About: I grew up with all types of dogs and quickly learned that they all had their own unique personalities and quirks. It doesn't take long for dogs to warm up to me, they can tell that I am a dog person at heart. I do not own a dog anymore and enjoy spending time with all types of dogs. Sometimes dogs do take time to settle in, so it's best to start out with a walk before taking them inside. I have access to a large enclosed rooftop patio to play or to get some sun. I have a lot of dog toys, but feel free to bring your own. I can also train doggos to do a few basic tricks, but I am not a professional. I go running and can take your doggo on a run if they can keep up. lol There are a lot of activities to do in my neighborhood, but when inside dogs love looking out my windows to watch all the people/dogs walk by. I will go outside w them every couple hours. Im also taking the rest of the year off from a normal job so I am home most of the time. I never leave a dog unattended for more than a couple hours. I have decades of experience and I have great reviews. I try to respond to all requests immediately. I have a large extended family and they all leave their dogs with me. Thank you!! I'm up at 7 everyday, going for long walks every morning. I have a comfy "dog couch" that they are always welcome to use. I am home most of the day so your dog will not be left alone. If I have another dog scheduled during the time you requested, you will be informed so you can make the best decision for your four legged friend beforehand to ensure a safe environment for us all. I usually will take another walk at 10pm and then go to sleep. Repeat the next day... I take safety seriously. Sometimes it's best to do a meet and greet, but not always. I'm available to come to your place or I can watch your pet at my place. I do spend a lot of time on my enclosed rooftop, most dogs really enjoy this aspect of my place. I live near Gas Works and like to go there often. I take great care in the safety of all the pets I'm responsible for and I gain their trust quickly. I try to immediately respond to any inquiries unless it's late at night. In August I will generally not be boarding, I'll only be able to do doggy day care. If you don't need boarding or day care you can also request a dog walk, or a check in. My rates are relatively low for these services. If you refer someone to me you can get discounts on all of my services!!

I care for my animals like they are my own family. I don't believe kibble and bits is a sustainable long-term way to keep your fur baby alive and healthy for years to come, so I cook fresh dog and catfood that can be added to their kibble or served stand alone. They love it and it's a quick way to get them comfortable and trusting of a new environment especially if they have separation anxiety. I establish myself as the big mama pack leader lol and they listen. I've had dogs that have had aggression towards other dogs come and board with me and make new paw pals. Dogs need to know that you are someone that can lead with love and that method has always had me have success with my furry friends. For cats, I know that they come from a long history and memory in their genes of being chased, disrespected, and even tortured in some places in the world so they need a lot of respect as far as space and allowing them to warm up. Every animal is different, but for cats specifically, I make sure to let them come to me when they're ready and give them their cozy permission to be free. Indipendence is key with felines for sure! My daughter is phenomenal at loving on these fur babies! Some have become her best friend very quickly, while others prefer the mama of the pack XD, either way we have a lot of fun.

“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime. We love that Pepper gets along so well with Ellie’s sweet dog Bear. Overall our dog had a great time and would absolutely book with Ellie in the future. Highly recommend!”

His dog, Tito, was so sweet to my dog, who is typically shy with new dogs, and helped her feel right at home!
