“Junbo is fantastic! I can't recommend her enough. She took care of my cat and high energy puppy when I was out of town for a week. She not only took my dog for a walk but took him to different hikes everyday. She takes care of the pets not just out of responsibility and accountability but also the enthusiasm and joy of being out with them. She truly enjoys the company and loves the pets she's tasked to take care of. She sends lots of photos and videos and gives frequent updates on their daily routine. Again, I highly recommend her for all the services that she offers. Will certainly hire her gain for house sitting. Thank you Junbo!!!”

“Kristy was phenomenal!! My dog, Mochi, was clearly very well taken care of, along with my house. Kristy provided multiple updates throughout the day, was very thorough in her questions about care, and was always responsive. Mochi can be quite reactive to other dogs and Kristy did a great job managing this and letting him have fun on walks. It was truly so nice to have peace of mind during my time away - including over 4th of July! Will be booking again for sure and would highly recommend : )”

“Jason was absolutely fabulous with our old man MoMo. He was super communicative and my dog was a happy old man when I returned. The house was spotless. Would definitely hire Jason again, especially with an older dog who I am always nervous about leaving.”
“Connie was the best! She took great care of our boys while we were out of town. Super communicative and proactive, and the pups seemed to have a blast.”

“Kira was an amazing dog sitter! One of our dogs has separation anxiety, and Kira did a great job keeping her calm and cared for. They also asked a lot of great questions to make sure they had all of the information they needed about our dogs while we were gone. They sent us pictures of the dogs and gave status updates while we were gone which was really appreciated! They were very flexible with time too, I was able to book them with just a few days notice, and had to stay out later than expected which was no problem for them. Overall it was a great experience, our pups seemed very happy. Thanks Kira! <3”

“Adrien’s care of Linus (both physical and emotional) and thoughtful updates were just wonderful. The biggest sign to me of a top-notch dog sitter is how my dog is when I am back and walking him again on leash as he can be a frustrated greeter and reactive on leash, and my dog had improved! Already booking Adrian again.”

About: I’m a dog parent and PhD student with 4+ years of walking and caring for my own reactive dog, and 17 years of petsitting dogs, cats, small mammals, and lizards. My goal in pet care of any kind is making sure your pets feel as safe, loved, and happy as possible. I’m very comfortable working with reactivity in dogs and will ask all dog owners what their dog’s limits and preferences are with common triggers during walks. I also have experience with senior dog care and medication administration. I’m a PhD student with a flexible work schedule during the school year and full daytime availability during the summer. I am also a part-time musician. The safety and comfort of your pets is my most important priority. I commit to following the “leave no trace” rule when visiting in client’s homes.
“Highly recommend Noah for housesitting. He took such great care of my pup and was very attentive to his needs. Sent lots of pictures and updates, which I love. And he left the apartment nice and clean when I came home!! Will definitely be booking with him again.”

“The Rovers I depended on pre Covid moved away and I got used to just being at home with Madison. Aileen is amazing with Madison. Madison knows her as “her people” now and Madison’s mom was able to get away for a day of being around people without any worries. The fact that Madison didn’t scream. Or care really that I left made me have a better day. Thank you!”

“Sofía was great! One of my dogs is quite nervous around new people and Sofia was great with her. She provided regular updates and pictures. My dogs were relaxed and happy when I came home. I would recommend her!”

“I really enjoyed having Brittany care for Junebug! She brought great energy, authenticity, thoughtfulness as well as groundedness to caring for June. I had a lot of instructions and she was great about following them. I also really appreciated that she was so communicative while I was on vacation -- which I don't experience a lot with other Rover sitters; communication is something that I highly value when I'm an anxious parent leaving my my baby behind -- especially with someone I don't know at first so she put me at ease and I felt safe and secure leaving my dog Junebug behind. I would definitely use her again as a sitter!”
About: I started working with animals in high school, accruing hundreds of volunteer hours at my local animal shelter, where I honed in on my passion for pet care. As I transitioned to university life, I started walking dogs on the weekends, and really enjoy getting to hang out and provide for other people's pets. I have open availability through most of the week, and for late-evening drop ins over the weekends. This allows me a lot of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your pets. Communication is key, and I strive to ensure all preferences are met during my visit/walk with your pet! I will frequently send updates, such as photos from during my visit/walk, and a little blurb about what your pet and I got up!
“Jasmine took wonderful care of our dog and two cats. She kept us updated with regular texts and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was such a relief knowing our pets and home were in great hands.”

