Individualized and loving pet care
Animals have always been an important part of my life. As a child, my family fostered kittens for the humane society. Over the years, I have had or cared for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, chinchillas, a parrot, gerbils and hermit crabs. Additionally, I have volunteered with horses and hippotherapy. I enjoy getting to know pets as individuals and building loving, trusting relationships with them. In the past few years, I have mainly been walking dogs for 1 family due to my work and school schedule. However, now I have more time on my hands and would love to welcome more dogs and animals into my life.

I do my best to provide individualized, patient and loving care based on each pets needs. There are many different approaches to dog training and behavior but I’m a big believer in positive reinforcement. In order to provide the best care possible, I do require intake interviews with potential clients to establish needs, goals, and rules. For dogs that are still working on leash manners I do require these dogs to be walked using harnesses instead of collars. I also require harnesses for certain breeds like pugs and greyhounds or those suffering from certain health issues.

Caitlin is absolutely phenomenal. This was her second overnight stay, watching our 16 yo cat for just over 2 weeks and she continues to give us total peace of mind. Caitlin is highly responsive, frighteningly punctual, and takes her responsibilities seriously. She sent daily photos where it was clear Tuxie felt totally comfortable and had colonized her lap, her written updates were hilarious, and she stayed on top of our food/litter/medication inventory when we didn't. To top it off, we came back to a house cleaner than before we left: all surfaces clean, floors vacuumed, all linens washed, and the bed made. Caitlin is at the top of our list for sitters -- don't take her from us!

Caitlin is the best cat sitter we've ever had. From the start, she was incredibly thorough, asking insightful questions during the meet-and-greet that showed she truly cared about our cat's specific needs. She was also punctual right down to the minute! Throughout the weekend she was here, she sent frequent updates and photos of our 16yo cat who was being a bit fussy. It’s such a huge relief to travel and not worry for even a minute, knowing your pet is in such capable and caring hands. We are incredibly impressed with the level of care she provided and would absolutely love to have her back!
Caitlin did a great job watching our cat & house for two weeks! She did a great job managing our cats picky eating habits. Great communication from her the whole time. We highly recommend Caitlin!
Caitlin was great! She was the perfect buddy for my cat while I was out of town and gave plenty of updates on how he was doing.

Schedule
I do work full time and my schedule can vary but I will do my best to provide you an up to date work schedule. Most of my shifts range from 6-8 hours.
