About: I’ve been taking care of animals (dogs and cats) since I was 7. In the last 10 years I have been a house sitter for people with dogs and cats. I have experience with multiple animals at once I work remotely and have the opportunity to care for animals while working! I also love going on walks and getting out of the house, and having an animal to care for gives me purpose. When caring for animals at my clients home, I focus on giving them love and attention. My job is to be their entertainment. I will discipline and train when needed— and as instructed by the client.
“Tyler was great with our dog! I appreciated her meeting us in advance to introduce her to our dog and her care information. I loved her daily check in updates with photos, Remi seemed to love her!”

“Myranda did an amazing job watching Sunny. We got updates on how he was doing and when we came home we could see how happy and relaxed he was. We know he was really well looked after. And Myranda did a great job keeping our house in order. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely book with her again next time we travel. Thank you Myranda!”

“Sabrina and Daniel were awesome - super easy to communicate with, flexible when I needed to make a schedule change, and they sent the best ever photos of my pup along with their newsy daily updates. 5+ stars!”

“Van did a great job watching our dog Nina and set our minds completely at ease. It was clear that Nina was very comfortable and well looked after by Van, and we enthusiastically recommend her!”

“Jeff was the best petsitter we have had - he stepped in right away when I was in a schedule pinch, he followed directions to a T, he kept in contact to let us know everyone was doing well, he shared how much he enjoyed the doggos, and when we arrived home the house was immaculate, smelled nice, and the dogs were relaxed and happy. I didn't get to meet him in person beforehand, and he is definitely someone you can trust if you have to do the same.”

“Allyson was great! We received updates and photos throughout her stay at our house. We came home to a clean house and happy dogs. We would happily hire her again! Thanks, Allyson!”

“This was my first experience with a rover pet sitting and Angelina knocked it out of the park in every way! She put me at ease before the booking by patiently receiving any anxiety I had and curating a plan for how to exercise Pippin within her high needs. She was an excellent communicator before during and after the booking. I appreciated that she took notes during our meet and greet because I trusted that she understood our conversation. During the booking, Angelina gave lots of updates complete with photos and activity tracking from her smart watch. I trust her with my high activity dog and would book again”

“Ian was really great! Cormac has always taken a minute to warm up to people, but I did not expect him to take several days. Ian was amazing and patient with Cormac, he really did not push and made sure to communicate with me and make sure he was doing best by Cormac. Honestly, my only expectation because of Cormacs shyness was that he kept Cormac fed and walked. But Ian still went above and beyond, my first walk with Cormac was probably one of the easiest post sitter walks that I have been on. Without having to be told it was obvious that Ian followed all of cormacs on leash protocol. Could not have been more happy.”

“Theresa was so calm and lovely with my two tiny, elderly Yorkies! She sent photos daily, left my place in ship shape, and was prompt in communication. I highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again! :)”

“Aaron took great care of Duncan while we traveled over the holiday, sending us daily updates with a happy pupper. Also left our home as clean as he found it. Hope to have him take care of Duncan again in the future.”

“Lily was wonderful. Communication was great and Lily was flexible with our last minute booking needs and tentative return plans. We can tell our sweet doggo was happy and had a fun time while we were away.”

“Yasmin was amazing! We had some last minute changes and she was so accommodating. Our senior dog was so happy and completely herself when we returned which hasn’t always been the case with dog sitters. We will definitely have Yasmin stay with Jozi again.”

“Quinnie house sat our energetic, 11 month old puppy Bear for a week over Thanksgiving and was fabulous! We felt very comfortable from the start, as she came prepared with lots of questions to ensure the smoothest transition for us leaving our puppy with someone else. She was very communicative throughout the week and was intentional about maintaining consistency in routine, training commands, etc. that we use with Bear. The excellent photo shoot photos of Bear each day were an added bonus! We’d highly recommend Quinnie.”

“Caleb loooked after our 7-month old Golden Retriver puppy and pet rabbit for 4 days and did a fantastic job! He spent tons of quality time with the animals (lots of walks and time playing outside for the puppy, and pets for the bunny) the house was spotless when we returned home. We would recommend Caleb and will certainly look to book him again when we have a need for a house sitter!”

“Sam was great with our dog Sukey. She was very professional and respectful of our space as we also had her house sit. We will definitely be working with her again and can not recommend her enough.”

Fremont pet parents share their Rover experiences
Olivia is amazing on every level! She is professional, knowledgeable and is an excellent communicator. She is extraordinarily caring with our dog Ellie, who has had a number of health issues and suffers from separation anxiety. Olivia has worked with Ellie after knee surgery, managing Ellie’s limitations and medications with great care. Now that Ellie has recovered, Olivia has worked with Ellie on her anxiety issues by inventing games and bringing puzzles to distract her. To top it off, Olivia is an excellent photographer! We always get lovely photos of Ellie’s time with Olivia. In other words, Olivia is a gem!
Emily took such great care of our quirky dog, Winston. He usually needs time to warm up once we leave but he quickly settled in, thanks to her patience and dog whispering skills. I appreciated her communication on the dog, the house and any updates or questions! We would definitely have Emily stay with Winston again!

Dale was such a great sitter for our little furry friends!! She was very thorough in asking questions about our pets and how to care for them as well as diligent and responsive. Kept us informed the whole time she was caring for our pets and that made us feel very comfortable just knowing they were in good hands. 10/10!!!

John is a reliable and an amazing house, dog and cat sitter. My husband and I were gone for 2 1/2 weeks. John would text with any questions, and sent pictures of the pets. Introduced himself to a few of my neighbors, which I encouraged, so Sounder could play with his dog buddies, and when we arrived home, everything was neat and tidy, just how we left it. A very nice and responsible, young man I would hire him again in the heartbeat!

Tyler did a great job with our girls, kept us up to date and sent pictures along the way. We returned to a tidy house and happy dogs. I appreciated that he was direct and communicated quickly when there was an incident with one of our dogs. He made sure she was ok and we were fully informed.

Marriah is simply incredible at caring for high-needs pets. This was my first experience using an app for an overnight in-home house-sitter for my 14yo yorkie. Our dog has a strict prescription diet for cushings disease and requires gentle, attentive and near constant care. Marriah was professional, cheerful, patient and supportive throughout the 8 days she stayed with our little old lady. I was amazed how Marriah hand fed our dog and got her comfortable and eating again even while she was moping and sad from being left behind. Marriah sent so many pictures and updates on how our girl was doing and I felt so safe leaving my smallest family member in her hands. She is worth every dollar and I would recommend Marriah to anyone looking for an experienced and compassionate caregiver for any kind of service from walks to overnight care. We will definitely ask for her again!

Jenna took amazing care of my dog while I was away for a few days and kept me posted with pictures and updates. She was super responsive when I reached out, and extremely considerate and thoughtful throughout the process. We will definitely be working with Jenna again!

Christiane helped us out last minute, and we lucked out with a great sitter for our pup! She communicated just the right amount. We like knowing how everything is going without a minute by minute breakdown. Ha ha We came back to a clean house and a happy pup! :)
