“Although my 6-year-old miniature dachshund, Piper, has stayed with friends/family before, this was my first time using a professional service like Rover and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Maria was exceptionally responsive and flexible with timing. She sent plenty of photos/videos/updates during our short weekend trip that truly set our minds at ease. Piper has cerebellar hypoplasia (the wobbly disease) and has trouble with fine motor skills. Maria had no issue altering her care to suit Piper's limitations. She even took Piper out to a cafe in a stroller for enrichment since she physically can't walk far on her own! Considering my partner has experience petsitting for over two decades and I worry (perhaps too much) about the care my dog will receive while I'm away, we were both impressed with Maria and would gladly hire her again to take care of Piper.”

About: I’ve been around animals since I was a child. I’ve had family dogs and cats since I was a child. Our first fury family pal was Jake, we got him when I was 10. He crossed the rainbow bridge after a long and happy life of 13 years. He was succeeded by our rambunctious pup, Franklin. He was greeted by his feline fur brothers and us and has been in the family since. Only a few years after his arrival, we adopted Drake(terrier mix). I have been around dogs and cats my entire life and have had experience walking, feeding, petting, and entertaining animals for many many years and it never gets boring! I work early in the morning part time and have opportunity to spend my mid evenings and nights with your beloved family pets for walks or drop in check ins. As of now, I’m available starting at 1230 pm. Send a message to confirm tho. I try my hardest to be as accommodating as possible! I care for pets as I would my own. Animals have a different way of seeing the world and that outlook is sacred and not to be taken advantage of. So I care for them with the same TLC as their parents would!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. I grew up with pets. I worked in a veterinary clinic assisting with surgery, bathing, feeding and grooming. I adopted a dog that was going to be euthanized because he was very aggressive. He only allowed me to feed him. After that I helped him become more friendly. About: Whether your pet needs an high energy walk or a calm comforting presence while you’re away, I treat every animal with the absolute highest level of respect, love, and attention. I currently work part time from home! So my availability is extremely open and flexible any time after 8 am! The weekends are open early in the morning to early evening. I have two cats in my apartment and they have plenty of space. I spoil my cats with attention and treats. They also like to go outside on my balcony and I safely monitor them while they're out there.
