“Ana was super friendly and easy to communicate with. From all the pictures she sent,’it looks like my dog Oscar had a great time. Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be back”

“Ponyo did a great job helping my pup feel comfortable with a pet sitter for the first time! Thanks for the regular updates so I knew he was doing well and in good hands!”

“Devan was great! Checked in with us regularly to let us know how Blaze was doing and settling in. I could tell that Blaze was well cared for and had a great time with Devan and his partner! Will definitely use him again!”

“Joey had the most wonderful stay with Debra! She was so kind and sweet, and understood Joey’s needs as a senior citizen pup. As he’s an old pup his legs are a bit weak; Debra went the extra mile to set up a carpet path and extra bedding to make sure he was comfortable and could walk around. She sent consistent updates and lots of photos. Truly made Joey feel welcome and was the best experience we could have ever had!”

“I scheduled a trial run for my dog before we take a long international trip and feel at ease with Danielle and Joy. My senior dog can be a handful but they seem to have a lot of experience with various ages and temperaments.”

“Catherine was excellent! She was very prepared and comfortable working with our dog. She sent plenty of photos and videos and took our dog on long walks to exercise him. We felt very assured and would definitely book with her again. Thanks, Catherine!”

“Jerica is great! We found her on Rover 3 weeks before our 8-day trip when our regular dog sitter would not be available. I was nervous leaving Archie with a new sitter at first, but she took great care of Archie. Jerica works from home. She has a yard and an adorable corgi so our beagle had someone to play with. Jerica took Archie on walks with her corgi and let Archie snuggle with her at night. It worked out great. She kept us updated every day and sent us lots of photos. We would definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Anna was great! She was really communicative and so accommodating, especially on short notice. Dakota warmed up to her quickly and also got along really well with her dog, Cooper. I felt completely comfortable leaving Dakota with her and would definitely book with Anna again.”

“Regina was amazing!!! She kept me informed with photos and even let me extend my dogs stay an extra five hours! She was very caring for Cooper. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Jennifer and Ken are the best!!! We got lots of photo updates throughout Waffles' stay of all the adventures he went on and all the cuddles. We could tell he was having the best time! Highly recommend!!”

“So grateful to Megan for her amazing communication, accommodating my needs with drop off/pick up and of course, best of all, the amazing love and care that Gemma received!”

“Kya loved her second stay with Michael & Adam. They take such good care of her, even when she is a little uncomfortable being away from home. We’ll definitely plan on reaching out again next time Kya needs a place to stay for the weekend.”

“Liam seemed very happy during and after his stay with Maria. I appreciate that Maria was an excellent and timely communicator, sent frequent updates with pictures and videos, and was very attentive to Liam. I look forward to having Liam return to stay with Maria again! Thank you!”
“Randsell was super communicative and was very caring! I could tell our cat was very reluctant in parting ways with her when I went to pick him up. I'm very grateful she was available last minute for our trip to cat sit.”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kevin and his partner, Kandice. Our French Bulldog, Bobo, is our child, and this was the first time we had left him since he suffered an IVDD flare earlier this year. Needless to say, we were incredibly nervous. Because of his recent health issues, he has a number of restrictions and special considerations to help prevent another IVDD flare, and Kevin and Kandice were so attentive and conscientious about following all of his care instructions. They immediately put us at ease and kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Most importantly, it was obvious that Bobo wasn’t just being watched—he was genuinely cared for and loved. When we picked him up, he was happy, comfortable, and clearly had been very well cared for. As pet parents, that’s all you can hope for when leaving your dog with someone else. Kevin and Kandice are trustworthy, compassionate, and truly exceptional. We are so grateful for the care they provided and will absolutely be using them again. In fact, if they’ll have us, we’d love for them to be our permanent dog sitters. Thank you both for taking such amazing care of our boy. We couldn’t recommend you more highly. ❤️🐾”

“Jessica was an amazing dogsitter for our pup who stayed with her for a full week. Jessica communicated with us often while our dog was with her and cared for him as if he was her own dog. It's clear she has a love for dogs and a lot of experience caring for them. Jessica's care gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were on vacation. I would fully recommend Jessica without any reservations. ★★★★★”

“I trust that my dog had a great time at Ruslana’s! Ruslana has been open and transparent from the beginning about how the care will be given, and has been sharing pictures throughout the stay. She added dog park visits during the stay. She and her husband are genuinely caring and loving for dogs, that can be witnessed from the pictures and words shared! Would come back again!”

