Availability
I am currently working a part-time WFH and usually at home on the weekends. My partner is full WFH, so we operate as a team to make sure the dogs have as much supervision as possible. I will always check with owners if we need to leave their pets unsupervised for a short time and I have my own crate and plenty of other assorted dog equipment.

Our large six bedroom house is already puppy and older dog friendly, as we used to often care for foster dogs from different backgrounds. We have Othello park about 5 min away from our home.

Information Carlos G. would like to know about your pet
I am very flexible, but please let me know if your dog eats plants (I have a few in my home that I would need to elevate -- none poisonous of course!). Otherwise, I love working with dogs who are shy or nervous and need a little help socializing with other dogs and/or humans.
A typical day
The area I am in is very walkable, and I like to rollerblade with our dog and our foster dogs if that is something you'd be comfortable with your dog (no pressure). I often go to the beach and hiking. I would obviously inform you of anything like this ahead of time, but it would be a great chance for your dog to play outside.

Pet care experience
Hi there, my name is Carlos and and I have roughly 16 years experience working with dogs. I’m passionate about dog psychology, as well as training, and are constantly self-learning the best practices and training methods. I started training dogs when I was fifteen, and specialized in working with nervous or anti-social dogs that just needed a little help in adjusting their behaviors (exercise and structured play are the best things for most dogs, so if you leave your energetic dog with me, rest assured they will come back tired!) My favorite activity to share with dogs is rollerblading, and it is especially great for work breeds, who love to have a job to do! I have also been a volunteer for dog rescue organizations in Seattle since 2020, mostly with Saving Great Animals. Since the pandemic started, I have fostered 3 dogs from rescue circumstances and helped turn them around into the loving and happy family members. Often, these dogs had never had human affection (or even a bed or full meal) before.
Reviews

When I realized as I arrived that the girls trip was at an apartment and not a home, Carlos and Kelly legitimately saved the day. I was worried about my pup being overwhelmed with the noises of everyday life in a building while we were away on outings. With literally no notice we were able to set up a meet and greet and instead of changing the entire trip, or me being overwhelmed worrying, my dog had a blast with them at day care for the entire week. It felt like leaving him with friends, he was so regulated and relaxed in their home. He walked in like he had been there a million times and was a worn out baby at pickup. I was so well informed and got some awesome pictures that I will be saving. On top of that, Carlos worked with Jasper and experimented with different training to help me with his energy and excitement, an added value well above what I invested in Jaspers care for the week. I will be booking with this lovely pair every visit into the city going forward and they are very appreciated.

Communicative, responsive, attentive, and patient. Couldn't ask for more in a sitter.

Carlos watched my two dogs for a night as a trial run. He was communicative and sent plenty of updates. I was asked if I could pick my dogs up a few hours early, which I was able to accommodate. Overall, no negatives for Carlos; my dogs just ended up being too much for him to handle.

We really appreciated Carlos watching our dog over the holidays! He did a great job managing her anxiety and we would absolutely book again.
