I am currently working part time at a medical facility. My schedule stays consistent mostly. Week one: Monday, Saturday, and Sunday Week two: Wednesday and Thursday These are 12 hour shifts from 6:45 am to 7:30 pm. I am willing to check on your fur babies after shifts as well. I also baby sit from 8-2 on my Sundays off and 12-5 on my Wednesdays off. But those are not set and usually as needed for the parents. However, I am more than willing to hang with your fur babies before and after those times. I am very flexible with times outside of my scheduled work and baby sitting hours :)

I keep a clean environment to make sure that the pets don’t eat anything wrong and maintain good hygiene. I, myself, live in an apartment but there is a massive dog park right behind me. Keeping pets engaged in important to their mental health and quality of life and I strongly believe in making sure they get that engagement.

Let me know how they typically behave and if there are any strict boundaries. I’m usually pretty good with sussing that out but prior knowledge always helps, especially for me to be able to give a proper report after each visit. Also, if they are little escape artists so I know to take more caution walking in and out!
A typical day
There is no typical day because all cars have different personalities. Usually, I like to start the visits by getting the tasks done. Making sure the kitties are fed, they have water, and making sure the litter box is clean. Then, I spend the rest of the visit with the kitties. I cater my time with them based off of how they are presenting to me and any behavioral information given to me by the cat parents. Some cats prefer to be left alone; in that case, I just offer proximal playtime. Sometimes the cats prefer more cuddles than playing with toys. Other times they like to play, in which case I play with them. I don’t want to make them feel like a stranger is invading their space so I focus heavily on what their boundaries seem to be! Regardless, my attention is fully on them and making sure I’m able to get some quality and personality pics of the cats for their parents :)

Cat care experience
I welcomed my cat, Freya, into my life when she was six months old. Now at 5 years, she has taught me so much about patience, love, and the unique personality of each feline. Recently, my sister brought home a kitten named Yami, who couldn’t be more different from Freya. While Freya is calm and cuddly, Yami is full of energy and mischief. Balancing their very different personalities has given me valuable experience in managing cats’ individual needs with care and patience. I’m skilled at encouraging cats to take supplements, promoting healthy play, and managing special diets to support their well-being. I also prioritize maintaining a clean litter box and fresh water, knowing these small details make a big difference in a cat’s comfort and happiness. When you entrust your cat to me, you can be confident they’ll receive personalized, attentive care tailored to their unique personality and health needs. Together, Freya and Yami truly complete our home and make every day brighter. I look forward to providing your furry family members with the same love and dedication that I give to my own

Rumisha took good care of my cat.
Rumi has been so kind and thoughtful in caring for Sachi and the photos/updates while I had to be away longer than expected due to a stressful issue. I was able to not worry about my cat while I handled matters. I highly recommend Rumi.
Rumi was fantastic and very consistent. I appreciate the care the she took of Sachi and all the pictures and notes. A family situation occurred unexpectedly while I was away and I needed to extend the sitting, and Rumi was very flexible and compassionate.
