About: Hi, I’m Angie (they/she)! I’m a dog parent and PhD student with 4+ years of walking and caring for my own reactive dog, and 17 years of petsitting dogs, cats, small mammals, and lizards. My goal in pet care of any kind is making sure your pets feel as safe, loved, and happy as possible while you’re away. I’m very comfortable working with reactivity in dogs and will ask all dog owners what their dog’s limits and preferences are regarding common triggers during walks. I also have experience with senior dog and cat care and medication administration. I’m a PhD student with a flexible work schedule during the school year and full daytime availability during the summer. This allows me to accommodate most care requests. The safety and comfort of your pets is my most important priority. I commit to following the “leave no trace” rule when visiting in client’s homes.

“I would say Anatolii and Svitlana for our super anxious dog was a pure blessing. They were meticulous about Simba's walks and feeding . Our dog is super anxious and takes time to get comfortable with new people . Simba started warming up to them and eventually started getting on bed with them during the period of care. They understand dogs and will cater their care as per the dogs needs. They were sweet to accommodate Whatsapp video calls when we were in India and also sent multiple photos. I would say knowing we can reach out to Anatolii and Svitlana again for Simba is very comforting . I will highly recommend them for any dog parents.”

About: I started working with animals in high school, accruing hundreds of volunteer hours at my local animal shelter, where I honed in on my passion for pet care. As I transitioned to university life, I started walking dogs on the weekends, and really enjoy getting to hang out and provide for other people's pets. Anastasia did a wonderful job with my three pups! Everyone got their meds and food on time and seemed relaxed and happy when I got home. Allie was wonderful with all three pups and made sure to send lots of updates and pics! She sat over the July 4th weekend and did great managing the firework anxiety, as well as making sure that two of them got all their meds for surgery recovery. Emma was amazing and took great care of my 60Ibs pittie mix (with some dog reactivity considerations, meds, and enrichment needs) for two weeks! Great to coordinate in advance with, very communicative and on time. While I was away, Emma offered updates and was responsive when I checked in. I came home to a healthy and happy pup and my home in good condition! Also mindful of building / security rules of my building. Emma went above and beyond staying later with my dog over Fourth of July evening. I had peace of mind while Emma was here. Kiska misses Emma already…
Hillary was wonderful! Leaving my dog in a strangers hands last minute is always nerve racking…but Hillary showed kindness, intuitiveness, and an ease that made me feel confident leaving my space and Nova in good hands. When I returned the space was clean, Nova was calm and happy, and Hillary asked great questions / was commutative throughout the stay. So grateful and would absolutely book again!
Kaitlyn is a great sitter, she stayed in my home over the weekend and took great care of my older dog. He needs medicine on a regular schedule and she was able to handle that no problem. Apartment was in great shape when I returned. She is responsible, flexible, and communicative. Thanks, Kaitlyn!
It's been an extremely smooth and easy process working with Tessa over the holiday weekend! Tessa was very communicative, patient and took great care of Beanie and Alfie. She also went above and beyond to get me updates for some new behaviors during the last walk with Beanie along with some stubborn behaviors resulting in a sloght change of plans for end of evening activities. Emily was so amazing for our house sitting! She made sure Dalia was super taken care of. She really took the time to ask how Dalia is, her routines, and if she has any particular behaviors. Leaving our dogs in dabs, Debs and Paul's care gave us such peace of mind while we were away. The daily update and pictures let us know that the dogs were being well cared for. Especially for our dog with epilepsy, updates about his medication schedule allowed us to have a stress-free vacation.
Alma is a remarkably trustworthy, conscientious, and warm-hearted catsitter, and I can’t sing her praises enough. Over the years, I have been fortunate to have had some pretty good catsitters, as well as a couple not so good ones. But Alma is truly outstanding. After interviewing a number of people on Rover, Alma stood out as very professional and detail-oriented during her meet-and-greet with us. Crucially, she also made an immediate connection with our furbaby, who normally hides away from strangers. We immediately appreciated that Alma exhibited the soul of a cat-lover AND the skillset of an executive assistant. Throughout our trip, she sent us daily updates, photos, and videos, all of which helped put us at ease. Furthermore, when a nearby neighbor in our complex started a kitchen fire, prompting the fire department to order all tenants to exit the building, Alma handled the situation with expert aplomb. She alerted us as soon as she was able to track down our hiding cat, get her into her carrier, and get her outside. Our baby also loathes being put into her carrier. Yet, because she already had such a strong connection with Alma, she willingly accepted being placed in her carrier and taken outside. Alma also handled the situation of leftover fire smoke in our unit very well, taking our kitty in her carrier to the park while our air filters worked to clean the indoor air. We received text updates and plenty of info throughout this process. We came back from our trip to an apartment that was cleaner than how we’d left it, and a cat who was the opposite of stressed out! Our kitty normally takes much longer to warm back up to us once we return from a trip, but thanks to Alma’s attention and care in our absence, our kitty was in great emotional shape upon our arrival back. We know she misses Alma, and we hope to be able to rebook this exceptional catsitter the next time we go out of town. Thank you, Alma!
Miana was great and did a great job cat sitting our two kittens! They did a meet and greet with us first, got to know them some, and asked good questions. They were responsive, communicative throughout our trip, and caring to the kittens. Our kittens can be a handful... dashing around at dawn, trying to eat or break things, and Miana handled it fine. They did a great job house sitting too, and offered to water plants.
