I was glad he was staying with a family who owned and know Frenchies as they have their specific needs and energy level. Amanda had shared about her previous Frenchie who passed a couple of months ago and said it was wonderful to have Winston spend some time with them now, especially with their children and dog. Winston had some of his classic GI challenges in a new environment and I received detailed information each day. He received lots of cuddles and love. I was not at all worried leaving him with Amanda. She also shared some tips on food choices and nutrition from her previous experience as a Frenchie owner. Winston came home clean, relaxed, happy and well. I definitely will request Amanda and Noah to take care of Winston in the future. Great find!”

They worked with all of her quirks and I knew she was well taken care of. About: I treat animals like people! Every pet needs to be treated with attention to detail — each individual is unique, just like humans. Things I can do: Provide food, refill water, playtime, scratches (or not, depending on the individual), give medicine, clean litter, send regular updates, and distribute scrumptious pet treats. I have had pets throughout my entire life. I have fathered cats, dogs, and hamsters. I share my home with Ash, my 11-year old cat — he’s an amazing friend who always keeps his cool. I have fostered young kittens before too, and am comfortable managing weights or preparing multiple meals per day, if necessary. In addition, I am no stranger to fellow dogs! I have taken care of both small and large dogs, and have even lived amongst the beasts. (I had two wonderful Shih Tzu when I lived in Florida.)😁

We read a lot of reviews and then booked an initial meeting with Justin a few months ago. We felt really comfortable and our cat clearly liked him. We’ve now just returned from our three week trip — our house was in impeccable condition and our cat was happy and well cared for. He sent us pictures everyday and a couple of videos as well. He was a ball of smiles when I met him at the end of the day and crashed hard for the rest of the evening (such a treat after a long day at work!). About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats throughout my life since being a teeny bopper (13-14 years old). I’ve loved animals since I was a child I would binge watch animal planet, discovery channel and dream of having a puppy as a child. My wish came true as I got older and I’ve learned the magic of respecting an animals nature as well as connecting to their hearts. I’m more than happy to help take care of the beings that take care of us in so many ways! Taking care of animals is my bread and butter so I am very professional and pour my heart, attention and care into the animals that choose me as their caretaker! I'm a stay-at-home mom and business owner so I have time throughout the day to care for animals, train them, play, walk them, and even just chill if that’s what they like to do. I don't have a rigid set schedule in my household, but I will follow any routine pet parents have for their babies. Typically I give two-three potty breaks during the entire day. Sunrise, mid-day, and night time. I have a 7 year old in my home, she loves animals as well so your fur baby should really enjoy children, have a low prey drive and patience to be a good fit for in home care. I care for my animals like they are my own family. I don't believe kibble and bits is a sustainable long-term way to keep your fur baby alive and healthy for years to come, so I cook fresh dog and catfood that can be added to their kibble or served stand alone. They love it and it's a quick way to get them comfortable and trusting of a new environment especially if they have separation anxiety. I establish myself as the big mama pack leader lol and they listen. I've had dogs that have had aggression towards other dogs come and board with me and make new paw pals. Dogs need to know that you are someone that can lead with love and that method has always had me have success with my furry friends. For cats, I know that they come from a long history and memory in their genes of being chased, disrespected, and even tortured in some places in the world so they need a lot of respect as far as space and allowing them to warm up. Every animal is different, but for cats specifically, I make sure to let them come to me when they're ready and give them their cozy permission to be free. Indipendence is key with felines for sure! My daughter is phenomenal at loving on these fur babies! Some have become her best friend very quickly, while others prefer the mama of the pack XD, either way we have a lot of fun.

About: I have lived, and worked, in Ballard for 14 years, and have gained many happy clients over this time. I do not have any dogs of my own, so I simply relish the time I spend with your animals. I am professional, clean, and thorough, with tons of energy for active dogs, and patience with old ones. I have experience watching everything on the spectrum: from an aggressive 90lb pooch, to an old lovely lab who couldn't use her hind legs. I'm just a nice neighborhood lady who would be happy to be your loyal Sitter! I am sensitive to your needs, and your pup's. We all have to work, and leave town, but our furry loved ones should be well cared for, and none the wiser. I am a great "fill -in" candidate, in your absence! I work 4 days a week - 4 pm to midnight. My Days are spent enjoying the outdoors before work and ideally with pets! I love Discovery, Woodland, Karkeek, Gasworks and even just walking the neighborhoods. I can also be still and quiet with older pets. The job is about caring for your loved one the way you need me to! It depends what they need. My main desire is to care for pets the way you would.
