“Amazing! I booked a last minute stay over Fourth of July weekend and Mana was so accommodating. She squeezed in a pre stay introduction for the dogs, then took amazing care of Obi over the three days. I got so many photos (and a video) and she even refilled my poop bag dispenser from her own stash when ours ran out and sent obi home with a little extra treat. Outstanding sitter, would book again without hesitation.”

“Our babies were well attended to and were as calm & contented as the day we dropped them off. Kelly & Karen are great host parents. We look forward to having them sit for us again in the future.”

“Sheena did so well with my two kiddos! Sterling can be a bit of a handful--he has anxiety and special needs (and is a bit of a grumpy old man). I can tell that she followed the most important directions I gave her based on his condition when I picked them up, I am very grateful. 🙂”

“Philip was exceptional at watching our puppy Charlie. While we were gone, he’d send us pictures of Charlie, my kids loved seeing him while we were gone over two weeks. He took him on walks, played with him and let him lounge on his couch together. Very last minute I asked if Philip would be okay administrating medications to our dog that he needed and he was very flexible and had no issues doing so. Our go to guy for future needs. So grateful for honest and kind people like Philip who will treat your pet as their own family member. Charlie is the happiest I’ve ever seen him, truly.”

“Isabella and Gui were the best hosts! Bobo truly had his own vacation in form of dog parks and couch snuggles. Your pup would be lucky to be cared by them!”

I liked that our dogs were able to socialize with their dogs in a big backyard. Our dogs settled right in with Lauren and Ryan after a long day of play and fun.”

“We had such a great experience with Margaret and Tony taking care of our two dogs while we were away on our family vacation. They took amazing care of both of our pups and gave us total peace of mind the entire time. We really appreciated the regular photo updates; it meant a lot to see our dogs happy, out on walks, and getting plenty of love and attention. It was clear they weren’t just being “watched,” but genuinely cared for. The extra TLC, consistency, and communication made all the difference. We came home to two very happy, well-cared-for dogs, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful, and attentive pet care!”

“Joann was very communicative throughout the whole week she boarded our pup Miller. We felt very comfortable leaving him! Joann’s house and backyard was very dog friendly with lots of space for him to play. An added bonus was the new turf that she just put in which kept our pup from getting muddy in the yard when playing. We loved having Miller stay with Joann and her other golden retrievers. He had a blast.”

“Talia took great care of our dog while we were out of town. He had some additional medical needs due to an injury, and Talia handled it all with care and open communication. I felt anxious to leave him but I knew he was in good hands with Talia.”

About: Hi! My name is Jeanine. I work full‑time as a Fellowship Program Administrator, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. Though I’m new to Rover, I have a decade of experience pet sitting for friends and caring for my own cats. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 4-month‑old black kitten I adopted in late May. I see pets as family members and believe all animals are part of a vulnerable population that deserves just as much care and respect. My cats are my children! I’m a lover of all animals, and if I had the means to provide excellent care, I’d absolutely have an animal sanctuary. In late November 2025, I lost my 11‑year‑old cat to aggressive GI lymphoma. Caring for him through multiple health conditions gave me invaluable experience. He had asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, a throat tumor that blocked 90% of his airway (which was successfully removed), hip dysplasia (also a successful surgery), and a luxating patella that required an ankle brace. Going through all of this taught me how important it is to be in tune with your animals; recognizing signs of distress or pain, noticing small changes in behavior or routine, respecting boundaries, and staying aware of potential toxins or safety hazards in their environment. I also have experience with: - medication management (pills, liquid meds) - basic wound care (applying ointment, bandages) - shy, anxious, and reactive cats - kittens - dog walking - following routines (feeding schedules, walks, play, downtime) - comfort with senior pets and pets with chronic conditions - knowledge of cat behavior and body language - experience with multi‑pet households - providing frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured Whether they’re shy, silly, senior, or full of zoomies, I’m excited to care for them exactly how they need. And until I can open my dream animal sanctuary, I’m grateful for every pet I get to love and care for. I work full‑time, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. Since I’m home most of the week, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Depending on your needs, I’m flexible during weekdays. If I’m house sitting, I can provide playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t overlap with my meetings. If you’re booking dog‑walking only, I’m available early mornings, midday during my lunch break, and after 5pm. My availability is open and flexible on weekends, so I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pets need. Safety and comfort are huge for me. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want them to feel completely safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. I stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll always check in with you if anything needs to shift. In your home, I’m big on keeping things clean and cozy. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.
“Tessa was so helpful with caring for Miso while I was out of town. Tessa is an excellent communicator, and provided photos throughout the trip to keep me updated. I’ll definitely be booking again in the future. Thanks so much!”

