“Lorena took care of Ginkgo like he was her own! She provided daily updates while we were away and missing him. She and her husband are wonderful caretakers and they are definitely our go-to dog sitters going forward.”

“Wonderful man! My dog loved him and had a great time. I was nervous leaving my dog with a rover sitter, but Philip kept me updated and sent me pics. I felt at peace knowing Stitch was with someone who truly cared about him.”

“Isabella was so so great with our dog, Benji! She kept us updated on how he was each day and really went the extra mile with making sure Benji was comfortable. Really appreciate the great care and I wouldn’t think twice about leaving my dog with her again ! ❤️”

“Finding sitters who truly care about your dog is tough, but Kelly and Karen exceeded all expectations. Tony is usually a bit anxious, but Kelly makes him feel better. Their communication was excellent, and gave me update(pic/vidoes)about Tony during i was on my vacation. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of my boy…”

“Jessica took great care of our dog, Holly. We received daily updates on how Holly was doing and she made our dog feel at home in a new environment. Jessica demonstrates a lot of patience and compassion for animals and also takes beautiful pictures of her furry guests. We are grateful that we know Holly will be cared for and safe when we are away from home. Thank you Jessica (and Mochi)!”

“Sheena took great care of my dog, Uno. She handled introductions between Uno and her own dog really well. She updated me with photos, and Uno looked like he was having a great time. It was clear he was in good hands and well cared for. I’d definitely recommend Sheena to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog sitter.”

“Margaret and Tony gave us the rare gift of peace of mind. From the moment we met them, it was clear how much they genuinely care for animals. They were wonderful with our two dogs—patient, affectionate, and attentive to their routines. While we were out of the country, they kept us updated and made sure our pups felt safe and loved. We came home to dogs who were content, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We couldn’t ask for better sitters.”

“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime. We love that Pepper gets along so well with Ellie’s sweet dog Bear. Overall our dog had a great time and would absolutely book with Ellie in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Another awesome stay! It is so comforting to know that your furry family member (in our case, our dog) is in good hands and is going to be well cared for - and have a fun time. We highly recommend”

“This is the second time I’ve boarded my cat Curtis with Nathan and his family and I cannot recommend them enough! They are so thoughtful and always send me the cutest pictures. Thank you!”

“Jiani provided attentive care for my cat while we were away for a week. My cat, Todie, stayed with Jiani at her place, and Todie is usually very shy and nervous in new places. With frequent photo updates from Jiani, I was able to tell that Todie grew comfortable in her care rather quickly, and it relieved much stress on my end. Jiani was very flexible with picking up Todie and dropping her back off, too, which made planning easy for me! I will absolutely rebook with Jiani in the future!”

“Kristi and her family did a wonderful job taking care of our pup. We had lots of updates and pictures throughout his stay. They even went the extra mile to include him in a Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas stocking present. Such an amazing family, we are so thankful for you all!! Highly recommend and will be contact again!”

“Would highly recommend Brittney and Will if you’re looking for a Rover sitter! They were so loving and patient towards my anxious dog Phoenix and made good use of a sunny weekend by spending a lot of time outside with Phoenix on walks or sunbathing. They have lots of experience with reactive dogs and immediately made my dog comfortable at the initial meet and greet. Easy drop off/pick up and plenty of cute pictures and updates during the weekend. Thank you so much, Brittney and Will, for taking such great care of Phoenix! He’s already counting down the days until he can come stay with you again!”

“Maiko and her family were exceptionally loving to Daisy. She had such a wonderful stay full of adventures. She was extremely well cared for which was evident in the many photos sent to us. We appreciate all of the care shown to Daisy and highly recommend Maiko and her family!!”

“Devan was great! Checked in with us regularly to let us know how Blaze was doing and settling in. I could tell that Blaze was well cared for and had a great time with Devan and his partner! Will definitely use him again!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Lauren! She was an incredible sitter for Coti. She was quick to communicate, sent lots of pictures, & showered Coti with love & attention. Coti had a great time playing Lauren’s dog Kota. We would 100% book Lauren again.”

“These two are all about dogs and it shows! They also took a lot of great pictures and gave us daily updates on our dog's 12 day stay which was very much appreciated.”

“Jiani did a great job looking after our cats. I appreciated the daily updates, also really grateful that she cleaned up a few messes (someone, probably Ginger, threw up in the bed).”

“second time having meriam watch our kitties while out of town and will continue to rebook whenever we’re away. such thought and care, and the best photos (plus video!) of your babies.”

