About: Before starting Rover, I have been taking care of friends and neighbors dogs and cats since I was 10! Pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine. Dogs here get lots of attention, outdoor time, backyard breaks, play, naps, and relaxed company throughout the day instead of being left alone for long stretches. I’ve almost always had multiple dogs, so different personalities, energy levels, and routines feel pretty normal to me at this point. I do occasionally step out briefly for errands or appointments, so dogs staying here should be comfortable with short periods alone when needed (generally around 30 minutes to 1 hour max). Weekends around here are usually pretty relaxed — backyard time, toy play, projects around the house, and eventually everybody crashing somewhere around the dog suite afterward. I keep things calm, structured, and low-volume both in my home and when caring for pets in a client’s home. At home, I have a fully fenced backyard with direct outdoor access, high-drainage pet turf, and pavers to help keep things clean, safe, and low-mud. Dogs get supervised outdoor time, backyard play, potty breaks, naps, toy play, and their own clean crate setup for downtime when needed. I pay close attention to introductions, body language, energy levels, and overall group compatibility instead of just throwing dogs together and hoping for the best. I currently cap: - daycare at 3 dogs - boarding at 2 dogs For drop-ins and walks, I’m very respectful of people’s homes, routines, and instructions. I’m a homeowner myself, so I take trust, communication, home access, and safety very seriously. My overall approach is attentive, communicative, and low-chaos for both pets and owners.

I'm sure you've heard the Rover horror stories of sitters backing out last minute with no recourse. You can rest assured a guaranteed booking with us. We can provide afternoon or evening feeding. We are not comfortable administering pills or needle injections. Daily litterbox cleaning and lots of pets and snuggles throughout the day. PET SAFETY: Using caution when entering the home is important to ensure cat(s) don't escape. We also ensure bedroom doors don't accidentally close that might block the cats' access to food or litter box. Happy to bring in mail and packages, too. HOME SECURITY: Packages, newspapers, and door flyers will be brought inside if we see them on your porch when we arrive. We always verify the door is securely locked after we exit.

From the very beginning, everything felt thoughtful and easy — we did a meet-and-greet with Ken and Kaiya beforehand, which immediately put us at ease! They took such great care of Scout while we were away, and went above and beyond by dropping her off at our house when we had a late flight, so she could be there waiting when we got home. That extra bit of care meant so much and made a long travel day feel a lot sweeter!! Scout was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jennifer and Ken again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, reliable sitters.”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”