“My cat LOVES Hannah. And I love that I can trust her with my home and my fur baby. Hannah has taken care of my cat many times and we’ll continue to call on her with pet care needs.”

“Connie was amazing and I feel so lucky to have worked with her. She cared for my cat with meticulous love and attention, and he bonded with her. She sent frequent updates and was always responsive and responsible. I felt so at ease knowing my beloved pet was taken such good care of. Our flight home was unexpectedly cancelled and we were re-booked the next day. Connie was able to arrange things to stay one more night. I feel a tremendous amount of appreciation and gratitude for her.”

“We love Lorena! My dog is always so happy and excited to see her. I know he feels safe and at home during his stays. When he comes home he’s always calm and relaxed like he’s had the best day. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Super appreciative of Sheena watching our dog for the first time on such short notice. She kept us posted and gave us a great recap of what the day looked like for our pup.”

About: I work from home and love dogs and cats! However I cannot have my own at this time. I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats, having had both. In my free time, I used to volunteer taking dogs from a nearby shelter for walks, I find it personally just very rewarding (and great exercise)! Because I work from my home, I can be more flexible with my schedule. I live next to the Burke Gilman trail and love to take walks. I am active as a person (swimming, running, water polo) and can help get those energetic doggos get moving! Since I work from home I can manage my schedule (more flexibility) and can either walk dogs in the afternoons or evenings. Weekends can be more flexible depending on the weekend. I have a fenced yard with a great outdoor space. I also live close to the Burke Gilman trail and love walking to Matthews Beach park or Meadowbrook park. I have a car so can drive to other destinations.
“Wilbur had a wonderful time with Katherine and Hana. It usually takes him some time to settle into a new space but he really seemed to feel at home. We are looking forward to next time!”

“Our guy has a great time today! We were in town for a family event and needed to have him somewhere fun and safe while he couldn’t be with us. He was tuckered out at pickup. We’ll be back if needed!”

“Wonderful experience! My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable during her time with Margot. Communication was great, and I really appreciated the care and attention. I've already booked again! Highly recommend!”

“Best pup whisperer ever! Takes him on nice long walks and/or gives him lots of play and exercise at home when dog sitting. He is always excited to see her and doesn't want to leave her. 10 out of 5 stars from Alfie”

About: As a dedicated pet parent to three cats and one dog, I truly understand the daily care, attention, and love our furry companions need. My experience goes beyond occasional pet sitting—it’s part of my everyday life. I’m familiar with different pet personalities, from shy and independent cats to energetic and affectionate dogs. This helps me tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. Since I work from home, I’m able to give my pet plenty of attention throughout the day. I walk them at least twice daily—usually once in the morning and again in the evening—to ensure they get enough exercise and stimulation. I also have a backyard, which gives them extra space to play and move around freely during the day. I care for pets in my home, which is a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. I have a nice fenced backyard where pets can play and explore safely. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, perfect for regular walks and outdoor time. There are also other pets in the home, providing companionship and socialization when appropriate. I make sure each pet feels loved, secure, and well cared for throughout their stay.
“Our first Rover sitter and we are absolutely blown away! Our dog suffers from separation anxiety so we are always unsure how a daycare will work out, but Carmen was so enthusiastic and loving with Wilbur that he seemed to not care that we were away from him all day! She sent lots of great pictures and did a great job of providing updates. It was a great experience and we can't wait to have Wilbur stay with Carmen again!”

“Mashid was friendly, reliable, and took care of Benji’s every need. We appreciated the photo updates and we could tell Benji felt relaxed and happy in her care. We would definitely book again in the future!”

“Michelle was great! Our girl was relaxed and sleeping when we picked her up at end of day and smiling in the photo from their walk. We would be happy to have Michelle watch Soleil again in future.”

“Brittney and Will were by far one of the best Rovers we’ve used to-date. Our 90-lb Sheppard-Pitbull Theo is a high energy and somewhat nervous dog and they were the perfect match for him. It’s always a stressor leaving our boy in care of somebody else but we were at ease leaving him with Brittney and Will. Brittney kept us updated on Theo very frequently which we loved and you can tell they have such a love for dogs. Thanks you two! Until next time! 😊”

“Vicki did so great with my nervous dog! She knew exactly how to handle her and make her feel comfortable. I loved the update and all the photos. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with her over the holidays.”

“Kenny was great! He provided regular updates, was on-time for pick up and drop off, and provided special care for our dog who has a few unique needs. Our dog came home calm and happy. We hope to book with Kenny again!”

“Harper is great! She is extremely punctual, patient and thoughtful. On the hot day she brings water bottle so that my dog stays hydrated. My dog loves going for walks with Harper!”

