About: I’m comfortable caring for cats with different personalities and different levels of care needs. I’m patient with shy or cautious cats and always let them approach me at their own pace. I also have personal experience caring for a cat through a serious illness. When my own cat was young, he became very sick and required frequent trips to the vet and careful daily care. Going through that experience taught me to be attentive to changes in appetite, behavior, energy levels, and overall well-being. For every cat I care for, I’ll follow your instructions carefully and keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, and a clean litter box, while also giving them playtime, attention, or simply quiet companionship depending on what they’re comfortable with. About: I’ve had cats my entire life and have experience caring for cats of all ages, personalities, and temperaments. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I had two dogs as a kid and now I own an amazing German Shepard Husky mix. I love and enjoy being around dogs and puppies. I work as a catering contractor. My job is very flexible and I create my own schedule. I have lots of free time to take care of your dogs. About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. About: Over the years, my husband and I have shared our lives with all kinds of dogs: farm dogs, little dogs, a Great Dane in a studio apartment, and now our Mini Australian Shepherd. We have learned and refined our dog ownership skills over time, finally investing in professional training for both our dog and ourselves in 2025. That experience shaped the kind of care I offer today. I believe dogs thrive with clear structure, consistency, and calm communication. I strive to provide the kind of boarding experience I wish I could find for my own dog, where training, routines, and boundaries are respected while you're away. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my day. We have a large, fully fenced backyard, daily walks, and a very friendly Mini Australian Shepherd who enjoys canine company. Your dog won't be left alone for a typical workday. I do leave the house for school drop-offs and pick-ups, errands, or weekend activities. Dogs should be comfortable being alone for a few hours. Because I have both a young child and my own dog, I only accept dogs that: -Are friendly with children and other dogs. -Are up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention. -Can comfortably settle into a family home.
