Good with dogs, esp. large ones.
I used to have 3 large/medium dogs of my own - 45, 60, and 115 lbs. - but now just Gus. All 3 dogs are/were rescues, one from a dog fighting ring. So I’m good with large, temperamental dogs. I’m in good shape as a runner, so I can take your dog out on a run if you like. But playing fetch is fine too.

I’m good with keeping your place clean and your pet exercised. I’ll make sure they’re only where they’re supposed to be allowed, and will take them on regular walks as requested, rain or shine. For overnights, I bring my own food and toiletries/towels so I don’t have to use yours.

Tom asked all the right questions leading up to this booking and when we had a family emergency the day before, he remained calm, professional and sympathetic as we got our act together. Tom and his dog Gus were great company for our young Westie while we were out-of-town. We would use him again in a heart beat.
Tom is the best! We’ve had him house sit and watch our dog and cat a few times now. Really attentive with the animals, leaves the house super clean. He’s very good with rescue dogs. We trust him a lot and are grateful for him!

Tom is fantastic! We have two large, energetic young pups (aka not easy!) and Tom took great care of them while we were out of town. One of them has some separation anxiety and he was very accommodating. He made sure we were updated, asked great questions, and overall made us feel like our dogs were in wonderful hands. Highly recommend Tom! He’s great with our reserved rescue, she warmed up to him right away which isn’t always the case, and was well cared for during our trip. Loved the photo updates of their walks and playing fetch. The house was left in tip top shape. Can’t thank him enough for the peace of mind while we were out of town!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and work remotely. So I’m available during the week and on most weekends. Overnight stays are not problem for me.
