Let me spoil your pet while you're away! Growing up, my family had pets and I would be the one to take our dog on walks and care for him. For a while now I've been the house sitter of choice for many of my friends because I connect so quickly and well with their pets. As time progressed, a few of my friends who used Rover's walking services started telling me about it and that I would be perfect. I can't commit to my own pet full-time but I'd love to show your furmily a good time when I can. Have a cuddler? I love a good scratch and snuggle. Active adventurer? Me too! I live in a very walk friendly neighborhood, do daily walks to Volunteer Park and love the company. Urban socialite? I've got a small squad of pups who are used to hanging with new friends and happy to host a play date in a secure, lakeside backyard. I'm happy to customize your pet's experience so that they are comfortable, happy and safe when they can't be with you. I value the time I spend with them and I can guarantee your dog will love their time with me and I will provide them with the best care.

Raquel was excellent! We have 3 cats and, honestly, they’re a bit complicated to take care of. Our old man needs a regular pill, liquid medicine, and inhaler; and he has so be separated from the kittens for meal times…so there is definitely complexity in our routine. Raquel was ON IT. She managed the complicated medications and the wide range of personalities of all three cats like a champ for TWO WEEKS!!! We were so happy with her care. We were able to enjoy our trip with zero concerns thanks to her regular check-ins. Would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to others.
Raquel is wonderfully attentive and patient with our older dog, and she swiftly and appropriately took her to an emergency vet after a seizure. I’m so grateful for Raquel and know how much she cares for my dog! Piper always comes home healthy and happy.

Raquel is amazing!! She just watched our sweet Eli over the Thanksgiving holiday. Eli is a 14 year old, 75 lb dog with minimal usage of his back legs. She happily helped him up often, which is no easy task, and made sure all his needs were met with love. She sent pictures of him to let us know he was good. The house looked just as we left it. We don't worry about a thing when she is staying at our home petsitting. We definitely recommend Raquel!!
