She was able to cater to the individual different needs of our 3 cats very well. We could tell how happy and well-cared they were upon our return and we were able to enjoy a wonderful trip knowing our kitties were in Michelle’s capable hands! About: I'm new to Rover, but not new to pet care! For the past 4 years, I have been a volunteer at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, dedicating 2 hours a week to working with shelter dogs. I am extremely experienced with a variety of different types of dogs and I'm often asked to work with the more high needs dogs at the shelter (high energy, anxious around new humans, etc) because of my expertise. In addition to my work at the shelter, I have a regular client whose two dogs I have been walking weekly for a year, but I am hoping to expand my services. I am a teacher, so over the summer my schedule is extremely flexible. During the school year, I work 7:30-3:00 Monday-Friday so I am available in the late afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I live in Capitol Hill, but I'm willing to travel and I do have a car. I will happily follow any directions you leave in terms of dog care. While I don't specifically have experience caring for dogs in their own home, I believe that my experience working with shelter dogs gives me the flexibility and adaptability to meet your unique needs.
