About: I grew up with a variety of dog breeds. Some had jobs, like guarding or hunting, while others were simple companions. We believe the dog's personality and inclinations determine a dog's role. I love all manner of dogs. I support zero discrimination against size, age, breed, need, or quirk. I love to adapt my technique to accommodate the specific needs of each dog in my care. I am mild-mannered and nurturing, naturally connected with dogs. I currently am unable to own (or board) a dog as my apartment building has restrictions. Therefore, I have a pretty open schedule. I desire quality time with a pup in need of the same. "It takes a village to raise a family," they say. I am available to be the extra member of support for the health & happiness of your loved one(s). I work from home with very flexible hours. I am happy to supplement my days with some quality play or walk time with your pups while giving you relief, thus allowing you to tend to other matters when needed. In addition, I can build routines around your needs. I can work with your dog in the environment you provide, be it your home, the local dog park, or simple laps around the block. But, ultimately, It is of the utmost importance that trust is established and maintained throughout our working relationship. I understand how challenging it can be to find someone with whom you wholeheartedly trust with the care of your pup, and I intend to be that person.

I love sending photo and video updates so you can see your pet is happy and having fun, and I always respond quickly to messages. I take it personally when a pet has a great stay with me. I'm available for boarding pretty much anytime, any day of the week, since I'm home all day. That means your pet gets consistent attention, regular breaks, and company throughout the day instead of long stretches alone. I'm also an avid walker, so daily walks are a given, not an afterthought. I live alone in an apartment, so your pet gets a calm, quiet space without other pets or a lot of foot traffic to compete with for attention. My building has a shared outdoor dog area right on site, so potty breaks and outdoor time are easy and frequent throughout the day, not something that requires a big production to arrange.

“Ian was really great! Cormac has always taken a minute to warm up to people, but I did not expect him to take several days. Ian was amazing and patient with Cormac, he really did not push and made sure to communicate with me and make sure he was doing best by Cormac. Honestly, my only expectation because of Cormacs shyness was that he kept Cormac fed and walked. But Ian still went above and beyond, my first walk with Cormac was probably one of the easiest post sitter walks that I have been on. Without having to be told it was obvious that Ian followed all of cormacs on leash protocol. Could not have been more happy.”

She was able to come over the day I left and got along just great with my dog Bandit.🙂 I received daily pictures of Bandit out and about and was able to communicate that a Chewy shipment had arrived. Emily was able to go get it and provide new treats to Bandit. Emily is very friendly, easy to talk and text with, and was able to give me any updates I requested. She was even able to work with another Rover pet sitter to switch off for a second week, coordinating key hand-off. About: I grew up with a Maltese-Shih Tzu mix, so I’ve had experience caring for dogs from a young age. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping up with your dog’s usual routine. While most of my experience has been with smaller dogs, I’m also comfortable caring for friendly medium and larger dogs and would love having a walking buddy! My schedule is pretty flexible, and I’m completely free on Mondays! I can easily stop by for check-ins, feeding, walks, and some quality time with your pet. I’m also happy to have pets stay with me, including overnight, if you prefer a more home-away-from-home experience. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a designated pet relief area, and my neighborhood is very walkable with plenty of options for walks and outdoor time. I’ll always follow each owner’s instructions and their pet’s usual routine closely, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home.