“Erica was fantastic! She took great care of Georgia. She had so much fun, and was looking for them when she came home. I would absolutely recommend Erica for your pet sitting and daycare needs.”

“Maryia did an incredible job taking care of my two cats with daily visits. She kept me up to date with beautiful daily pictures and an informative report of the care she was providing. She was unbelievably responsive. I came back home to two very happy cats.”

“Dana was so good with my kitties! Pistachio is a shy, nervous cat and doesn't usually get comfortable around people easily - and she was so comfortable around Dana that she got on her lap on the second day of sitting! She also was very communicative and sent me photos as I had requested. When I got home, it was clear that both the kitties and my apartment had been well cared for. 10/10 would book again!”

“Xuan did an amazing job taking care of my cat Millie! She was communicative and attentive to Millie’s needs, gave regular updates showing her in good spirits, and returned her as healthy and happy as she was when I dropped her off. Couldn’t ask for more! I highly recommend Xuan if you ever need to board your cat somewhere where they’ll be safe and well cared-for.”

“Katie was incredibly responsive, helpful and easy to work with. She documented the check in with a lot of photos which gave me a peace of mind as I’m on a trip away from my cat. Highly recommended and will rehire in the future!”

About: I have a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone reliable caring for your pet while you’re away. I’ve also cat sat for friends and family, including feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and sending photo updates. I love getting to know each cat’s personality and making them feel comfortable and cared for.

“Eleanor did a great job looking after my two kittens over the Christmas holiday and was very communicative. I came home to two happy and healthy little boys.”

“Jaime did a great job looking after our cat while we were away. Was very accommodating around the security/entry policies at our downtown Seattle condo. Lots of great pictures of the cat, at least when he wasn't hiding. :-) We had good peace of mind while traveling--would definitely recommend Jaime!”

She took meticulous care of my two cats (went above and beyond and fixed their broken water fountain while I was out, kept the cats' mess as tidy as possible), sent me AMAZING pictures, and was a great communicator. I felt absolutely worry-free as she took care of my cats, and I would absolutely recommend her!!”

“Julia was so wonderful with Ginger. I know from Ginger’s face in the pictures that Julia sent that she was content and felt safe. It was Ginger’s first time with a sitter and I couldn’t have found or asked for better - Julia was wonderful. Would recommend her highly if you are searching-and you need look no farther & Julia will be the person I will contact the next time I need someone to look after Ginger😻”

“Sarah was personable, kind, and communicative. We are so glad we chose her to look after our cat while we were away for 5 days. Prior to booking with Sarah we had never had anyone pet sit and we were initially nervous to have someone come into out home while we were away but our initial meeting with Sarah put us at ease and when we came home”

“Fantastic as always! Julia is a top of the line sitter, I’m so thrilled with the way she cares for our cat. She’s super kind, attentive, in-tune, and provides updates that give me peace of mind. Couldn’t find better!”

“Kevin has been FANTASTIC throughout his check-ins with Grey. Lots of photos to see how she's doing and clearly giving her amazing attention. Couldn't recommend him more.”

“Heather is clearly an animal lover and was wonderful with our cats while we were away. She is super friendly, attentive and communicative and left our house clean for our return. We will definitely work with her again!”

About: I’ve owned 3 dogs in my adult life and love them all like my children, friends always call me to babysit. Weekly baths, treats, and definitely adventures! I’m currently working remote part time with flexible hours so I have a lot of free time for pup play! I travel all over the city to explore the parks with my Dalmatian so I will definitely be doing the same with other pups! I have one male Dalmatian (loves friends) and our apartment is pup proofed for safety! We do let pup on the furniture but no playtime on the furniture, only lay. We stick to feeding schedules, twice daily. I currently work from home so I have all the time to play with the puppies! And if I’m not watching multiple we will definitely be going to the park! I’ve proofed my apartment for safety and I’m a minimalist so I don’t keep anything laying around that they could get to! All dog food is away as well.

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’m far from new to caring for dogs. I’ve spent years looking after my own pup and pet sitting for friends and family, all out of a genuine love for animals. For me, this isn’t a side hustle; it’s something I truly enjoy. I have a Shih Tzu of my own named Cooper, who is my whole world. When it comes to walks, I’m a firm believer in dog-centered outings. Want to sprint? Let’s go. Need five minutes to thoroughly investigate that one bush? Take your time. We move at your dog’s pace, in your dog’s direction, because that’s what makes a walk genuinely enriching, not just exercise. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and cuddles. I’ll treat them exactly like I treat Cooper, like family. You can expect regular photo updates if I’m watching your pup, I know firsthand how hard it is to be away from your baby and how it can put a damper on your trip thinking about them missing you. I work from home full-time, which means your pet gets attention throughout the entire day, not just before and after a 9-to-5. No long stretches alone, no waiting until evening for a walk. I’m based in Lower Queen Anne and live in a cozy apartment with my boyfriend and our Shih Tzu Cooper. No children, no yard, but don’t let that last part worry you. Cooper and I do at least one 2.5-mile walk every day, and if I’m watching your dog, they can expect the same. Queen Anne has wonderful walkable streets and green spaces, so there’s plenty to explore.

