I've been around dogs and puppies since I was kid. My grandparents always had at least 1 dog in the house, so I have a lot of experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I've house-sat for many friends and family members, and have taken care of pets other than dogs such as cats, bunnies, hamsters, and frogs!

We have a fenced yard but unfortunately will not be able to house another pet at our home. In the client's home, I will be very diligent in watching the pet and don't plan to leave to and from the home often.

Avonlea has watched our dog twice. She stayed in our home and Gracie enjoyed walks daily and a snuggle buddy to hang with. Gracie was happy and our house was in perfect shape when we got back. Would gladly have Avonlea house/dog sit again.
Avonlea was a great sitter. She watched our dog and house for over a week. She walked her regularly and sent photos while we were away. We were glad Gracie had snuggle buddy while we were gone.

Avonlea took care of our 3 cats this past week and was absolutely amazing! This was the first time we've had someone cat sit and were worried they'd react badly to someone new (two of them are usually skittish around people they've never seen before); thankfully, they all warmed up to her almost immediately! She kept us posted with updates and photos, responded quickly to any concerns we had, and was honestly a huge lifesaver since she agreed to house sit for us on pretty short notice; we'll definitely be booking with her again!!
We recently had Avonlea watch our two dogs and house for almost two weeks. This was our first time working with Avonlea and we will gladly do so again in the future. She was prompt, attentive to details, easy to work with, and quickly understood a few complicated details about our house that other sitters had kind of struggled with in the past. But most importantly, she took great care of our dogs and our home.
So wonderful and great with the dogs. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Schedule
My work schedule keeps me busy most mornings and some full days, but it is varied and I do have a decent amount of time in the afternoons and evenings, especially on weekdays. Pet care is extremely important to me and I remain flexible with whatever is needed from the client.
