat Lulu. He took a last minute booking for me and I could tell from the pictures that my cat enjoyed his company. Highly recommend his services (:”

“Lynn took great care of our two cats with our last minute request. She was responsive to the initial inquiry and kept informed during our trip. We would book her again.”

“Taryn was a fantastic pet sitter! She was very friendly, professional, and gave my two senior cats excellent loving care while I was away. I would book her again.”

“Phuong took excellent care of our kitties while we were away. Phuong is very communicative. She asked lots of questions about the cats and showed genuine interest in them and their care before accepting the job. She also took the time to meet the cats before our trip. One of my cats often hides the entire time we are away and can miss out on meals, however Phuong made sure to locate her so she could eat. She sent us pictures of both cats and kept us updated on their health and care. I highly recommend Phuong!”

“Lorena took excellent care of my dog. He came home after both days of daycare content, happy and a little tired. I felt really at ease with Lorena, and her communication is excellent. My dog definitely loved being with her which really made me very happy!”

“Wilbur had a wonderful time with Katherine and Hana. It usually takes him some time to settle into a new space but he really seemed to feel at home. We are looking forward to next time!”

“Wonderful experience! My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable during her time with Margot. Communication was great, and I really appreciated the care and attention. I've already booked again! Highly recommend!”

“Sheena did an excellent job providing daycare for my pup, Hati. Hati was able to socialize with other dogs in a more personalized environment, play and be her silly self. This is so important for my partner and I since we work 9-12 hour shifts. Sheena sent us pictures of Hati having fun and an overall review. I’m beyond grateful for her services and would recommend Sheena to anyone.”

“Our first Rover sitter and we are absolutely blown away! Our dog suffers from separation anxiety so we are always unsure how a daycare will work out, but Carmen was so enthusiastic and loving with Wilbur that he seemed to not care that we were away from him all day! She sent lots of great pictures and did a great job of providing updates. It was a great experience and we can't wait to have Wilbur stay with Carmen again!”

“Our guy has a great time today! We were in town for a family event and needed to have him somewhere fun and safe while he couldn’t be with us. He was tuckered out at pickup. We’ll be back if needed!”

About: I work from home and love dogs and cats! However I cannot have my own at this time. I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats, having had both. In my free time, I used to volunteer taking dogs from a nearby shelter for walks, I find it personally just very rewarding (and great exercise)! Because I work from my home, I can be more flexible with my schedule. I live next to the Burke Gilman trail and love to take walks. I am active as a person (swimming, running, water polo) and can help get those energetic doggos get moving! Since I work from home I can manage my schedule (more flexibility) and can either walk dogs in the afternoons or evenings. Weekends can be more flexible depending on the weekend. I have a fenced yard with a great outdoor space. I also live close to the Burke Gilman trail and love walking to Matthews Beach park or Meadowbrook park. I have a car so can drive to other destinations.

About: I am the first to say “pick me!” when a friend is in need for a pet-sitter. I feel very comfortable around animals and love to be in their company. We, I and my husband have a 2.5 years old Miniature American Shepard, Iris. We have grown her up since she was about 2 months old. We live in a house with fenced backyard so your dog will have a good space to run around during the day time. I am not working and stay at home mostly I can stay close to your dog so that they don't feel lonely during your absence, of course Iris is here for your dog too :). I can follow a specific schedule or your dog's needs like feeding time or walking time, or anything for making your dog feel as comfortable as possible. Drop-ins are always welcomed, but I don't drive so cannot come to pickup your pups sorry... My day starts with letting my dog go backyard then feed her. After having a coffee I usually walk around with Iris and do some shores. play with toys and fetch on the backyard a few times during the daytime and go for a walk again in the evening. Feed dinner and do the last short walk for potty around 10:30 pm before going bed. We have fenced yard so your dog can exercise during the day. And living in a peaceful residential neighborhood allows us to walk around with pups safely. I care your dog as I care my dog for sure. A lot of plays and walks, and hugs. I also have a lot of toys in the house and different style of beds so your dog will find something fit for them! if they want :)

“Darlayna took great care of our pup! She took him on two walks, sent pictures, and very responsive! When it was time to pick him up, our dog looked like he’d been having a great time!”