“Ponyo is an amazing dog sitter. She sent me numerous pictures and updates throughout the day. There was no doubt our dogs were being well cared for by her family.”

“Ana was very understanding and flexible with my schedule, sent lots of happy updates and fun pictures of my very shy guy, Xavi, looking happy and comfortable. Ana and her family did a wonderful job with my dog who is very nervous with new people. It was a huge relief to see him doing so well. I definitely plan to have her watch Xavi again!”

“Elliana was such a great dog sitter! She was really flexible on pick up and drop off and sent a lot of great pictures. Maple also got multiple walks throughout the day which is awesome, she had a great time!!”

About: I grew up with pets, from large to small. My sibling and friends always rely on me fostering their dogs and cats. I work from home and won’t leave your pets alone. My husband and I work full time from home, so your pets will always be attended to. They will pretty much hang out with us while we go about our day. My husband starts walking all of the dogs at around 8am. I will open my fenced yard at midday for a midday pee break. My husband will come back at around 6:30pm to give all of the dogs another walk. We usually feed the dogs their morning and evening meals after they come back from their walks. We will open the yard again before bed for a late night pee break.
“Mariia took amazing care of Frankie, and on short notice too! She took Frankie on a long walk in the afternoon and showed me lots of cute pictures where Frankie looks very happy. She left very detailed notes on Frankie’s stay, which I enjoyed reading. I wouldn’t hesitate to book care with Mariia again!”

“My dog is super happy with Catherine. She is really attentive to the specific needs of my dog. She’s also nice and professional. She kept me updated throughout the day.”

“Pablo and Patricia were amazing! They were able to watch Bear on very short notice, were super kind and communicative, and took great care of him. I really appreciate them helping out last minute. Thank you both!”

“As a new puppy owner, I was the stereotypical overprotective Dad when it came to looking for a Rover. As soon as I met Yoly, I was immediately put at ease and knew he was in great hands. Yoly constantly gave updates with clear instructions. Will absolutely be booking again!”

“Andy was great! He met us beaucoup early in the AM on a weekend to come and pick our puppy up from a hotel where we were catching a tour bus. He then sent copious videos for our perusal throughout the day, so we could see our puppers having as much fun as we were having on tour. Andy was very accommodating and communicative about both pickup and drop-off times too — highly recommend!”

About: I got my first pup when I turned 11 and have cared for them ever since, going on 14 years of owning a pet. Both dogs and cats! I enjoy interacting with pets and making them feel special on walkies or just hanging out with them. I currently run a small business so I am able to set my own hours and attend to other things such as walking or caring for your pet. I have a fenced in yard and three fur children in my household. Two dogs and a cat. I can also crate if needed for your pet.

“Ozzy and I really like Zhongni! She is very thoughtful, caring and really paid a lot of attention to his needs. I highly recommend her as a sitter and will use her again for boarding!”

“Andrea was awesome! We wanted to go to the space needle during our vacation and needed someone for a few hours. Our dog can have separation anxiety and she did such a great job with her! Highly recommend!!”

She sent the most thoughtful pictures while I was at work and was so communicative. We'll absolutely be booking with her again- thank you so much Ana!”

“Deven was amazing! My dog with a bit of a stranger danger complex bonded to him right away. He was super responsive and genuinely interested in getting to know my dog to better walk with her. Highly recommend.”

About: I've taken care of my family's dogs since I was 10, as well as the many different dogs (and puppies) we fostered over the years. I've also had some experience caring for my family's two cats (including one very talkative Bengal) for 5ish years. Some of my close friends and neighbors have also entrusted me with caring for their furry friends, including feeding, walking, and generally caring for and about them. I'm a part-time worker and student with a variable but fairly flexible schedule! I’d love to spend time with your furry friends—whether it’s walks, playtime, or house sitting. I'm happy to give your pet the love and attention they deserve! I tailor my care to each pet’s needs and your preferences. For pet sitting in your home, I: - Usually follow your pet’s routine for feeding, walks, and playtime to keep them comfortable and happy. - I'm happy to provide updates, photos, or messages so you can stay in the loop. - Ensure a safe, calm, and stress-free environment—whether it’s a quick visit or an overnight stay.
“Heather did an excellent dog with our nervous, reactive dog. She knew just how to handle him as soon as she met him, and I could see her building trust with him. She gave us some great tips on how to help improve his behavior. She was friendly, professional, and responsive, and I look forward to working with her again. I know our little guy is in good hands!”

