I got my first dog training book when I was in third grade. I had always loved animals, and had finally been given the responsibility of my own dog ( a dachshund I named July.) Since then, I've been lucky enough to be entrusted with the care of many wonderful animals. My favorites are the skittish or aloof critters who need a little extra patience before they're willing to give their trust.

My style is calm and centered. I take a little time to let animals get used to me before I try and disrupt their day at all. My preference is to meet dogs with their people and see what their routines are so I can be as consistent as possible with commands and training.

Allie is super reliable, punctual, responsible, and made our dog feel safe and comfortable super quickly. She always let us know if anything out of the ordinary happened. She took amazing care of our pup. We highly recommend her!!

Allie was wonderful with all three pups and made sure to send lots of updates and pics! She sat over the July 4th weekend and did great managing the firework anxiety, as well as making sure that two of them got all their meds for surgery recovery. Allie was also kindly flexible with her schedule and made it possible for me to extend my trip one more night. Will absolutely be hiring Allie again - she did an amazing job!!

Schedule
I work freelance as a copywriter and have a lot of flexibility during the workday. I'm more than happy to check in on your pets during long work days or take them out on a walk to stretch their legs.

- • Any behavioral needs or triggers (noises, other dogs, strangers, bikes, etc.) • Food sensitivities or allergies (I sometimes carry treats!) • How your pet prefers to receive praise or reassurance—words, pets, space, treats? • Walk preferences (short and sniffy, long and energetic, avoid crowded areas?) • Routines that help them feel safe (feeding times, crate/rest time, comfort items) • Any quirks or “need-to-know” habits that are unique to your pet The more you share, the better I can show up for your animal the way you would.