About: I have had many pets over the years and have a soft heart for all animals. I am communicative, follow instructions, and am very responsible. Currently jobless and could really use the work until I find a new one. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and in home sitting currently. Feel free to message me with questions. I believe that transparent communication and honesty are important to being good with pets. Each visit will get you 2-4 pictures and a detailed Rover card of the visit. Currently, I have a fully fenced in yard, understand leash safety and being a pet owner myself, understand the responsibility of pets.

About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. Specific Skills: Reactivity, Anxiety/Fear, Strong Pullers, Stranger Danger, Training Basics I work remotely on East Coast hours — my schedule has plenty of flexibility! I'm happy to accomodate based on your pet's needs and schedule. I would love to use my years of dog and cat handling experience to take your dog out to stretch its legs, hang out with your kitty and make sure their physical and emotional needs are fulfilled.

“Debs & Paul are the first people we have ever felt completely comfortable leaving our 118lb teenage GSD. We wanted to work with people that would love him for the big sweet puppy he is while also understanding that his age and his breed demand engagement, understanding and patients. We have had them come by for check ins, walks, long term sitting at our house and an over night at their house. All instances have involved great communication, lots of pictures and very clear and honest updates. We feel so lucky to have found people genuinely love our dog and don’t mind that we are crazy about him.”

“Allie was a wonderful dog walker! She was a great communicator and took some very cute pictures. She also was super kind when my dog was having some potty troubles, so she definitely goes above and beyond!”

“Lynn was great walking our doodle and poodle. Our doodle loves everyone but our poodle can be pretty shy. Lynn showed a lot of patience with her and got her in her harness and walked each time. She also had no problem with two good sized dogs. We hope Lynn will continue to help us out when needed.”

“Maiko took such great care of Iggy. She sent so many adorable photos, and it’s clear he loved his time there a lot! It’s always a little nerve-wracking to have my dog stay with someone new but I felt completely at ease with her frequent updates. I would definitely recommend Maiko and her family to take care your dog as well, and I would absolutely book with her again 😁”

“It was wonderful having Ziyan care for Odessa. She was so caring and thoughtful. I felt very confident that Odessa would be very well taken care of, and she sure was. The updates and pictures were very well received and Ziyan was so attentive to Odessa’s needs. I would highly recommend her!”

“Fantastic! Lauren and Ryan cared for our dogs like they were one of their own. The dogs had so much fun they didn't want to go home. Lauren provided lots of pictures and updates every day.

“Tunyi's was so far the best to board our dog and we have tried multiple dogsitters near us. She shared so many videos and pictures of our dog even without us requesting. Our dog seemed happy, comfortable and well taken care of. We will definitely consider Tunyi to watch our dog should we need help again in the future.”

“Our old dog was hard to leave as he is getting very close to the end. He made it through with Chris, and we are very grateful. Chris was communicative about Bravo’s missteps and let me know when all was well too and sent reassuring pictures. He was accommodating about drop and pick up as well.”

“Kay did a great job taking care of Luna! Luna came back happy and well cared for. Kay communicated frequently, made sure Luna had her meals, and Luna clearly had a fun time with Kay and her pups. We really appreciated the care and would happily recommend her.”

“Carolyn is a fantastic dog sitter, she sent a lot of updates and pictures of our corgi throughout the week. She took really good care of our dog, we would definitely recommend her services!”

“Rachel was so great with our dog Charlie. Communicative and sent lots of pictures each day which made me feel so much less anxiety about leaving him knowing that he was getting such great care :)”

“Eleanor was absolutely amazing with our pups while we were traveling internationally. She kept us at ease with consistent updates and lots of photos, which we really appreciated. It was clear they were in great hands the entire time. We’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“I loved knowing that I was dropping Buster off to Rose and Bodhi for a fun week of activity and adventure. Rose provided the perfect amount of updates to show me that Buster was being well taken care of. I like that she wasn't just dog sitting him at her home, but he got to meet other friends and go to the dog park. A vacation for everyone!”

“Michelle is the go-to dog sitter we have been looking for — truly a dream come true! From the moment we dropped off Elsa, we felt completely at ease. Michelle sent regular updates with adorable photos and thoughtful notes about Elsa’s behavior, friendships with the other dogs, and even Elsa’s clever AC placement strategy (smart girl 😅). Elsa clearly felt right at home, lounging with her new pup pals, sharing the couch, playing with toys, and enjoying her favorite treats. Michelle handled it all with so much care, intuition, and joy. She created such a warm and peaceful environment for the dogs — complete with cozy rest time, play breaks, and weather-appropriate accommodations. I could tell Elsa was relaxed, happy, and thriving the entire stay. I would absolutely recommend Michelle to anyone looking for an attentive, compassionate, and truly delightful sitter. Elsa can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for loving her like your own 💛🐾”
