We’re a warm, dog-loving family ready to welcome your pup into our home whenever you’re traveling or just need an extra hand — a home away from home. Dogs have always been a central part of our lives. We grew up with family pets and shared many wonderful years with our own sweet Scarlet before she crossed the rainbow bridge, and caring for dogs still brings us joy and comfort. We’re used to providing multiple walks a day (typically 4-5), but we’re happy to customize that to match your dog’s usual routine—more exercise, less exercise, or anything in between. Your pup’s comfort and well-being come first. Our home is relaxed, dog-friendly with possibly multiple pups sharing the house, and yes—dogs are welcome on the sofa! But if your pup has different house rules, we gladly follow whatever you prefer. We do everything we can to maintain their familiar routine so their stay feels as close to home as possible. Communication is important to us, and you can expect timely responses and regular updates so you always know how your dog is doing. We want you to feel completely at ease while you’re away. Most of all, we truly love getting to know every dog that comes through our door. We treat each one with the same care, patience, and affection we gave our own. Let us be your pet’s comfortable, caring home-away-from-home—where they’re treated like part of the family. 🐾💛 We are so thankful for our Rover clients, and are happy that many of our bookings are repeats. Ponyo and my poodle Hannah had a really superb first boarding together. Ponyo went out of her way to make Hannah feel welcome and anticipate her needs. She stayed in great communication the whole time. I’ll be excited for Hannah to stay with her again.
We had a wonderful experience with Ponyo. She was exceptionally kind, attentive, and proactive from start to finish. She made drop off and pick up smooth and stress free. Receiving her daily photos and updates gave us complete peace of mind. Ponyo is a fantastic sitter, and I highly recommend her; especially for senior pets who need gentle love and care!
If I could give Ponyo 10 stars, I would! My dog, Roo, was supposed to stay with her back in June, but due to him having two emergency room visits, I ended up needing to cancel the day before his stay. Ponyo was so understanding of the situation -- she worked with me with such empathy and I could feel her concern even just through texts as she checked in on him multiple times after his visit. When I had an impromptu trip come up this month, I knew I wanted to book with Ponyo if she was available and thankfully she was! She did an amazing job with Roo. She sent lots of photos and kept me updated on how he was doing throughout the day and evening. She was also really great about tending to his velcro personality with many lap and bed cuddles, and it was clear Roo made a new best friend. It is evident through her interactions and reports on Roo and how he interacted with other pups and with her kids that she understands dogs so well and knows exactly what to do to make them feel happy and comfortable during their stay. As I'm typing this message, Roo is sleeping soundly from having such a good time. I would recommend Ponyo in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Ponyo!
We love Ponyo so much! She is such a laid-back and accommodating person and our dogs are always so excited to pull up to her home. We feel so safe leaving the pups in her care and knowing they’ll be loved just as they are at our home.

Great communication and lots of photos and updates! Our Cleo always leaves happy and well cared for. Ponyo was also very flexible when we wanted to adjust Cleo’s length of stay!

Schedule
I am currently a stay at home parent, so am relatively flexible during the day while the kids are in school. The kids have activities after school so if your pet enjoys riding along, we can take them for a ride! When the kids are home, your furry family member will get three times the attention. Please note that we do accept multiple pups at the same time, and we strive to make sure each pup is comfortable in our home.

The neighborhood is great for walks in a residential area with lots of playgrounds, and if your pup enjoys car rides, can ride along for the kids’ school pick ups.
