About Kyrsten Hi! I’m Kyrsten, and I’m excited to be welcoming new Rover clients again! I’ve been caring for pets through Rover for several years, along with many years of helping friends, neighbors, and family with their pets. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. While I offer all Rover services—including boarding, house sitting, daycare, drop-in visits, and dog walking—my favorite services are drop-in visits and walks. I love helping busy pet owners keep their pets comfortable in their own home while making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and love throughout the day. When you book with me, you can expect: • Prompt, reliable communication • Plenty of photo and video updates • Walks and playtime tailored to your pet’s energy level • Fresh food and water • Medication administration if needed • Reinforcement of your pet’s normal routine and training • Lots of affection and one-on-one attention For boarding and daycare, your pet will enjoy a fully fenced yard, daily exercise, and a home where animals are already a big part of everyday life. We currently have one friendly dog, two cats, and chickens, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of animals and personalities. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy, a senior who prefers slower walks, or a shy cat who just needs someone patient to check in on them, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so communication is one of my highest priorities. I’ll keep you updated throughout every visit with photos, videos, and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! Friendly and easy to communicate! Kyrsten is responsible and always sent pictures of our dog while we were away. She gave him walks and showed up to dog sit every day even when the weather was terrible. We appreciated her checking in on our pup for a week while we were away.

Schedule
or weekly routine? Caring for animals is already a big part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide morning, afternoon, and evening care, making it easy to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, daycare, boarding, or overnight stays. I prioritize reliability and make sure every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. At home, we have one dog, two cats, and chickens, so caring for animals is simply part of everyday life.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, exercise, and any special instructions you provide. For boarding, I have a fully fenced yard and closely supervise outdoor time. Dogs are never left outside unattended. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and designed to help visiting pets feel comfortable and secure. For drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting, I treat every home with the same respect I would my own. I’ll lock doors, follow your instructions carefully, and provide photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
Pets
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor each visit to their personality and energy level. Whether that’s neighborhood walks, trips to a nearby park, playing fetch, enrichment games, cuddles on the couch, or simply keeping them company, I want them to feel happy and comfortable. My own dog loves walks, frisbee, and puzzle toys, so I enjoy keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged—not just taking them outside for a quick potty break. If your pet prefers a slower pace or lots of snuggles, I’m just as happy to spend quality one-on-one time with them.
