Before I dropped Dash off, I could tell that Val was conscientious and organized - she asked good questions about Dash during the meet and greet, had contingency plans in case things went wrong, and let me meet some of the other dogs staying with her. She has a nice fenced yard area for dogs to play in, including some shade and structures for dogs to run over/through. During his stay, Val sent us pictures and video of Dash playing with other dogs and even a cat! (We gave her permission to see how Dash did with cats, since we don't have any). He came back tired and healthy. All in all, we are happy and will be asking Val to take care of Dash again.”
“Our dog stayed 4 nights at Diahann’s. Diahann and her family welcomed our very high energy 3-year old 15-lbs male Havanese. We got our little “hairball” during the pandemic and he is not used to people other than our family. It takes a long time for him to warm up to someone he does not know but Diahann and her family patiently let him settle in slowly until he let his guard down and become more comfortable in an unfamiliar environment. About: I have had many dogs and taken of care many. All sizes and types. I absolutely love animals and take great care of them. I can follow any instructions you may have. They will be loved as if they were my own. We will have plenty activities to do and if they're not to active of a dog then they're more than welcome to just sit and watch tv with me! Dogs aren't just pets, they're family. For dog walking/house sitting I like to let the dogs have plenty of outside time and let them explore (supervised) and play! We have an acre of backyard(fenced) for them to run and play! I only work nights and my husband stays home with our 2 year old so someone is always home to give the dogs attention! In the morning after breakfast we usually play in the back yard for a while, and then my dogs like to relax inside after before I go to work. Then they usually wander outside with my husband and two year old walking the yard and playing ball. I have a fenced yard, and very friendly dogs with tons of energy to play! About: I’ve had cats in my life since a very young age! My first cat was an outdoor cat we inherited from our neighbors when I was 3. She found her way to our house and never left. About: Hello! I grew up taking care of mostly dogs in my house until finally was able to get my own dog 6 years ago. I've experienced other people who love animals but I feel like I have a connection to dogs that beats out others, I can read a dogs vibe and match it pretty well. Currently take care of 2 mid-large sized dogs and 3 cats. Love it all! Also love taking pictures of dogs so I’ll make sure to get some model shots :) I recently got out of the Navy after 8 yrs and I am currently not working so I have all day to play with pets. I am go with the flow in whatever and whenever your animal needs to eat and go potty and play/train. However often needed depending on the owner’s schedule, I’ll take them out for a walk so they can have their exercise. About: I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. My family dog passed away of old age (13 years) last year so I love the thought of spending time with other people’s dogs and giving them love when their families can’t be there. I currently have a golden doodle named Loki (2 years old) who lives with my friend and have taught him to sit, shake, lay down, and whisper bark! I am currently a graduate student studying speech language pathology at the University of Washington. All funds that I make through Rover go towards paying my tuition. “I can tell my dog loves his staycations at Mariko’s house. She takes him to the dog park nearly every day and gives plenty of attention. She goes the extra mile. For example, she provided stairs to help my senior dog in and out of the car. She’s also really good about sending daily check-ins (photos, videos, etc.) It is a bit of a drive to drop off and pick up for us, but it’s totally worth it. She is our go-to dog sitter.”