“Shaina went above and beyond on her walk with Maxi. She took him to a nearby park and he looks like he had so much fun!! Very thankful also for her accommodation to my last minute bookings :)”

About: Hi, I'm KJ! My friends and family will tell you I am a certified Dog Mom 4 Life. I have lived in Seattle for 3 years now, and my favorite thing to do is walk my dog, Odie. We wander all around the city and to every park we can find. He is a 2-year-old rescue chiweenie who loves to spend time with other dogs. I've learned a lot about dog behavior and training from the dogs I've rescued. I've had a labradoodle, a Brussels Griffon mix, some shih tzus, a terrier mix, and now my chiweenie. I have experience with dogs of all ages (I have a special place in my heart for lil' senior pups). I've worked with reactive dogs who struggle to walk on a leash, which has taught me a lot of patience and improved my training skills. I know what it is like to need a helping hand, especially with fur babies. I would love to work with a variety of clients. Whether you need a consistent mid-day walker so you don't have to worry about long work days, or someone to check in on your fur baby when unexpected burdens arise, I am your gal! I do prefer working with dogs on the smaller side, for their safety and comfort. Any questions? Feel free to ask! :) I have a fairly open, flexible schedule. I'm more than happy to schedule day-of drop-ins, but I am currently taking public transit to get around, so please keep that in mind. I would love to schedule some consistent clients to provide a good mid-day walk to give your pup a break. Hopefully Odie can join us! Odie and I live in a studio apartment inside a building, so even if he bolts out the door, he can't get very far. I also keep up a baby gate to provide an extra barrier between him and the door. I have cameras to monitor the dogs if I do have to leave for a bit. They typically have free range of the studio area during the day. I keep the bathroom door closed, and I've "baby-proofed" the entire room for my small dogs. I feel comfortable crating or fencing in dogs if necessary.

“I wasn't able to go through with the boarding due to last minute change of plans and Ponyo was great with refunding what I had paid and making follow up calls to ensure that I had everything covered. Even before the boarding dates, Ponyo did a few introduction meetings with my dog to learn his behaviors and what kind of care would be right for him. I could tell that Ponyo was very experienced with dogs and had a great attention for detail when working with dogs”

Whether you need a consistent weekly schedule or occasional help, I’m happy to work with you to find the right fit. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I always follow your instructions closely; whether it's feeding schedules, medication, or favorite walking routes and make sure your pet feels safe, calm, and cared for while you're away. I’m attentive to body language and behavior, and I give pets plenty of space and comfort when they need it. I’ll also keep you updated with regular checkins and photos so you always know how your fur baby is doing. “Melissa took great care of Ricky, who can be a challenge to walk. She thought ahead to bring extra potty bags, was right on time, and walked him extra long. Thanks!”

About: I have been around animals since I was in diapers, and pet sitting since I can remember. First for family, then for friends. I have experiences with large dogs (my aunt has two mastiffs), smaller dogs, cats of all shapes and sizes, and even the occasional reptile. I enjoy the playtime and companionship just as much as my furry friends. I am working full-time, transitioning to a lighter work load in the next few months. That being said, I usually have flexibility during the day for a mid-day walk and I always have time in the early morning and early evening. I also spend a lot of time in the city so I can usually be booked during weekends as well. I do not have any pets so I have a perfect home to give your pet undivided attention. No yard but I live a block from Central Park so lots of fun awaits us just around the corner.
About: I have been around animals my entire life and truly love being in their presence. I've had dogs over the years but currently have two cats (Jeff and Aunt B) who mean the world to me! My profession allows me to, for the most part, set my own hours so my schedule is quite flexible. I am usually out and about and can take last minute appointments most of the time. I am able to care for your pet however you need in your home. This includes crating, walking, playing, feeding and making sure everything is secure in your home.

“Sean was timely, responsive, and great with our pups! They took a liking to him right away, and clearly had a great time on their walk. We will definitely be contacting Sean for more walks in the near future!”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time!
