“Laila took AMAZING care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. Our dog had some digestive issues a few hours after we left him with Laila and we were extremely worried. Laila took him to the emergency vet and everything ended up being okay. She kept us very well-updated with photos and videos as well as calling us to talk to the emergency vet. I’m so grateful that our dog was in such good hands. We would absolutely book with Laila again and highly recommend her to anyone out there who is looking for a sitter. About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.
About: Hello! I have been dog and cat sitting for at least 20 years and have several active clients in Seattle currently. I have previously worked for a dog walking and sitting business in Maryland. I have cared for puppies from 6 months through to senior, special needs pups. While no one enjoys it, I am comfortable giving pills, injections, and other medications to both cats and dogs. In my dog walking business I have walked up to four pups at the same time. I love to go on long walks, even in the rain and wind, and can throw a ball for hours! I will take care of your home and your pup with the utmost respect and love. I am a home owner with two kitties and a toddler. We are working on getting them all comfortable with dogs but for the time being we can only subject them to guests for 4 days in a row max (or they may never forgive us). While I haven't found the perfect pup for my life yet, I am very excited to be able to share my house with dogs of all ages for short stints while I'm searching. I work from home and can let pups out to go to the bathroom as needed. I love a lunch walk to get me ready for the afternoon. I have a fenced yard and a patch of grass for regular bathroom breaks. The staircase is gated so we’re always within eyeshot of any canine visitors.

About: We’ve had dogs as small as a Maltese to as large as a Rottweiler. We’ve had dogs from puppies and have rescued dogs. I also used to volunteer at the local dog shelter as a dog walker. We recently said goodbye to our family dog of 10 years. We love being around pets, but are not ready to have our own yet. We have watched many of our friends dogs and treat them as our own! One of us is home with 2 children every day of the week. If we are pet sitting, we mostly hang around home. We would fit in walks and outside time. Our pets would roam openly in our home and hang out wherever we were. We offer lots of play, pets and walks. With our fenced yard, they could easily run out for a quick potty break as well.

“Mahlan was a great sitter for my dog, Raya. Consistently sent photos and videos of her, and also keeping me updated with her daily activities. Raya can be a little challenging at times, but I definitely felt comfortable that Mahlan would be able to handle her. She also looked like she had a blast with Nunu, especially since we were able to set up a meet and greet beforehand. Would book again in the future👍🏽”

From very beginning, she listened to all the routines that my cat needs and takes very detailed notes. She is very quick in responding to messaging and communication. She sends me updated photos and videos of my cat everyday and make sure I have the peaceful mind, they also helped packing all his belongings when I am picking him up , they are very considerate and sweet couple. I am usually very nervous to leave our Lucy with a new sitter because she can be a bit of an escape artist, but Joe put us at ease immediately and was sure to keep a close eye on her! Joe communicated with us daily, providing updates and was very flexible. Joe really cared for our pup, and it was clear she enjoyed staying with him. “We gotta say, we’ve had rover sitters before (some good, some not so good) but Gregg by far has exceeded all of our expectations. We asked him beforehand if he was okay with one of our reactive and pulley dogs, and he said he was. We set up a meet and greet before booking and both our dogs took to Gregg immediately. He just had such a kind, warm demeanor to him, and although we had other meet and greets scheduled throughout the week, no one even came close to Gregg. The booking itself was exactly what we thought it would be — amazing. Gregg was very communicative, with constant updates/photos/videos throughout the day, was very attentive towards both of our dogs needs, kept them engaged throughout their stay, followed all instructions on feeding/walking times, and even kept a close eye on one of our dogs paw chewing. When we came to pick them up, it was very clear they had a blast with Gregg, and even bonded with him as well!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and because of that, we are just so grateful to have found him!!! He is going to be our go-to sitter going forward, and we know our dogs can’t wait for their next adventure with Gregg!!!”