“Meagan took great care of our special needs kitty. She was communicative, informed, and sent cute pix of Baz while we were away. We've already booked her for a longer trip.”

About: Hello northeast Seattle! I'm happy to care for a skittish cat and I can pill and give subcutaneous injections. I'd love to meet you and your pet! I work from home so my schedule can be flexible but I'm usually wide open in the afternoons and early evenings. I can sometimes move things around as needed if you need morning or later care. I require a meeting ahead of time to know how to safely enter and to meet your pet- I would hate to spook them more in an already stressful situation.
“Lynn was super attentive and has worked toward forming a bond with our cat, who can be standoff-ish. She didn't miss a beat when our locking mailbox malfunctioned and brought her own tools to fix the lock. We appreciate Lynn's professionalism and sincere care.”

“Debs is really just the best cat caregiver ever! Our cats definitely *love* her (and we’re more like the “sitters” in between her visits.) She is so good with charming even our super skittish one, who now races out to meet her and throw himself at her feet, or slippers :D She is always utterly reliable, consistent and so loving with the cats. Couldn’t ask for anyone better!”

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life. Animals like me a lot. I am a reliable pet-sitter, dog walker and can supply references. I am available on weekends for stays at the pet's home or at my place. I don't have a full-time job, but have two part-time jobs, one of which is remote. I don't have a yard, but I am near a park where a lot of people walk their dogs. I really enjoy spending time with animals. On this site, the pictures of the dogs I have cared for don't show the dogs on leashes, but I am very conscientious about leash laws and poop scooping while in the neighborhood. I am also considerate of neighbors who ask that dogs not use their land for bathroom breaks.
“Amy is absolutely wonderful! Our pets and house were in very good hands. Amy made sure the kitties were active, and sent tons of great pictures. When we got home, the house was cleaner than when we left. We hope to hire Amy again for our future travels.”

“Julie is such a wonderful sitter! she really cares about your animals and goes the extra mile to make sure that you and your pet are both comfortable! I highly recommend her ^_^”

“Caleb was a fantastic cat sitter! He was reliable and communicative. He sent us daily updates with pictures and most importantly, Caleb gave us peace of mind knowing our cat was in good hands. We'll definitely be using Caleb again next time we need a sitter.”

“10/10 recommend!!! Allison sent constant updates on my 17 yr old kitty while I was on a long trip. She made me feel informed and relieved that my old guy was in such loving hands. Thank you so much Allison and I will reach out if I need your help again!!!”
“Andrea was fantastic with my elderly kitty, doing a meet and greet and carefully reviewing instructions for care and medication. She went above and beyond, and got my cranky kitty to feel comfortable with her quickly. Appreciate you, Andrea!”

About: Hi! My name is Jeanine. I work full‑time as a Fellowship Program Administrator, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. Though I’m new to Rover, I have close to a decade of experience pet sitting for friends and caring for my own cats. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 3‑month‑old black kitten I adopted last month. I see pets as family members and believe all animals are part of a vulnerable population that deserves just as much care and respect. My cats are my children! I’m a lover of all animals, and if I had the means to provide excellent care, I’d absolutely have an animal sanctuary. In late November 2025, I lost my 11‑year‑old cat to aggressive GI lymphoma. Caring for him through multiple health conditions gave me invaluable experience. He had asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, a throat tumor that blocked 90% of his airway (which was successfully removed), hip dysplasia (also a successful surgery), and a luxating patella that required an ankle brace. Going through all of this taught me how important it is to be in tune with your animals; recognizing signs of distress or pain, noticing small changes in behavior or routine, respecting boundaries, and staying aware of potential toxins or safety hazards in their environment. I also have experience with: - medication management (pills, liquid meds) - basic wound care (applying ointment, bandages) - shy, anxious, and reactive cats - kittens - dog walking - following routines (feeding schedules, walks, play, downtime) - comfort with senior pets and pets with chronic conditions - knowledge of cat behavior and body language - experience with multi‑pet households - providing frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured Whether they’re shy, silly, senior, or full of zoomies, I’m excited to care for them exactly how they need. And until I can open my dream animal sanctuary, I’m grateful for every pet I get to love and care for. I work full‑time, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. Since I’m home most of the week, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Depending on your needs, I’m flexible during weekdays. If I’m house sitting, I can provide playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t overlap with my meetings. If you’re booking dog‑walking only, I’m available early mornings, midday during my lunch break, and after 5pm. My availability is open and flexible on weekends, so I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pets need. Safety and comfort are huge for me. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want them to feel completely safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. I stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll always check in with you if anything needs to shift. In your home, I’m big on keeping things clean and cozy. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.

