I do ask if a dog is, used to being boarded and if they have any separation anxiety. I also ask if they have the tendency to want to run away or escape. I also ask if they have any reactions to passing by certain other dogs or objects. (I walk a dog who wants to lunge toward skateboarders but we are working on that!)
A typical day
We play, tug, fetch and our Sunny loves to run and chase! He has different play styles with different dogs but we always like to get their legs moving. We love our neighborhood walks saying hi to friends and getting the best doggy sniffs!

Hi my name is Holly, I am a stay at home mom of 2 boys and I've been a pet owner my entire life. I grew up with cats and dogs and I presently have a beautiful, sweet, male golden retriever who I absolutely adore. I love all animals and have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters and amphibians. I have a secure yard that is completely fenced in with grass, woodchips, a doggie door and a deck where the dogs love to lie in the sun after playing. While boarding or providing daycare, I don't spend much time away from home except to take and pick up my boys from school or to head out for the occasional errand. I believe quality of life and respect toward our pets is important. I understand that it can be stressful for some dogs to be away from their owners in a new and unfamiliar place. I am patient, kind and loving. Your pup will be safe, very well cared for, loved and never lonely or bored at our house!

Another 5-star review for Holly! This was our first time with a Rover sitter, and our two cats were in great hands with her. She was extremely responsive from start to finish, sending us daily updates from her drop-in visits with lots of photos. One of our cats has a special diet, and Holly let us know how much she was eating so we could make sure she was getting enough, which was really appreciated. Our other cat is shy around strangers, but really warmed up to Holly and even played and cuddled with her. Holly was also very helpful with a couple of unexpected issues, like dealing with a surprise barf and resetting our pet cam when it was acting up. She is experienced with cat care and seems very fond of cats! I would absolutely recommend Holly for catsitting.
We appreciate Holly taking such great care of our two cats! We know and trust that they are in good hands while we are traveling. We highly recommend her!
Holly is amazing, so good with our kitties and always goes above and beyond.