“Brittney and Will were by far one of the best Rovers we’ve used to-date. Our 90-lb Sheppard-Pitbull Theo is a high energy and somewhat nervous dog and they were the perfect match for him. It’s always a stressor leaving our boy in care of somebody else but we were at ease leaving him with Brittney and Will. Brittney kept us updated on Theo very frequently which we loved and you can tell they have such a love for dogs. Thanks you two! Until next time! 😊”

“Rudy had a great time at Linda's house! He got lots of attention & love. I got lots of pictures and updates. Rudy was relaxed and happy when I picked him up. I highly recommend Linda.”
About: I have had a dog at home for 16 years, and my family and neighbors have left their pets with me to take care of while they are on vacation. I love animals and would be an excellent friend and caregiver for your pet. I currently work part time, but I will have plenty of time to play and take care of your pet. I will be available a few days a week in the morning and afternoon, just write to me and we will make an appointment to pick up your pet. I have a closed patio to take care of your pet for a certain time, I also have a dog and a cat at home to keep your pet company.
“Yufang took such great care of Taco! Her home is well set up for dog care — safe, clean, and comfortable. Taco got plenty of playtime, attention, and belly rubs, and came home happy and relaxed. I really appreciated all the pics and video.”

“They took excellent care of my dog, he got a lot of socializing and exercise, very tired when we got home. The next day when I took him back he couldn't wait to get in and do it again. Great communication, and worked with me with irregular hours. I couldn't be happier with the care Thor got.”

“Vicki's daycare is amazing! I'm so glad we found her. Out shy guy, Lucky, is already snuggling with her! She knows dogs and is so good with them. We're in for as long as she'll have us :)”

“Jan and Elena did awesome job when I left my puppy for the first time overnight with them. I was so worry at first because he has never separated from me before. It was his first time traveling to Seattle and he was very anxious at the hotel. They took him in as the last minute plan change and took care of him as their own. He looked very happy when I picked him up.”

About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. Specific Skills: Reactivity, Anxiety/Fear, Strong Pullers, Stranger Danger, Training Basics I work remotely on East Coast hours — my schedule has plenty of flexibility! I'm happy to accomodate based on your pet's needs and schedule. I would love to use my years of dog and cat handling experience to take your dog out to stretch its legs, hang out with your kitty and make sure their physical and emotional needs are fulfilled.

“Sheena has been great and reliable! She walks both the dogs in the house and does them together something that can be a challenge for even me. Thank you Sheena!!”

“Allie was a wonderful dog walker! She was a great communicator and took some very cute pictures. She also was super kind when my dog was having some potty troubles, so she definitely goes above and beyond!”

“Brannon was wonderful! He filled in on short notice and even walked my neighbor’s dog with my dog Martha (she also needed a walker). He built trust with Martha quickly. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for 4+ years and I love it! I look forward to feeding, walking and/or letting ‘em out every three hours! Feel free to reach out to see if I’m a good match to your fur baby’s needs! Thanks. I’m currently taking class online this Spring so I will be pretty much free from mornings to evenings to play and hangout with your fur baby! Let me know what times you’re looking to get service. I am more than happy to come over and hang out with them at your place if you would rather have me over to house-sit.
“Booked a walk on short notice since I overstretched my calf and Angela was willing to walk Uber the same day. They went 1.5 miles in an hour despite Uber being the type of dog to sniff every few feet. Uber came home happy and smiley. Would book with Angela again.”

“Lynn is so professional, and so fantastic with my dog, Lily. So happy to have found her and I intend on using her services consistently for the foreseeable future!”

About: Although I provide pet care occasionally, I have years of hands-on experience with a variety of animals. I grew up with bunnies and hamsters, and I now have two lovable cats of my own. I’m a clean, tidy, and organized person who pays close attention to detail. You can trust that your home and pet will be well cared for. I’m patient and calm—great with animals who need a little time to warm up or those with particular routines. I follow all instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for in your absence.
About: Hi, I’m Angie (they/she)! I’m a dog parent and PhD student with 4+ years of walking and caring for my own reactive dog, and 17 years of petsitting dogs, cats, small mammals, and lizards. My routine is flexible, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. Whether your pet prefers a structured schedule or more relaxed companionship, I can easily adapt to their needs and keep them comfortable and happy. In my home, pets have plenty of space to feel comfortable. I own a large house with a fully fenced yard, perfect for safe play and outdoor time. I also have a friendly dog named Lola who’s very used to meeting new dog friends and enjoys having company. I make sure visiting pets get lots of attention, exercise, and a calm, welcoming environment. Whether it’s indoor relaxation or supervised play outside, your pet will feel right at home here.

About: Hi there! I'm a University of Washington student studying Communications with an emphasis on business. I have a large fur baby at home, named after Clint Dempsey. I have attended obedience class with my puppy (every dog is a puppy, no matter how old!) and have raised/trained other pups some rudimentary skills. My job is to relieve your stress while you're away from your puppers and send you cute pictures of him/her! I know the feeling of worrying about who to trust to let the dog out so I am more than happy to take that worry away for you! Whether your dog is an active fellow or a lazy one, I am the one you're looking for to lounge around with your dog and/ or go on a run with.