“Thank you, Isabella, for checking in on our two kitties while we were away for a few days. We really appreciated the regular communication, with pics., each morning. 🙂🐈🐈⬛”

“Wonderful experience! My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable during her time with Margot. Communication was great, and I really appreciated the care and attention. I've already booked again! Highly recommend!”

“We're so happy to have found Lorena! Our trusted sitter was unable to sit any longer and we scoured Rover to find Lorena. She is in tune with the pups, kind, thoughtful and has a very relaxed environment for the pups. Bear loved his visit and we're ecstatic to have found a loving environment for him.”

“Our pup came home so happy and tired after daycare with Darlayna. They went for lots of walks, swimming no, bike rides, all of the things! By just the second day of daycare our dog was running to her front door, ready to go play… a much better option than coming home to a bored dog. At the end of the day she was happy and safe which is the most important part, we will definitely be seeing Darlayna again. 😊”

“Our puppy had such a great time with Carmen at daycare! He made so many friends and got a full day of fun - I couldn’t have asked for more! It was such a great opportunity to socialize and”
“Brittney and Will were by far one of the best Rovers we’ve used to-date. Our 90-lb Sheppard-Pitbull Theo is a high energy and somewhat nervous dog and they were the perfect match for him. It’s always a stressor leaving our boy in care of somebody else but we were at ease leaving him with Brittney and Will. Brittney kept us updated on Theo very frequently which we loved and you can tell they have such a love for dogs. Thanks you two! Until next time! 😊”

“Yufang took such great care of Taco! Her home is well set up for dog care — safe, clean, and comfortable. Taco got plenty of playtime, attention, and belly rubs, and came home happy and relaxed. I really appreciated all the pics and video.”

“I brought TWO dogs to Chunli very last minute. I had my dog and my daughter's dog. Chunli was incredibly sweet to them. She took them on several long walks and my daughter's dog is a RELENTLESS player with balls and Chunli very patiently played with her for way longer than I would have! They each had different feeding instructions and different dog foods and she followed all the instructions to the letter. The dogs were picked up at the end of a long day happy and barely even noticing I was there. I would totally use Chunli again.”

“Rudy had a great time at Linda's house! He got lots of attention & love. I got lots of pictures and updates. Rudy was relaxed and happy when I picked him up. I highly recommend Linda.”

About: I am the first to say “pick me!” when a friend is in need for a pet-sitter. I feel very comfortable around animals and love to be in their company. We, I and my husband have a 2.5 years old Miniature American Shepard, Iris. We have grown her up since she was about 2 months old. We live in a house with fenced backyard so your dog will have a good space to run around during the day time. I am not working and stay at home mostly I can stay close to your dog so that they don't feel lonely during your absence, of course Iris is here for your dog too :). I can follow a specific schedule or your dog's needs like feeding time or walking time, or anything for making your dog feel as comfortable as possible. Drop-ins are always welcomed, but I don't drive so cannot come to pickup your pups sorry... My day starts with letting my dog go backyard then feed her. After having a coffee I usually walk around with Iris and do some shores. play with toys and fetch on the backyard a few times during the daytime and go for a walk again in the evening. Feed dinner and do the last short walk for potty around 10:30 pm before going bed. We have fenced yard so your dog can exercise during the day. And living in a peaceful residential neighborhood allows us to walk around with pups safely. I care your dog as I care my dog for sure. A lot of plays and walks, and hugs. I also have a lot of toys in the house and different style of beds so your dog will find something fit for them! if they want :)

During daycare, Nicole sent updates & pictures showing Rocco having a great time. Rocco was so excited to see Nicole on day 2 of daycare and that says everything as that's Rocco's stamp of approval. I highly recommend Nicole and will be booking again. Thank you!”

“Angela is great! She is on time, reliable, and patient with our teenage puppy. Our dog loves her—when we’ve run into Angela walking in the neighborhood, our pup was so excited and didn’t want to leave her!”

“Sheena really knows dogs and clearly loves them. My dog took to her tight away. She has been completely reliable and consistent. I come home to a relaxed, calm, contented dog.”

“Lynn is so professional, and so fantastic with my dog, Lily. So happy to have found her and I intend on using her services consistently for the foreseeable future!”