“Anam is a FANTASTIC house/pet sitter! She stayed at our house for 3 weeks and we came home to a clean house and VERY happy animals! I would highly recommend Anam as she is kind, communicative, and responsible. She sent us updates and pictures regularly and even took our kitty to the vet while we were gone. Amazing! We will absolutely be hiring her in the future!”

“Yulia stayed with my sassy schnauzer for 10 days while I was in Europe. She kept me informed, sent photos and my guy was happy and content when I returned home. Absolutely would recommend & have already booker her for a 2nd round.”

“Ava is terrific! She took great care of Archie and kept us in the loop about him. On top of that, she left our house "spic and span" and wrote a goodbye note with details of her stay. Can we give her 10 stars?”

“Charlotte was great! We had to use Charlotte for a last minute extended booking and Charlotte was very communicative and took such good care of our two cats. Would highly recommend Charlotte to take care of their animals!”

“Beau was very communicative and sent picture updates which really put our mind at ease when we were away. They provided excellent care for our dogs and were very conscientious and left our place clean when they left.”

“We are so happy that we found Kathryn! She watched our dog Fern over a long holiday weekend. We had some specific instructions for our dog (e.g., no greeting other dogs) and Kathryn handled them all so well. We will definitely be asking Kathryn to watch our dog again in the future!”

Sand Point pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alma is a remarkably trustworthy, conscientious, and warm-hearted catsitter, and I can’t sing her praises enough. Over the years, I have been fortunate to have had some pretty good catsitters, as well as a couple not so good ones. But Alma is truly outstanding. After interviewing a number of people on Rover, Alma stood out as very professional and detail-oriented during her meet-and-greet with us. Crucially, she also made an immediate connection with our furbaby, who normally hides away from strangers. We immediately appreciated that Alma exhibited the soul of a cat-lover AND the skillset of an executive assistant. Throughout our trip, she sent us daily updates, photos, and videos, all of which helped put us at ease. Furthermore, when a nearby neighbor in our complex started a kitchen fire, prompting the fire department to order all tenants to exit the building, Alma handled the situation with expert aplomb. She alerted us as soon as she was able to track down our hiding cat, get her into her carrier, and get her outside. Our baby also loathes being put into her carrier. Yet, because she already had such a strong connection with Alma, she willingly accepted being placed in her carrier and taken outside. Alma also handled the situation of leftover fire smoke in our unit very well, taking our kitty in her carrier to the park while our air filters worked to clean the indoor air. We received text updates and plenty of info throughout this process. We came back from our trip to an apartment that was cleaner than how we’d left it, and a cat who was the opposite of stressed out! Our kitty normally takes much longer to warm back up to us once we return from a trip, but thanks to Alma’s attention and care in our absence, our kitty was in great emotional shape upon our arrival back. We know she misses Alma, and we hope to be able to rebook this exceptional catsitter the next time we go out of town. Thank you, Alma!
Jasmine is the best! We always leave for our trip knowing our two kitties will be in good hands, and well cared for and loved. It is such a relief knowing we don't have to even worry about them because Jasmine does such a great job caring for them and taking care of the apartment, too. We always do stay-in apartment sitting because the kitties are happier that way and it gives us piece of mind knowing the place is being watched and lived in. We (kitties and their people) love Jasmine!! ❤️

Miana was great and did a great job cat sitting our two kittens! They did a meet and greet with us first, got to know them some, and asked good questions. They were responsive, communicative throughout our trip, and caring to the kittens. Our kittens can be a handful... dashing around at dawn, trying to eat or break things, and Miana handled it fine. They did a great job house sitting too, and offered to water plants.

🐾Liane was a PERFECT house sitter for our four pets🐾 We could tell from the way she followed our instructions on our pet’s routines, to being able to give pet medicine, to taking care of our elderly dog, keeping the house clean, and sending us cute updated photos. Could not recommend her more highly; book her now—you don’t need to look any further🐾

I was so happy to book Fox on short notice for a 2 night stay with my somewhat older pup Frida. Fox was very responsive and communicative. She spent plenty of time hanging out and chilling with Frida, exactly what Frida loves. Fox was also conscientious about adjusting to some of Frida's activity restrictions and administering medication. Frida was happy and settled upon my return and my house very tidy. I really enjoyed meeting Fox; she's friendly, responsive, responsible and a great communicator! I'll definitely book her for future needs.

Jazzlynn has now stayed with our dog twice. She does a great job of keeping us informed of how things are going. She’s a great house sitter, and leaves everything neater than when we left. We will continue to request Jazzlynn as long as she’s willing to sit with our anxious dog!
