Heather can care for
Availability
I currently work full-time at a hotel in Bellevue. My schedule includes odd hours such as early morning and late evening shifts on weekdays and weekends. This leaves me availability during business hours to pick up dog walks, drop in visits, and watch animals that can be left for 8 hours if necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a home myself to offer to pets, but when in a client's home I will care for pets as their owner asks me to. In addition to specific owner instruction, I will pay close attention to pets, feed and water them, take them on walks in the case of dogs, and play with or pet them.
Information Heather W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any health issues requiring medication or extra keen supervision--such as anxiety. I also would like to know if your pets are potty-trained. Please tell me if they have a tendency to biting, scratching, or running away. And importantly, tell me how trained they are so that I know what commands I can give them or if I need to be prepared for a challenge.
A typical day
If they are social and playful, then I will gladly play with them with whatever toys they like. If they are more cuddly or want attentive petting, I will happily oblige. If they are keen walkers, I will take them on good walks.

Pet care experience
I started house and pet sitting at age 16 when neighbors started asking me to watch their pets. My first gig was actually for a rabbit, but since then I've worked with dogs and cats. I have taken care of old dogs who required several medications, cats with kidney and digestive issues, and even a poor young dog who experienced seizures.

Reviews

Heather took great care of Banjo!
Heather has taken care of our extremely high maintenance doggies for extended periods (10-15 days) and we have come home to content calm happy boys! One dog hates everyone (but not Heather) and the fact that he tolerates Heather and allows her to give him his meds says a LOT about her calm nature insecure dogs gravitate towards! The second one is a spaz that has serious dietary restrictions! He also needs daily meds and is unpredictable on walks (he attacks oncoming cars) so she to be diligent on walks with him! We also 100% trust Heather in our house and treat her as family when she stays! Can’t say enough on Heather’s abilities and kindness with our boys! Layla
Heather is an exceptional dog sitter for my multiple dogs . She is reliable , punctual , follows directions , and an excellent communicator with both daily updates and pics on the dogs activities and behaviors . My dogs absolutely adore her and are always excited to see her which gives me great peace of mind . It’s clear Heather LOVES animals and takes pride in what she does so don’t hesitate to book her , as I can’t recommend her enough !
"Heather is very trustworthy, caring and attentive. She takes care of our three cats and 1 dog. Went above and beyond in caring for one of our senior cats that needed daily medication. She was great about giving it to her and communicating with us. We were also treated to a clean house and pictures of our fur babies."