About: Hi! My name is Melani. I grew up with cats and dogs, so I swing both ways when it comes to furry friends. I love all dogs and breeds, big and small. I do have a special spot in my heart for rescue animals, as the loving owner of a rescue dog named Lola (she gives lots of love in return). My experience adopting, training, and caring for a rescue animal gives me insight into caring for your pet. I know the importance of keeping an eye on your pet's behavior and staying aware of triggers, so your pup can be safe and have fun. Safety is my #1 priority, and my #2 priority is fun. I love meeting other animals, and I'm excited to meet your pet!
“Margaret did wonderfully with my nervous dog Kona! She pays close attention to detail and followed the care and access instructions to a T. She is very good about reading dog body language and understanding when a pet may be too hot, or too tired and goes off of the signals sent by the dog. She is super sweet and detail oriented and even takes great pictures of the pets under her care! Would absolutely book again!”

“I was extremely pleased. Debs & Paul were perfect, professional & punctual. So many Ps! I needed someone last minute to walk my kidz: two rambunctious Rhodesian Ridgebacks. D&P are nearby so we scheduled a meet&greet. Charly, my girl, barked and Paul just stood straight and didn't look at her. He gave her a few cookies and D&P were totally unfazed by her! That moment showed me that D&P clearly understood dog behavior. My kidz came back from their first walk happy, tails a-waggin'. D&P sent photos of their walks and how the kidz responded to other dogs. I'm very happy with D&P and am planning on going one-step further and have them housesit.”

“Caralyn was great! She asked thoughtful questions about my pup during our meet and greet. She communicated before and after picking him up and taking him for a walk and sent pictures.”

“We are so grateful for Andrea! We hired her short-notice following some unexpected injuries and she was on-time, reliable, and absolutely wonderful with our dog. He would cry with excitement every time she came to pick him up. She was a great communicator throughout and flexible with our shifting needs. Would recommend her to anyone.”

“My snobby anti-stranger Basenji took to Darlayna in very short order. She really knows how dogs operate, and she totally gets my dog’s triggers and willful nature. I know my dog will get exercised and get plenty of houndly sniffs, and he will be SAFE.”

About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. Specific Skills: Reactivity, Anxiety/Fear, Strong Pullers, Stranger Danger, Training Basics I work remotely on East Coast hours — my schedule has plenty of flexibility! I'm happy to accomodate based on your pet's needs and schedule. I would love to use my years of dog and cat handling experience to take your dog out to stretch its legs, hang out with your kitty and make sure their physical and emotional needs are fulfilled.

About: I have recently been volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter, and am a foster parent to puppies, kittens and Adult dogs as needed if I can. I've been around all kinds of pets my whole life. I have worked at Dog Day 2 grooming and self wash in Everett, Burien Veterinary Hospital, and Mission Veterinary Clinic in Renton. I recently moved back to Burien and am looking to make some puppy friends, and a little income as well..I'm currently available as needed, and can provide your animal child/s with attention, walks, food, h20, play time, loves, and care as needed. A little about me, We recently had to say goodbye for now to our 16yr old Australian Shepherd, And it's been a sad time, but we know "Choco" is in a happy rainbow place. I look forward to meeting you, and your pets. Thanks for considering my help. Sincerely Julie
“Meagan is great! She was very approachable, has a calm and gentle demeanor and uses positive reinforcement on dogs that are skittish like mine. She does meet and greet a priori to get your pups better, which is also very reassuring and follows requests adequately. We were very happy with her services!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with two family dogs and several cats, and now I have a dog of my own. I currently work from home, so I’m available around the clock to give your pets the attention they need. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. I grew up with pets. I worked in a veterinary clinic assisting with surgery, bathing, feeding and grooming. I adopted a dog that was going to be euthanized because he was very aggressive. He only allowed me to feed him. After that I helped him become more friendly. I believe that animals can understand when I communicate with them. They feel my good energy and good vibes. At the moment I walk with my neighbor’s dogs almost every evening. Sometimes I take care of him on weekends when his mom is busy. I have plenty of time during the day for playing with your babies puppies. I could sitting your pets in my house in the future. Now I am available for take care of your puppy in your home at nights or during the day. I could give him a bath, petting, and nicely walks in the park or whatever places that you want.
“Samantha was wonderful with Jules! Understood Jules telling her she wasn’t going for a walk in the rain and hungout with her instead of forcing her to be an unhappy pup. Will certainly continue to book with her !”

“Michael was an amazing sitter for my dog and communicator for me!! We had a last minute schedule change and were traveling to Seattle unexpectedly. Michael was so helpful and accommodating to make this work with less notice than usual! He was prompt and communicative sending me pictures of Sox updates along the way. His dog Ellie was very chill and seemed to get along with Sox great. I definitely would (and will!) work with Michael again!”
