About: I'm fairly intuitive when it comes to understanding pets and their idiosyncrasies. I care deeply and loved on my pup from the time she was a pup until her passing. She has gone above & beyond including this last time when I sent a late night message to her to see if she could quickly go over to our house to rescue our new baby corn snake that the cats had broken in to the room it was kept in and broken the screen top of the habitat bout and the snake had found its way downstairs & the cats were trying to play with. ( I’d unexpectedly gotten a lot of motion notices and when I checked I saw the snake on our camera with the two cats circling it!) Anais rushed over found the snake 🐍 hiding from the cats and returned it to its home, secured the snake in its habitat and made sure the cats couldn’t get back in the room and let the snake out again.”

About: I grew up with golden retrievers, and fully trained my first puppies, all on my own, at age 8 and age 14! Since then, I've not only rescued and cared for street dogs but but dog-sat breeds big and small, from daytime visits to multiple week stays, and volunteer regularly at a rehab home for fearful and reactive dogs. I'm a teacher with experience in early childhood education, so my patience, compassion, and discipline skills are well-tested! About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I have cared for puppies from 6 months through to senior, special needs pups. While no one enjoys it, I am comfortable giving pills, injections, and other medications to both cats and dogs. In my dog walking business I have walked up to four pups at the same time. I love to go on long walks, even in the rain and wind, and can throw a ball for hours! “When I realized as I arrived that the girls trip was at an apartment and not a home, Carlos and Kelly legitimately saved the day. I was worried about my pup being overwhelmed with the noises of everyday life in a building while we were away on outings. With literally no notice we were able to set up a meet and greet and instead of changing the entire trip, or me being overwhelmed worrying, my dog had a blast with them at day care for the entire week. About: I tend to bond well with doggos and am happy to walk, feed, cuddle, give belly rubs, and play tug-of-war and fetch with your dog(s). I also have experience caring for senior doggies who need medications and extra care and attention. I'm available for daily dog-walking, drop-in visits, and pet-sitting. I have a roommate who loves and can care for my cat so I am able to stay in your home and keep your pet company while you're away. I'm able to stop in for a time to feed and care for or walk your pet, or I can stay at your home if your pet needs more company and support. I have continued to care for cats and dogs over the years for family, friends, and Rover clients, winning over even the shyest of pets. I will treat your pet like family! I have experience with senior cats and dogs, as well as reactive dogs. I am comfortable administering oral medication. I plan to spend as much time as I possibly can with your beloved fur baby. I work part time per diem currently so I may be out of the house for a few hours occasionally, but this would be discussed prior to any stay. I will spend the majority of the time during with your pet. I will follow all safety and care instructions a client may have for their home. I can easily adjust to any requirements a pet owner may have to ensure the safety of their beloved pet and their home.
About: I’ve been training dogs since age 8 and love getting to know challenging, reactive dogs and figure out what makes them tick. I’m happy to complete other household chores as needed and will make sure you return home to a clean, happy pet! I can safely supervise dog park/social time or keep your dog completely separate from others, even on walks. Whatever you’re comfortable with! I’m currently available full time for pet sitting and will spend several hours with your pet each day. I am extremely consistent and will adhere to your normal schedule and routine! I’m currently only providing services in clients’ homes. That allows your pets to stay comfortable and relaxed in their normal environment. About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals—dogs, chickens, roosters, bunnies, and even bees! Being around animals from such a young age taught me how to care for them responsibly and confidently. I learned how to walk large dogs early on and picked up basic training techniques along the way. I love taking dogs on walks, but I’m also available for house sitting and can administer around-the-clock medications if needed. I have experience with both young and senior pets, and I’m very comfortable with high-energy breeds. I grew up with a boxer for most of my life, so a dog that pulls on the leash is nothing new to me! I truly love all animals and am happy to help however I can. Just let me know what you and your pet need, and I’ll be honest about my experience and make sure they get the best care possible. I currently work from home and most of my hours are asynchronous, so pet care fits pretty easily into my schedule and I am very flexible with hours! Unless I am already booked at that time, I am most likely available. I first want to make sure that I create a safe place for the pet. So for example, I am very comfortable with and prefer using leashes. I am always keeping a trained eye out for unleashed dogs on walks, regardless of whether your dog is friendly or not. As for cats, especially indoor, I want to make sure that they get the care they need, so that means taking care that the door is closed while I am inside performing a feeding so that no accidents occur. As far as the home goes, I like to leave a place better than I found it if possible, and I will ask necessary questions to make sure I know exactly how best to work with your animal in a safe and efficient manner.
