I am extremely respectful and patient with all walks of life and will go at whatever pace your pet is comfortable with. Whether it be snuggling under some blankets, going on a hike, or simply sitting and watching birds out the window, I am here for it!

Every animal has their quirks so please let me know your pet’s to make sure they are getting the most out of our time! What is their favorite thing to do? Do they have any medical needs or restrictions? Is your pet reactive or anxious? Luckily I have a vast knowledge on both dog and cat behavior and love to help educate owners on how to better understand their pet.
A typical day
The best way to exercise a dog is to exercise their mind! I like to allow dogs to take the lead and follow their nose to explore the different parks and hiking trails we will visit. Your dog is choosing the adventure I’m just along for the ride! If your pet would rather stay inside, no worries! I like to find fun and creative ways to provide them with enrichment like snuffle mats, food puzzles, or even just your typical play.

Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life around all sorts of animals! I worked as vet assistant for two years, an adoption’s assistant and pet care specialist at my local humane society before moving to Florida. While in Florida I pet sat full time independently for 3 years and gained a lot of experience dealing with anxious and reactive dogs. We decided to make the move to Washington and thought I would jump back on rover 😊

I was anxious to find a dog sitter, and I wanted to make sure I found someone with a decent amount of experience. Sophia was more than happy to do a meet-and-greet with both of my dogs. She met them both where they were at, and they both had a successful first experience getting care from someone other than me or a close friend.
