I've worked for a dog boarding company in Sammamish WA called Happy Hound Hotel, which has now closed, for 5 years part time. Getting to work with dogs that were regulars was really a treat, and I continue to care for some prior Happy Hound clients.

Having worked as a veterinarian assistant and as a handler at a dog boarding and daycare facility, I am very comfortable around all sorts of pets young and old. Different pets need different levels of care so we will discuss any existing conditions or concerns that your pet has or special care that they require; in addition contact information for your local vet and emergency vet is a must in case of emergency.

Matt watched our dog and 2 cats and was easy to communicate with, followed all directions, and sent great photo updates and status updates on the pets. Our dog is old and requires meds and extra help and we appreciated Matt taking care of him. Would use again!
Matt was fantastic! I'm very particular about who walks my dogs since one of mine is anxious, but Matt put me at ease right away. He clearly knows a lot about dog behavior and handled my anxious pup with real care and patience. Highly recommend him — I'll definitely be booking him again!
