We have one cat who is extremely nervous and fearful of strangers yet they still manage to snap a few pictures of her and, every once in a while, she even comes out of her hiding space for them. This is unheard of when anyone else is at our house. If Debs and Paul are not available when we want to go out of town, we don't go. They are that good! I wouldn't trust our kitties to anyone else.”

About: Aside from having a cat as a young girl, I worked at a pet hotel for 1 & 1/2 years where I took care of many different breeds of cats (in addition to caring for dogs). I cleaned their litter boxes daily, administered medications (mostly pills/oral medications), changed out water and food, as well as handled cats by transferring them in and out of cat carriers. About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life, I've always been surrounded by their love, sometimes as an owner and sometimes as the family dog sitter. About: I was born with an 8-year-old Great Dane, so I've been around dogs literally since I was born. I regularly volunteer at Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, working with puppies during puppy yoga and wrangling puppies during the monthly Puppy Prov, when puppies participate in an improv comedy show. I also walk some of my neighbor's dogs. I don't have a dog right now, but I still love dogs and pet them every chance I get. I'm in school on weekdays, but I am free most weekends except for the first Saturday of every month when I'm usually volunteering with puppies. When the school year ends, I will be available on weekdays and not weekends. I maintain attention and make sure the dog has a chance to sniff things along the way but not eat anything. I've dealt with energetic dogs in the past so I can divert a dog's attention if it wants to interact with another dog who doesn't want to. I can also work on training dogs to heel during our walks.
About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I do have a special spot in my heart for rescue animals, as the loving owner of a rescue dog named Lola (she gives lots of love in return). My experience adopting, training, and caring for a rescue animal gives me insight into caring for your pet. I know the importance of keeping an eye on your pet's behavior and staying aware of triggers, so your pup can be safe and have fun. Safety is my #1 priority, and my #2 priority is fun.
