“Nicole was very professional and friendly, she did a drop in for my rottie pup and took him out to potty, trained, and played with him/cuddled him while we were out. She followed instructions clearly and gave my puppy careful attention (gets destructive when bored) and took care of his needs while we were gone. I would hire her again!”

“Just the best pet sitter!! Lisa has done both drop-in visits and house sitting for my cat and my dog: 5stars each time! Great communicator, takes lovely photos, and my pets adore her!”

About: Ive taken care of animals of all kinds, from domestic to farm animals since I was very young. Ive loved with small dogs and cats most of my life, but absolutely adore your big dogs! I look forward to helping you. Im currently unemployed, and will be going back to school full time this September. I have absolutely nothing but ample time to dedicate to taking care of the animals in my house. I currently live with three cats and love to assist in cleaning their boxes, making sure e erodes fed properly, and playtime. Even pet needs something different. That being said, it's very easy to address any pets needs. Some pets need special food, some need to put on a jacket when they go outside, some need to be separate from any and all other animals. Whatever your pet needs, I can provide.
“Paul was clutch in every sense of the word. 🫶 We were in a bit of a scramble after our original sitter fell through last-minute, and Paul came through like a legend. We had a wedding to attend and needed someone to check in on our fur kids (Nala, Zeus, Tank, and Milo) — and he totally nailed it. From the jump, he was super chill, responsive, and just on it. Asked all the right questions, followed instructions to a T, and kept us updated with messages that made us feel way less guilty for stepping away from our lovable little velvet hippos for the day. 😅 Our kids are generally friendly, but let’s be real — a pack of bullies charging at you with full gremlin energy can be a lot. Paul didn’t even flinch. Handled it like an absolute pro, and had them vibing with him almost instantly. We could tell they were in great hands — cared for, played with, and probably a little spoiled (as they should be). Honestly, Paul is the kind of sitter that makes you feel like you hit the Rover jackpot.✨Reliable, good vibes, and clearly great with animals. 1000% would book again. Thank you, Paul, for stepping up and showing our kids mad love. You’re officially part of our bully gang now. 🐾💯”

“Simply an awesome human being! Bobbi's looked after my old guys a few times now and they've always done great with her. She's committed to making sure your family members with four legs are well looked after.”

“Lisa was great! She took excellent care of our cat, followed instructions well, was dependable, and communicated promptly. We will definitely ask her to be our drop-in cat sitter again.”

About: I've had small critters through most of my life until my family got a dog when I was in high school. I would help to feed him, take him out, and play with him regularly. I now have 3 cats of my own and have watched many pets for friends over the years. Most recently a friend of mine who also walks dogs through Rover has had me help with walking some dogs while they were out of town and I loved getting to meet new animals. I make sure to show the animals I'm caring for the same amount of love I would show my own. I am comfortable giving medications to animals if needed and make sure they always have clean food bowls and full water bowls. I'm a teacher so right now my schedule is super flexible to meet your needs. Once September hits my availability will change to mostly afternoon/evenings and weekend availability. I show other people's pets I am caring for the same amount that I would show my own. I make sure they always have a clean place to eat/drink from and for cats, scoop litter boxes on a daily basis. I am more than happy to send daily updates and pictures if you would like because I know I personally miss my cats a lot when I have to leave them for extended periods.
“Micayla is great! She stepped in when my regular sitter was unable to cover a couple of long days and the pups were well taken care of and I was totally able to trust all was well. Will absolutely book Micayla again and recommend choosing her for your furbabies.”

“Very diligently took notes during the initial home walkthrough, very communicative during each of her visits with the kitties. Overall, a stellar pet-sitting experience and will absolutely be booking her in the future.”

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, horses, cows, chickens, and ducks from a very young age. For the last 13 years I have worked in the pet food industry developing a knowledge and passion for pet health, behavior and nutrition. My current work schedule is Tues-Sat, I am available for walks, potty breaks and feedings before or after my shifts. Sunday and Monday there is more flexibility in my schedule and I can do mid day drop ins or longer distance runs/walks with higher activity level pets. I would love to meet you and your pet to discuss any special needs or requirements for their care. I have a fenced yard and live in walking distance to a public park and school field that can be used before/after school hours. I prefer to work with your pet in the environment which they are most comfortable, your home. I am open to short stays at my home if that is what is best for your situation.
About: I love animals and have owned everything from dogs and cats to bunnies, hamsters, and many types of fish. I enjoy engaging with pets and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m excited to give owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are being looked after safely and lovingly while they’re away. I work a typical 8-5 job part time, so I have time to hang out with your pets on the evenings and weekends! Excited to meet them! I know cleanliness is such a big deal in pet care, so I have dedicated clothes that are washed before visiting any new friends! I know that different pets have different circumstances and conditions, so it’s better to be careful. ☺️

“Angel did an amazing job taking care of our dog Bear. He can be difficult and seemed to warm up to her quickly. She helped us out when another sitter did not show up for us! I would definently recommend her again. I gave a 4 instead of a 5 because we had some communication difficulties on both ends because of the last minute timing for our pet sitting.”

“Howie hasn't had a lot of interaction with people and can sometimes be confused about how hes supposed to act. Jasmin did an amazing job with him and by the end of my vacation is was sitting in her lap getting some pets.”

“Responsive, reliable, and great with my pup! Thank you so much. We really needed support with our dog and really appreciate how quickly we were able to get help. We will be return clients for sure!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Parkland with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
