I’ve lived with or cared for other’s dogs and cats for about 19 years! I grew up with our family dog Brisco (a pit bull / German Shepard rescue), and plan to one day rescue a dog of my own. I love to travel and explore new places, so caring for dogs and cats of friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors has always made sense! I work fully remote from my laptop, so I can stay at home happily with your pets as long as there is good wifi. I've cared for many personality types, activity levels, and health needs over the years, all of which I can easily adapt to. From dogs who need multiple walks a day to couch potatoes; from animal-friendly to reactive on leash, from separation anxiety to total independence, and everything in between. I am active so I love walks and being outside. If your dog likes to run, we may lace up our shoes together ; ) I will always respect your preference of care for your pets, while being attune to changing behaviors and needs. Once, I was caring for my neighbor's beagle during a week-long sit, and I noticed something off. I contacted her parents and shared my concerns. They agreed to let me take her to the vet the next morning, and found out she had an infection in her mouth that required antibiotics. With permission from her parents, I got her the care she needed, and she was back to normal in a couple of days. I have cared for many rescues + mixes, labs, golden retrievers, huskies, pit bulls, doodles, Shiba Inus, terriers, beagles, greyhounds, dobermans, border collies, basset hounds, vizslas, and more. I love all dogs and kitties, big and small, and have the gift of connecting with animals and making them feel safe and loved.
